Recently, I had a tree cut down by "Tree Service". Initially, everything seemed to go well with…read moretaking down the tree. Unfortunately, that is not the way things ended up with the issues afterwards. The yard cleanup was not very thorough. If a better yard cleanup would have been done, they certainly would have noticed that a piece of their equipment was left behind in my yard. The other issue, which I didn't notice until the next day, was that they had caused a large crack in my sidewalk when they backed their truck onto my yard. I called them that day regarding the equipment piece left and the cracked sidewalk. At that time, I asked if the cracked sidewalk was something that they covered and was told it was. Also, that day, someone from the company came over to pick up equipment and to take pictures of the sidewalk crack. He informed me that someone from the company would be contacting me. Since that time, I've called 2 more times and left 2 more messages. It has now been over 3 wks. and there has been absolutely NO RESPONSE from Tree Service. If you have a problem, you will be completely ignored. I truly regret choosing Tree Service to do the job and I definitely would not recommend them.

Todd came out and evaluated the situation within a week and gave me a fair quote. Once I accepted the quote, Todd said they could fit me in two days later if that worked for me. They said they would arrive late morning, no later than 12 noon and they were right on time at 10:30 AM. Todd was there along with a crew of three other guys which included A bucket truck which they did not need, a dump truck with a chipper on the back and a third truck towing a trailer which had a small gator type vehicle with a giant grasping metal hand on the end. One guy worked with a gator type vehicle to pull up three big bushes I wanted removed while the other two guys went to work on the big blue spruce and quickly brought it down safely and dismantled it and shredded it in less than an hour Everyone on the team was super pleasant, and they really did a great job cleaning up all the dust, wood chips and debris before they departed. The large divets/tracks they left in my yard are are a Fall Hazard. They won't even call me back to fix what they destroyed. The damaged tree is hanging by a thread, and it can kill someone if it falls. They came out and did an estimate on the wrong tree (the neighbor's tree that was already on the ground). They claimed that I had said something about "a tree on the ground" in my initial discussion. This was not the case. They did not reply for an entire week, until finally sending me an email saying that the "schedule is full for the season" and they won't be able to do this work. So, they gave an estimate, but when they realized they made an error, they no longer wanted the job. Not a great look. I'm very frustrated, as I was hoping to establish a longterm business relationship with them for landscaping services. Bummer. Don't bother calling them.

When I inquired as to why they sent out an estimator and a contract but did not intend to complete the job, this was the response :" The decision was made after evaluating the project and determining that it was a bit small scale for our team." I have used Town and County several times over the years at several different properties. Some…read morebig and small trees here and there but always tucked in a tight spot. The most resent tree was defiantly one of the bigger ones, it was 7 Silver maples that had grown together, rotten in the middle and holding water in the center.....and it was dangerous. The owner stopped out several days prior to scheduling the take down to make sure the ground could handle a Crane Truck, Bucket Truck and Chipper Truck. Good thing he did , because its like a swamp in that area of the yard, but needless to say he came in with all those trucks when the land was dry and the giant tree was gone by noon . There was no trace left behind, no clean up for us, no ruts in the yard- the only difference was the tree (s) were gone . Excellent cleanup
