We had left the air show and we were trying to figure out where to go have good pizza. We drive by the shopping center and I go to my husband., Oh wait. I want to try Renato's. I've heard great things about it. All I can say the pizza was amazingly great. We enjoyed it. The espresso martini was excellent. Our waiter was very attentive, did not get his name. My husband was asked to dance by an older lady and he had a great time. Then my daughter was walking by the band and the guitar player community asked her if she wanted to sing and she just sang away with the band. It was a great experience. Definitely on our list of fav restaurants! Met Josephine; she is a lovely lady.

This is an awesome spot if you are in the Stuart/ West Palm area. Atmosphere was amazing with live music from a talented singer. Complimentary toasted bread to start was buttery, hot and delicious. We had crab stuffed mushrooms as well as calamari for appetizers. Both were so delicious that they were eaten before I got a chance to snap a pic. I had Rigatoni Bolognese which was very delicious. My friends had Veal Saltimbocca, Chicken Marsala, and Chicken/ eggplant Parmesan combo. Everyone loved their food. Cocktails and wine were also great. Service was stellar. Nothing bad to say about the experience whatsoever. Met the owner after the meal and she was an absolute sweetheart. Definitely go here if you are craving an amazing Italian meal.

Off menu Veal Chop Parm

Nothing short of exceptional! Best Italian in Hutchinson Island / Stuart / Jenson Beach. We come here to celebrate December birthdays with a group of New Yorkers and Bostonians - think endless opinions and no chance for agreements....that said, we all agree on Renato and Josephine's! We prefer the elevated outdoor gazebo-ish setting to take advantage of the pleasant Floridian evenings. From there the service, right level of attentiveness fits just right to make the a sophisticated but relatively informal night out. The drinks work just fine and have a taste for all seasons....however the real action is when you move into appetizers and entrees. Don't skip the nimble hand of the pizza maker and order the large to fully test his craft. You will not be disappointed.....think New York thin, right amount of char but no burnt. I had to pinch myself to realize we weren't in Naples (Italy, C'mon). But wait, it only got better from there...riding a high from delighted synapses, who thought a perfect pie could do that.....but then we asked the thoughtful waiter if they could do the bone in veal chop parmagiana style. This is not to be confused with the standard veal parm....absolutely a different game. The waiter spoke to the Chef, Josephine's son, and he approved the off menu order as of he'd been expecting the question for some time. Well I'll be darned did he deliver.....see picture below and then stop reading and get yourself to Renato and Josephine's for the best Italian in the Sunshine State, Broader southeast and maybe even eastern seaboard.....watch out NYC and do not sleep on this off menu parmagiana....thank me later and Merry Christmas!

Crabcake

I had been looking forward to coming here for a while, but it was lots of hype for not much. My friend said the crab cake was good. Salad underwhelming. I chose the Carbonara but gluten-free. The sauce was super watery and when I asked for extra cheese, I was brought a shaker. An Italian restaurant without freshly-grated Parmesan is a big no-no for me. Be prepared to spend some money. Appetizers are priced at other places' entrees. And entrees are over $25. My dish was $29 and that was way overpriced for what I got. We sat not on the bar side where the music was too loud. I'm afraid to say, but likely not returning.

Ordered the rigatoni bolognese and it was rigatoni with meat sauce, not the long simmered sauce I expected.

They state that for the past 16 years they have used fresh ingredients in all their dishes and you'll notice that fact in every dish. The Ambiance: This lovely little restaurant reminds me of the bistro's I enjoyed in Venice. Get there early as it's always packed and there's not that many tables. They also offer several tables for outside dining. The Service: La Forchetta lost a star here as the service was slow and perfunctory at best. Our server couldn't seem to get her act together and seemed to be flustered by anything out of the norm. If I was to guess, having owned a few restaurants myself, I'd guess she was new and overworked having more tables than she could handle. The Food: A good sign of the quality of your meal is the quality of the salad and bread. Although this time we skipped the salad, the bread, or more precisely the garlic rolls featured the perfect balance of garlic butter and were good enough to be a meal unto themselves. After gorging on the rolls, we decided to share the calamari which turned out to be oh so crispy, and unlike so many other overly chewy offerings, was mouth watering tender. For our entrees, we chose the Penne pasta which was made al dente and featured a wonderfully robust bolognese sauce. Our second entree was the lobster filled raviolis which featured an amply filled fresh lobster covered in a creamy pink sauce. For desert we shared the house specialty tiramisu which was good but not necessarily memorable. The Bottom Line: As with all my reviews my "customer so what" would I come back... the answer is yes, because the food was so good, we'd try it again and hopefully the service would be up to the food.

Michelina's is your favorite Italian place on steroids. It's a good idea to make reservations and we were quickly seated at a nice table. The catch of the day was Snapper Francaise. I love this preparation whether it's on fish or chicken so it was an easy choice for me. Apparently my wife and one our friends agreed so our order was three Snapper Franchise and one Lasagna. I just about spent the entire meal raving about the snapper. My wife and friend agreed while our other friend was just as happy with his lasagna. Along with my entire' I had pasta fagoile which was just as excellent with a flavorful rich broth. This free-standing establishment has an elegant feel without the pretentiousness. With black and white modern decor and attentive staff, Pastaio's gave us a 5-star experience all around. Our server, Axel, was amazing - great suggestions, anticipated our needs but didn't hover. Our meal began with complimentary garlic bread that was warm, tasty and just plain good. My husband and I also ordered a salad - the burrata caprese - to split before our entrees came out. We gobbled up the dish quickly - it was fresh, colorful and light. For my entree, I ordered the spaghetti with marinara and my husband ordered the lasagna. We both truly loved our dishes - to the point that I joked that we would have to spend hundreds of dollars on Uber Eats to get this food to our house (3 hours away) whenever we craved Italian! It was like eating at one of the little neighborhood restaurants in NY. My negatives are the spotty service, the servers were 25 feet away and didn't seem to care to give a glance. My iced tea was made with tap water... Unfiltered and tasted horrible. Finally, the restaurant is cash only.
