Cart'n Tacos were the perfect caterer for our wedding! We had a small wedding with less than 50 people in Newport Beach and John was so easy to work with. He was thorough, quick to respond to email/calls, and very friendly! My coordinator even said "Your caterer is legit by the way!". The food was really tasty and we literally ate leftovers for breakfast, lunch, and dinner the next day. Perfect hangover cure haha! I was out taking pictures when they arrived and set up but they never had to ask me anything during the entire day. They took care of it all and we were very grateful. My only wish would be to have a tasting prior to booking cause we were a little unsure about how the food would taste. John was so responsive on the Internet quote receiving a response within an hour (which usually takes 24+ hours). He was extremely professional and competitively priced. The professional set up and the cart appearance far exceeded my expectation. The food quality was among the best I've ever tasted. The great food became a huge conversation piece. John reached out immediately to nail down all the details and go over our options with me. He was friendly, professional, and very thorough. I love how they take care of absolutely everything so you don't have to think about it! They showed up early and I was way to scatterbrained (party hosting brain ) to be of any help, but he found the perfect spot to set up, started cooking, and made my party a complete success. I was placed in charge of setting up catering for my office's 1st annual Christmas Party. Almost all of our employees are Mexican, so my boss thought that tacos would be a safe bet for food that everyone would like. The problem with that, is that the food better be pretty good or it would be inauthentic to our staff. I know of some phenomenal local Mexican restaurants, but many of them did not provide catering, and the ones that did were way too expensive for us as we were expecting 80 guests. I did a lot of research looking for taco catering with good reviews, reasonable pricing and photos of the food. I thought Cart'n Tacos food looked really clean and decided to add it to my list for making calls. John was so friendly and informative over the phone. He broke every single thing down for me so that it was easy to understand what we would be getting and how it would all take place. After many phone calls to compare other catering and a discussion with my boss, we decided to go with John. One of the main reasons was the conversation that I had with him. I felt like he wasn't cutting any corners to save money and that he wanted to provide the best possible experience. He also told me about where he gets his meat from and the quality of it, which is extremely important to me. I despise eating meat that is gristly or of poor quality. Our party was a huge success, largely in part to John and his crew! Everything was ready right on time, the food was fresh and there was plenty of it! John really had to hustle because we had a hungry crowd, but he kept the line moving quickly. Everything that was provided was exactly as described and the leftovers were packaged up for us.
