Excellent food, excellent service, excellent restaurant. Went here for our anniversary. My wife inquired if gluten free was available on the menu. She was informed by the chef that most items could be made gluten free. She ordered gluten free eggplant rollettini, her brother ordered regular. The taste, flavor and consistency were very similar, both delicious. I had the house veal, also excellent. The entire wait staff contributed to the service. Team work and customer service seemed second nature to them. We never had to look for someone to bring something. This was my fourth visit to Casa Bella and it won't be the last. read more

Everything was Fair but the real killer is a surcharge for pasta or a different type of soup Which was no different than soup I've had in any other Italian restaurants can't figure that one out I don't drink soda but there is no refills unless you pay for a second one and the cappuccino hopefully only today maybe they had someone that really did not know how to make it. Do not base it on me for my review but in my Opinion I probably will not go back there . Their frugality in certain departments makes me a little cautious. I can see the soda extra charge it does keep the noisy children away but pasta and similar soup. Maybe there is some more stuff that charge extra to your meal that you could get in any Italian restaurant normally But I don't think I will find out what they are now read more

Thank GOD for Casa Bella. The BEST Italian dining in Martin or St. Lucie. PERIOD! Nice waiter, the chef came out and said hello, the food was marvelous. I see some reviews complaining about wait times but those people can go to McDonald's. This food takes time and love and patience. This food is the real deal. This area should be so very grateful to have this absolutely wonderful, beautiful restaurant in town. My wife and I had a beautiful date at your restaurant that we will remember for the rest of our lives. It was so romantic, warm, and perfect. I get the chills thinking about it. Most interesting anniversary ever. We were told to sit wherever we liked, then told we couldn't sit where we chose due to Covid and incoming reservations. We felt very uncomfortable and wanted to leave, but I caved and we asked to sit on the covered patio. We were told no, there was a 80% probability of rain. We were sat inside in the annex room, promised it was for our safety. Our waitress Lidia was delightful, but had to be on her maybe or nearly first night serving. She was as sweet a person as can be, but was challenged by the specials, by wines and by timing. By this time we couldn't bear to hurt her feelings as she was trying so hard, but also realizing this would not be the romantic, relaxed evening we had planned for our 31st anniversary. Keep in mind, both of us are restaurant/hotel/travel career folks, not snobs or perfectionists. Everyone deserves a fair start, but maybe not at these prices? Lol. Food was very good, even accommodated my switching veal for chicken. Back to the promised safety- the other (of the three tables in the annex) came in, one of the patrons fully describing her recent bout of Covid. Folks, if you are going out in public, you might not want to make every detail of your illness the topic of conversation in a 4x9 room. We were unsure whether to run, cry or laugh, but dinner was served, so we laughed. Kind of. FCOL, really? So, this was our anniversary! ??? Amazing cheesecake and amuse bouche after dinner. As we departed, still giggling, we saw that we could, indeed, have sat on the patio (untouched by rain) despite the earlier admonishment- there were two very happy looking tables, quite dry from all appearances. This was a terrible experience. We had dinner for 6 but only 5 were able to eat as the last meal was served after everyone was finished. The service was not up to par and the food we did receive was sub par. When asked to see the manager a busboy was sent to the table as Jerry the owner didn't feel 6 locals were important enough to visit himself. This was our first and last visit to this restaurant. Never ever again. Went there for my Mother's Birthday. First we got there at 6:25 and there was a small wait. Then we were told a there was Cancelation and we were seated. 5 minutes later, we were asked to be reseated because the "Cancellation" people arrived. Relocated to another table. 10 minutes later the waitress brought us our water. Ordered two glasses of wine that arrived 20 minutes later. Next we ordered salad and appetizers and main course. 45 minutes later we were told that our appetizers were sent to the wrong table, but brought the salad. 25 minutes later the appetizers came. It was now going on 8:30 and our food still didn't arrive. Finally asked to speak to the management and mysteriously the food arrived. The Veal was still raw and all of our orders were wrong. To make matters worse, the restaurant didn't want to adjust the bill, and instead gave us a salad. Horrible service. An absolute terrible experience. Three meals cost us over $150.00... We were a party of four celebrating a birthday. We arrived on a Tuesday evening around 6:30 and were quickly seated in the back room. That was the only quick thing that happened the whole time, thus my 4 star rating. Everything was slow- getting the wine, water refills, dinner and the check. It was also very warm in there. Our waitress was very nice and the food was outstanding. We had the chicken Casa Bella, the shrimp Casa Bella, a stuffed chicken special, and some type of mixed seafood dish(I forgot the name, Tiki something). They were all excellent. I have been here numerous times over the past 16 years that I've been a resident of Stuart. I have only had one slightly negative experience and it was a small one involving the waiter. All our visits have been for special occasions and my best friend even proposed to his girlfriend here on our recommendation. I have always enjoyed the food the atmosphere and charm of this wonderful location offering some of the best Italian food I've had outside of New York, and Italy itself! Just a note, yes it is a bit pricey and they will have off days just like we all do. But it is well worth the cost and is always my choice for my birthday. If you want cheap pre-packaged frozen entrées go to Olive Garden. If you're willing this is a wonderful choice. read more

