The sign is enticing, as it always has a different flavor (or two) of soft serve each week. Last week I had the Pumpkin Pie & Lemon Custard swirled together, and it was insane. It reminded me a lot of Egg Nog, in a great way. They had a Cappuccino flavor that I really regret not trying a couple of weeks ago. I 'm going to pass by again today and needless to say, I'll probably stop and get a cone even if it's 40 degrees out. P.S. They also have tons of delicious-sounding Hershey's hard ice cream flavors, and the prices are reasonable. I got a small soft serve twist cone (which was a reasonable size - not Lilliputian and not gargantuan) for about $2.50. Totally normal prices, and the employees are friendly.

Now that we're living in The Catskills, my quest to find that similar market prototype I grew to love in Westchester, continues. I had forgotten hubs and I came here before during one of our bi-annual trips to The Catskills. Recently though, when I searched for produce markets near work in Highland, Wallkill View in New Paltz popped up within a short driving distance. As you drive past all of New Paltz bustling shops and restaurants on Main St, you'll soon approach a sleepy farmland area overlooking Mohonk Preserve in about 5 or so minutes. I've been hard-pressed to find a market that tops my favorite one in Westchester and checks all the boxes. Wallkill View grows and sells a nice mix of produce the area has to offer. And when veggies and fruit aren't grown on-site or in season, they're sourced from elsewhere. Unlike other farm markets that operate only Sat+Sun, Wallkill V. is open everyday. Well...almost. These folks shut down for Christmas and throughout the winter- reopening in March. Prices are about $1 more than what I paid down in White Plains- but hey... I get it. Service is great though.

Ever since I was a child, FroYo has been a bit of a passion of mine. There's just something special about a sweet cup of frozen cultured milk (translation: yogurt). Anyway, the diversity of the menu in Delish is actually very astounding. Personally I am biased towards the mindsquelching feeling of getting a cup of FroYo, however not everyone goes to a FroYo place wanting FroYo (apparently). If you have a less adventurous appetite, you'll go with a smoothie, Boba, or perhaps even an Açaí bowl. Oh the variety is quite impressive if I do say so myself! But that's not all, the service is pretty capital! The employees here totally embody the FroYo spirit, keeping this place whimsical & wonderful!
