Everything about me experience at this Carvel was a five star experience. The employees working were all very nice and very helpful. The store was nice and clean something that I always appreciate. I love that they had multiple coolers filled with all their goodies including all different shapes and sizes of their delicious ice cream cakes. They also had a cooler filled with slices of ice cream cake in case you're not looking for a whole cake. In addition, they sell several different types of ice cream sandwiches and my favorite chocolate and strawberry dipped ice cream cones. If you prefer an ice cream sundae with either strawberry, caramel or chocolate sauce on it they have coolers filled with them also. Of course they have their regular soft serve ice cream and also some hard ice cream with all the toppings you can imagine. They offer a special soft serve ice cream weekly and I heard that their cold brew ice cream is not to be missed! The staff here was the best thing, aside from the ice cream of course! Right when I walked in with my husband, the staff was attentive and ready to help us. I was offered a couple samples but decided on a soft serve of vanilla ice cream with some chocolate sprinkles! The price wasn't too bad, a small ice cream was $5 dollars and the sprinkles were an extra dollar but well worth it because they overloaded my cup with them! The ice cream was nice and smooth and had the perfect sweetness to it. The sprinkles rounded out the ice cream with a nice little crunch! The place was very clean and had much to offer, they even sell their awesome ice cream cakes that I want in the future for sure! So grateful that I don't have a single bad thing to say about this place. Upon walking in the worker walked from the back and greeted me very friendly and told me about a couple of the limited time flavors they had. I got to have a sample of the Biscoff ice cream and let me say it was heavenly with the perfect amount of flavoring in it. I decided that I wanted to do something original so I got a vanilla soft serve in a small size with some rainbow sprinkles. The sprinkles were 99 Cents extra but honestly justifiable because there was an insane amount of them on my ice cream for the toppings. The flavor of the ice cream was Heavenly and it was ridiculously creamy. There was a nice amount of sweetness and it didn't melt fast, even when I was sitting outside to enjoy it because there's no seats inside this place. The small ice cream is more than enough and at $5 it is very justifiable especially in this ridiculous Florida heat we have right now. They have multiple sizes that range from a kid's cup to a large and only about a dollar or so in difference for the sizes. For me the small was more than enough and it actually made me full! This location also has many items that you can grab and Go from Frozen booths. They have some really cute pre-made cakes that are ice cream! I didn't get to see how much they were but I can definitely believe they are worth the price! Marvel is still as good as I remember it. I used to get Carvel a lot more often. I did miss it. So.I decided to get a cup.of it. I am normally a fan of chocolate ice cream but Carvel had a really delicious vanilla. The lady who assisted me was very friendly. She was enthusiastic and took an interest in how I was doing. I thought the portion of ice cream was really generous. It was very refreshing and I was able to take some home for a treat later in the day. My favorite chocolate shake ever is Carvel's. There aren't too many actual stores left so I was so happy when I saw this one and of course had to stop for a shake. After we eat at CJ Blacks or Mr & Mrs Crab we always finish the night with this Carvel ice cream parlor. Parking is never an issue in this plaza. It is very busy every night but the line goes quick. Usually spotless however today the place was dirty and some toppings (strawberries) looked old and dirty. When brought to the attention of employee she shook her shoulders and agreed. SERVICE WAS GREAT! I was having a rough day and decided to get something to snack on. When I saw carvel I knew it was gonna be good. The store looked super clean and all the stuff were super sweet. A young women named Victoria helped me out.she was very polite and made my ice cream really fast. She also had told me that their ice cream was handmade which I loved. I asked her for some recommendations and she recommended me cookies and cream with Nutella. It was AMAZING. I 100% recommend coming here and getting their fresh and delicious ice cream. Whenever I hear Carvel, it always brings back memories of being back in high school and getting their milkshakes. For nostalgia's sake, I'm sad that the milkshakes aren't the same as they were back then. That being said, it's always exciting going into an ice cream store and looking at all the different flavors and trying to decide which one you want. It looks like they've been