THIS PLACE IS A SCAM! NOT ONLY DID THEY LIE ABOUT THE TIME IT WOULD TAKE THEY DAMAGED/CRASHED MY CART AND DID A HORRIBLE JOB ON THE WORK THEY DID COMPLETE. IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING USING CARTS ON 12 FOR SERVICE, PARTS OR A PURCHASE FOR YOUR SAKE PLEASE DONT! I called them and asked if they could install a factory provided light kit on a $20K Bintelli. They said no problem and it would be done in a day or two (dealer says their techs install in 45 min) After being told it would be done "next week" and calling weekly for 6 weeks I showed up amd asked to see my cart and what had been done. I FOUND MY CART COVERED IN MUD IN A FIELD SITTING IN YHE RAIN ALONG WITH THE PARTS I BROUGHT THEM TO INSTALL. WORSE OFF IT WAS FULL OF MICE THAT HAD CHEWED THROUGH ALL OF THE WIRES IN THE DASH. Just to remind all this a 6 month old $20K custom cart and this is how Ed and Carts on 12 treated my property. Ed assured me they would repair all the damage, detail the cart, compltet the work and deliver it to me in 3 days...well 4 days later, I received a dirty cart, that had been backed into something with an installation that my child could ha e done better. Giant holes, no screws in the lights, wires hanging under my frame, missing fasteners and parts previously installed at the factory and they had backed it into something scratching the rear bumper and breaking the plate lamp. I canceled the measly $500 check that I paid him with once I had inspected the cart and am taking it to a real mechanic to have it repaired. Sent him documentation of what he did and this POS has the nerve to threaten me with legal action and has contacted/messaged my wife (who was not involved here at all) online. Point is Ed is a liar and their, their techs are unskilled at best and he treats his customers and their property like trash. STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM CARTS ON 12 AS YOU CAN!!!!! read more

I purchased my first golf car from Carts on 12 . I bought a Tomberlin. I was very pleased with the vehicle and I believe I got it at a fair price. When I got it home, there seemed to be some problems with the charger and I called for warranty service. I was very pleased to see the response of the Carts on 12 mechanic as he arrived within the hour. The problem was repaired and I have had no problems since. Speed up your electric golf cart!!! Last month I upgraded the motor on my 2012 Club Car Precedent with a high performance motor offered by Carts on 12, and WOW what a difference. Before the upgrade, on flat ground my cart would cruise at about 16-17 mph (according to my Waze app). On longer/steeper hills it would climb at about 12 mph. Now, with the new motor I'm cruising at 22-23 mph, and climbing at 14-16 mph. I don't understand how it works, something to do with improving the electric fields in the motor. And, it wasn't necessary to change the wiring or controller, just the motor. The best part is, for a few Benjamins I've got more speed, better climbing, and great performance all around. I was on the fence for months, trying to decide whether to go for this upgrade. My wife and kids made the decision easy by gifting it to me for Father's Day. Now I drive around with a grin on my face, and have to slow down for corners. read more

I wouldn't even give this company a single star. The worst combination in a business- all promises and talk, with dishonesty, awful customer service and NO delivery!!! I heard from word of mouth that this company was bad news, too late. My husband put $3,500 down on a golf cart designed to run on sand to carry disabled family members from the house, over a dune hill and to the beach. (And back). This written agreement was made end of June. Ed assured us it would be ready AND delivered in 2 weeks. We didn't hear from anyone. In 3 and 4 weeks, the end of July, my husband got through to someone who said he knew nothing about it but would have Ed call. He didn't. My husband called back and spoke to Ed, who explained he was having trouble getting the four wheel drive. My husband was calm and just told him to just COMMUNICATE. Just let us know if there is a delay. He said two more weeks tops. There weeks later, middle or third week of August.... nothing. I emailed Ed. I explained about how my dad and sister have not been to the beach this summer. That we chose his company because of the quick manufacturing time. (It's more pricey than other golf cart places). I wrote that I was not sure my dad would be alive next year. I then stated I understood unavoidable delays, but we still haven't heard from him AGAIN, and I needed information so I could make a decision to get a cart somewhere else to get a couple weeks out of this summer with my dad. This man DID NOT RESPOND. My husband called ANOTHER week later and voiced his frustration. Ed then said he would deliver a temporary golf cart we could use in the meantime. Great! Right? WRONG!!!!! I waited with my dad in my home for two hours for them to deliver the cart. Then I called. He said "We dropped it off a while ago." I look in the street...and there is a cart, THAT DOES NOT DRIVE ON SAND. I call Ed back and ask 1- why would you deliver a cart, not notify the customer? Knock on the door or call? Leave the keys sitting there??? And 2- Why did you bring me a cart that can't go on sand? When I ordered a cart to go on sand? Ed responded very rudely, angrily "I NEVER knew WHY you needed the cart or HOW you were going to use it!" I replied Ed, we explained over and over about it's use. You were getting special sand tires. You explained to US how to get a permit for use ON THE BEACH. I even have it in writing on our receipt and in my email that I sent you. He raised his voice and denied knowing. Nine weeks. Not one call, email or notification of a delay. No returning of calls or emails. False promises without delivery. Lying to customers. Arguing with and being disrespectful to customers. If anyone reads this, PLEASE do NOT give this company your business!!! You will regret it! I have a family friend, who doesn't want to be named, who bought and stores with Ed and this company. He told me, after I shared my story, that he regrets buying because he is stuck storing his cart in the winter. Every winter, something "breaks" or needs to be repaired or replaced. Be very careful doing business with this company! They quoted me one price then charged me a different price. They told me the cart would be delivered one day, then it was delivered a day late. And they were bad about responding to emails and phone calls. Some were ignored entirely. Leading me to believe it would be one price, they took my credit card number over the phone with a verbal agreement and, despite several attempts from me to reach them via email and phone, I did not hear back from them until after the higher charges appeared on my card. Be sure to get a price from them, in writing!, before giving them your credit card number. I attempted to resolve the problem on my own with the owner, but he wouldn't budge, so now I have to dispute the charges using my credit card company. It was not a good place with which to do business. p.s. This is my very first one-star review... EVER. I really don't know how they have stayed in business so long if they operate like this. read more
