I called three days later, but he said he needed another two days to give me exact details about the problem along with a price estimate. We agreed on two days, and I actually ended up waiting a week just to give them more time. So an entire week went by, and all I got was the answering machine. I even drove by in person and the shop was always closed during business hours. There was no sign on their door/window or message on the answering machine giving an explanation. A second week went by and still no answers, so I decided to ask the shop next door and thats when I finally found out he went on vacation for several weeks. I eventually had to wait an additional two weeks until finally his sister answered my call. When I came in to get it, nothing had been done. I even had to return back and wait for her to look for my screws because she had returned it with all the screws on the bottom missing (the bottom cover was unattached). Long story short- it was extremely unprofessional for them to have not notified their customers that they would be closing for several weeks, ESPECIALLY if holding on to items for repair. I had to wait a whole month to retrieve my MacBook again, and nothing was resolved.