This restaurant has been around a long time but it has gotten worse over the years. Cute restaurant but bad design. We seem to always be seated at the same table which has you squished between a koi pond and a wall such that the waitress cannot serve your dinner or drinks. Tonight was the last time I will venture here. Mother's Day, with reservations... the restaurant was grossly understaffed and no sign of the manager. We were seated on time at 5:30. It took 15 min just to get water let alone order drinks. Easily another 15min to get our food ordered. We did not get served out meal until 6:30. Our waitress, though very nice, was so overboard with tables that she could not possibly tend to even the simplest request. She had 2 tables of 10 plus 3 tables of 4... are you friggin kidding me! Again, no sign of management to help out. By the time we finished and had our checks paid it was after 8pm. 2.5hrs is just ridiculous! And to top it off the side salad was $11 and no one explained that because it was casear that it was not the included dinner salad. That's right, an $11 SIDE salad! We were too annoyed to bother questioning it but will be attempting to talk to the manager tomorrow for a refund at minimum for the salad. read more

My family and I recently chose to dine at Casa Bella, to celebrate my birthday. And we couldn't be happier with the service we received from Daniel and his supporting staff. The menu was very creative, with many intriguing dishes that we had never before experienced. Daniel also painted an amazingly descriptive and tantalizing picture of the specials, which we ordered and thoroughly enjoyed! Our evening couldn't have been more perfect. From Daniel helping us decide which room and table to chose, to our wine selection, the appetizers, the salads, entree's and my special birthday dessert! Five months ago we made a reservation for six for Christmas Eve at 6:30. This was intended to be a special occasion and celebration with three generations of family members in attendance. We arrived early and enjoyed some wine until our reservation time of 6:30 arrived at which time we were informed they were running a bit behind. We were happy to wait a few minutes until our table was ready. Forty five minutes passed and during that time we watched as several other parties walked right in and were seated. We hadn't eaten all day in anticipation of the culinary delights that awaited us and though my five year old did eat throughout the day, he became extremely hungry during the long wait time. At one point we asked how long it would be and we're given the textbook "just a few more minutes" and anyone who has ever worked in the business knows that this noncommittal answer is designed to give patrons just enough hope that food is just over the horizon and those patrons won't leave. With the money one spends there being blown off for an hour then not provided with a solution is nothing less than insulting. Apparently nobody there could provide an explanation as to why mixed-sized parties were being rotated in an out, there were open tables and a five month standing reservation was meaningless. We decided at that point anywhere was better than this place and we asked for the check to pay for our wine so we could leave (unlike the couple across from us that left without paying after drinking their wine because they were waiting for what seemed like 45 min for their food after ordering). Just as our Christmas Eve seemed doomed, Michael, a server at Casa Bella pulled the trigger and made a command decision to take us out of the hands of whatever buffoonery was taking place on one side of the restaurant and place us in his section which was obviously overcrowded due to management's dullardly decision to effect an efficient server to patron ratio by adequately staffing their business. The point is, there was probably several servers with years of experience and at least one manager there and some young kid (Michael) was the only one savvy enough to know how to not lose business. It appears as though the owner needs to consider restructuring his current chain of command with Michael at its zenith because whoever decided to structure the "three seatings" and logistics for tonight is is about as necessary to Casa Bella as tits on a bull. WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD!! DO NOT BRING ANYONE YOURE TRYING TO IMPRESS. I went with my family and they took an HOUR AND A HALF to bring soup and salads. when we brought it to their attention they rudely said "we're getting to it". after they clearly didn't get to it for us, we noticed the people next to us had gotten salads even though they had gotten there after us. We asked to pay and leave and received no apology from the male worker and when we told him what was wrong with the service he said "i don't need your rude attitude". DO NOT GO HERE. read more

