There are only two single bathrooms, so be prepared for a bit of a wait there as well. And the drinks? Strong, delicious, and definitely did their job. I'd come back just for those alone!

They have a parking lot, so easy parking. I didnt make a reservation but walked in and was seated immediately. Dim lights and everything had a hint of purple to it. Definitely like the change from what it was before when crazy Cajun was there. Just a chill kick back spot for food and drinks and good music. I ordered catfish strips and some wings. Didnt realize it was happy hour for wings though, or else I would have got more. It did take a bit for the food to come out but it was hot, fresh and cooked to perfection when it did. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Only issue was I didnt understand the tab at first. In a digital world where we dont get to see the actual tab, I had to ask why it was the price it was. She told me tax, but when I got the actual receipt, it was actually because they added gratuity. I just think being transparent about that goes a long way, and I actually tipped 7% on top of the %15 already on there. Other than that, a really good experience and I would definitely go back for more food.

When we walked in she…read morerealized it wasn't the same restaurant she had been thinking about but we stayed and decided to check it out anyways. The day we went they had brunch, it wasn't too busy. You could definitely tell it was the community spot, everyone knew each other and it was genuinely good vibes. At the time we went (was a bit ago), it took a while for the waitress to get to us, as they were also the bartender. We did order drinks as well as split the chicken biscuit sandwich which came with fruit. Overall the sandwich was good. I'd definitely like to check out more of the menu. Drinks were good a well. The restaurant overall is nice, casual/classy vibes. They do have a parking lot & street parking.

We ordered a meal that came with potatoes steak bites and green beans (photo not included) Once it came we had to call them back and inquire as there were no green beans on the plate. It was brought out. 5 green beans. 5. That was just wild to us. I got the fish and spaghetti. That was a new experience. I haven't had fried salmon before. I did think it was fried well and the spaghetti had flavor. I did miss some type of veggie on the meal though.

The space is open for large and small groups. There is a seating area that occasionally requires VIP-like seating during peak hours of nightlife. Ample space parking. There is usually security in front entry way during peak hours checking for safety and doing the routine check upon entry. Drinks are usually reasonably priced. Sometimes they charge entry at the door if you come during the hours late night vibes. Only minor complaint is that some of the staff do not speak English too well. So don't feel slighted if you ask for an extra fork or paper plates and it does not arrive in time, or at all. Just find an employee who speaks English and they will cordially help you meet your needs.

On a Friday night there was $10 cover. The music was a mix of Afro and classic 80's and 90's. There are some pretty decent food options. One downside is some of the staff do not speak English so best to point or do what I did and show photos of what I wanted on my phone. Also I would like to see other people besides the African American community support this business. Also Free Parking!!!

Our server was great. Very nice and very helpful. Food was okay. Show was okay. But before the show…read morestarted the owner of Crooner's took the stage to welcome people. It would have been perfect to stop there. She then made a comment about immigrants and that all our welcomed. While I understand she was trying to to make a point it was not very sensitive to people who lost loved ones as a result of immigrants who were not deported after committing crimes and then ending up killing someone. Out of respect for the owner I did not ask her in front of all there whether she thinks the guy who killed the college student in Illinois last week would be welcomed. Or the guy who cut the innocent women's throat on public transportation last year. Would he be welcomed? My problem with statements Iike the one she made - either from the right or the left - is the this topic is much more nuanced. It is also very disrespectful to the families who have lost loves ones. I found it in very poor taste just like I would have if someone said up front that ALL immigrants should be deported. Very disappointing.

Food was wonderful. Our waiter was new and overwhelmed a bit but he did well. Music was outstanding. We had such a great time, I will definitely be back. Just a few logistical things that I didn't understand before I went. They have three different musical stages so pay attention to which venue you are booking if you care about being outside or inside. Our show started at 6pm, we arrived at 5:30pm and didn't get our food until after the show started. I'm not sure what time they start seating. You order off a full menu, it's not like a dinner/show package where you only have a few options. Lastly, there was a long line inside to be seated around 5:45pm. Seemed like they kept people waiting inline instead of seating them when they arrived.

After 20 minutes of not one single server stopping by to take our drink order or even greet us, we got up and walked out. Pour is in a little strip mall. They have added black curtains and some cozy seating areas from when we were here last. Nice updates. Our waitress was very accomdating until she got busy then we felt we were forgotten. We ordered the Drunken shrimp , bread with olive oil and the avocado toast to start with. The drunken shrimp is just as good as we remember the saffron sauce is sooooo good! but there were 3 of us sharing the apps and it only came with 2 crostini's we asked for a 3rd so we could each have one but little did we know that one very small skinny piece of bread had a $1.00 charge to it. The steak bites with their homemade blue cheese sauce was to die for melt in your mouth!! I even asked if we could buy some of the blue cheese sauce, she said no but that she would bring us another dish of it but she never did. My girlfriend ordered a cranberry mule drink, she was charged an extra $1.00 for the cranberry. We also ordered the goat cheese with sauces that were very delicious with an ample amount of crackers. We got the chocolate Ganache cake to share for dessert. But............ the waitress never took our empty dirty plates but showed up with the dessert with the mess on table, I asked for extra clean plates but she never brought them. Everything we ordered was very delicious, but as the night progressed our service got worse, we asked for the bill but she never came back to get our payment and we had questions my girlfriend walked it up to the bartender with our payments. 2 of us were paying cash and one a credit card and we were charged an extra fee of $5.18 for her using a credit card. That is when we saw the $1.00 charge for 1 piece 3/8" bread and the $1.00 for cranberry mule. Talk about nickel and diming. We would love to go back but unsure if I can get past some of these things. Also, now looking at the bill even closer, none of us had a mimosa and we were charged $8.95 for one.How did we miss that? All added up we paid $16.00 more than we should have. CRAZY!! Sadly, Don't know if I'll be back.