open for less than a week but you would never know by the way things ran so smoothly. When we entered, there were some groups of people and they were able to get everyone's orders filled pretty quickly without being frazzled (lol, at least it looked that easy). They have about 24 flavors of scooped ice cream, soft serve ice cream, sundaes, milkshakes, take home treats (ice cream bars, ice cream sandwiches, pints & quarts, ice cream cakes which includes their famous Fudgie the Whale, and even candles for your convenience. There are several tables set up outside where you can sit and enjoy your ice cream. I thought it was a nice touch that they walk around offering you wet wipes if you can't eat your ice cream fast enough before it starts melting! read more

This Carvel was like a blast from the past! We had a neighborhood Carvel growing up and I used to go there often for frozen treats with my family. I remember the nonstop commercials during the 70s and 80s. My husband recently saw a few of the commercials for the Fudgie the Whale cake and he kept telling me how he wanted one, so I when I received some Carvel coupons in the mail I decided to order one for Father's Day. When I arrived at the store on Sunday afternoon I had a few minutes to look around. I was happy to see that they had at least 20 flavors of hard ice cream, plus soft ice cream and lots and lots of toppings. They also had several freezer cases full of frozen ice cream cakes, single serve frozen treats, plus a whole case of Flying Saucers. (These are like traditional ice cream sandwiches made in a circle. In addition to the chocolate and vanilla ones they had many other flavors like Oreo, coffee, and mint chip.). My cake was ready as promised. The only problem was that the box did not fit in my freezer, so when I stored it vertically the writing got a little messed up.The taste was still fabulous, just as everyone remembered. There was a layer of vanilla ice cream and a layer of chocolate ice cream and there was a chocolate crunchy topping in the center. (They sent me home with an entire container of additional chocolate crunchy topping.). The cake also had a thick layer of chocolate fudge on top. It was definitely the best part of our Father's Day meal. Now that I know we have a Carvel so close by I will have to stop by again and pick up some of those Flying Saucers! They also had another great promotion that I remembered from my college days....."Wednesday is Sundae at Carvel". This a BOGO ice cream sundae event every Wednesday that is awesome! read more

2-23-22 12:30pm In the mood for great ice cream so I sought out the closest Carvel. Very happy as well as surprised that 45+ years later they still have two for one sundaes on Wednesday's. I loved it as a kid and loving it more now. So I head on over to this shopping center not one I ever went to in the past. It is one exit from where I work off of 595. Upon entering the store it is immaculate and new a first for me. To say it was so clean you could eat off the floors is an understatement. I had the medium sized soft chocolate ice cream with strawberry topping for my sundae this included whipped cream and a cherry on top. The associate put in a bigger cup to accommodate the strawberry sauce. I never enjoyed it as much. I sat outside in the table and chairs provided. It was just a slice of heaven. After a warm night listening to music outdoors we couldn't think of a better place to end our evening! Carvel is a return to my childhood up in NYC. My coffee flying saucer did not disappoint! This new location has a friendly staff and it is kept immaculately clean. It looks like they did reinvent themselves a little bit. We were never offered the choice of ordering scooped ice cream! It was soft serve only. Not sure if I will ever go that route but I guess for those who are not that familiar it is a good alternative. Today I had to go to the store and it was really hot and was with my service dog. He loves ice cream and especially whipped cream is his favorite. It is my mom's 65th birthday and I had plans for a custom cake to be delivered to her. Those plans were dropped by the person to bring the cake last second and I was so beyond saddened. I thought last minute to see if I could place a delivery order for another cake. The delivery service does not allow for any cake, customization, and I was aware of that policy, but thought it was worth a shot to try and contact the store to see if they would make an exception. Liz, the owner of this Carvel location and Anthony Not only listened to my panic about not being able to get this for my mom, but went out of their way to customize the cake and send me a picture of it. Since I am out of town, this was the only thing I could do that I knew my mom would love And they were able to make that happen. I cannot put into words my gratitude, because it would've been very simple to say it's just policy that they can't accommodate that.