Where do I begin? Had dinner reservations for Christmas Eve which I made on 28Oct. and reconfirmed on 09Nov. with Cheryl. They had 3 different seatings and although I would have preferred a later seating I took the first so I could have the specific table I wanted. Arrived at 4:15 PM for a 4:30 PM reservation. We approached the maitre d and gave our name. Before I knew it they took a couple that was in line behind us and sat them at the table I had requested. Now I highly doubt that many reservations were made before 28Oct and even if it was we were clearly there first. Obviously they either knew someone or was related to someone who worked there. I don't mind that, that's their prerogative but they should have been upfront about it instead of just blowing me off. Used to one of our favorite places but there are a lot more great restaurants with great food that will treat their customers better! read more

This place is really quaint. We sat in the garden room and had a fantastic dinner. I had my favorite, the fettuccine alfredo which was very rich and delicious. I went to Casa Bella for Christmas Eve with my family. I truly had the worst experience of my life. Waited 20 minutes for a table (when I had a reservation ), waited a half hour for water, and was given no apologies by the blonde hostess. As a New Yorker I am in tune with the food scene. This was the absolutely worst !!! I urge all of stuart to NOT go to this establishment. Chef Jerry has the best red sauce I have every had. The pan fried calamari with red sauce appetizer, is to die for. I had the Bolognese even though it was not on the menu on this evening. My wife had the Vongole. Both excellent. Desert was key-lime pie. Very different and also great. The ambience is beautiful. We ate in the garden room. Our waiter Tony was excellent and attentive. My husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary and since we were from out of town we were looking for a nice place to eat dinner and came across this delightful and quaint little restaurant and it was in walking distance from where we were staying. Casa Bella is beautifully decorated, the music was wonderful and had th as t romantic feel. Our waitress, Maria, was very professional and was very pleasant and knew her job. We ordered our food and it was delicious and the key lime pie was out of this world on a plate that had a flower and birds drawn on it with some edible icing...the atmosphere was very pleasant and if we are ever in Stuart,Fl again we will go back to Casa Bella...I will give it a 5 star...it was a very delightful evening... read more

Best Italian in stuart, great cozy environment a little date but I thinks that's it's character

I called in September to make reservations for Xmas Eve dinner. I was told that I was the first to call and Cheryl made the time for 6:00. Then I received a voicemail fromConnie about a month later saying they were doing three seatings and she put me at 6:30. I called her back to confirm that and a man answered whom I believe was the owner Jerry. I confirmed and asked him to please choose a pretty table for us and he assured me he would. I asked him to let Connie know I had returned her phone call. A week before Xmas Eve I called to confirm and again asked Jerry for a pretty table. He said " Oh we have you at a nice table don't worry!" When we arrived at Casa Bella it was 6:00 and we said we would sit outside. A very nice server named Michael let us order drinks and at 6:30 we expected to be seated shortly. As we sat there we watched couples and groups go in and never come out. We continued to be content to sit outside. If Michael had not been so kind and professional we would have left. A couple seated outside before we came, had drinks and a salad and waited for their entree. It came after they got up and left!!! About 1 and 1/2 hours after our reservation, we paid for our drinks and told Michael we were leaving. He said, " Come with me. I'll put you at my table." We went in and I can tell you I never saw such unhappy diners in my life. No laughter or smiles anywhere. No food either! We sat by the kitchen door! So much for a pretty table! Michael worked harder to make us happy than ANY other server I've ever had ANYWHERE!!! While he was running around serving everyone, the female servers and one male server kept huddling behind a curtain discussing seating. Michael was the only person we saw actually doing a competent job. We received our one roll which after our ordeal, was laughable. But we didn't laugh. My five year old grandson was falling asleep. Our meals came out around 8PM and the food was fair-good but small in portion. We noticed people who were seated before us were still waiting for entrees. We ate, paid the $200 bill and left. Management should do one thing first to avoid this fiasco from happening again. Give Michael a managing position and allow him to teach the "team" how to organize and serve a large crowd of hungry people. Our experience at Casa Bella was disappointing and that's a shame because we were going to make going there our family Xmas Eve tradition. Thank you Michael. You're a gem! read more
