In the past, I've purchased two bracelets for myself and gifts for others. All of us are very content with the quality of our pieces. I am very mindful of how I store my jewelry so I keep my pieces in their perspective pouches. Needless to say, I haven't experienced any issues with discoloring, tarnishing, et cetera. The store's layout is interesting. I enjoy the massive interior case that mimics a bar as the salespeople are behind the counter. It's is very well organized with the jewelry sectioned off by color, theme, etc. (ex. dolphins, pearls, silver, and so on). In addition to the interior rectangular showcase, there are separate display cases where shoppers can peruse and touch. The staff at JR Benet are extremely friendly and accommodating. My friend and I shopped in January when we went to see the holiday lights and we spent a lot of time looking and trying on the merchandise. They were so patient and never made us feel rushed. We both left with jewelry for ourselves and others. It was a pleasant experience and I'm excited to return later this month when I'm in town. This shop will hold a special place in my heart forever!…read more When I was shopping, my boyfriend stumbled upon this place and surprised me by getting my ring reshaped from its very smooshed oval shape back into a circle. He was chatting with Leonard about his projects, and having a good time distracting him from getting his work done, I'm sure, but Leonard was very nice and answered all of his questions. He told us how he makes jewelry and about his different tools, which was fun to learn about. While we were there, Leonard pointed out how delicate my ring had become over the years of wear. It was very thin and starting to separate in places, so reshaping it was tricky. He showed me under a microscope where the ring was worn down. My dad got me the ring in Mexico on my 16th birthday, and I've worn it everyday since then. I'm in my 30's now, for reference...it's been on my hand for over than half of my life. My dad passed away, so I need this ring to last. I asked if he could fix it, and he did me one better: he said he could make a mold of it and create a copy, but make it a bit thicker so it would last longer. That way, I can put my prized ring somewhere safe, but still have one to wear without worrying about it breaking. I just got the new ring back today, and it's absolutely perfect! Did I tear up when I opened it? Maybe.... Thank you so much Leonard! I will definitely be coming back. You've made my 2024!!! I tried to contact them but got what is now a corporate AI feel answering service when initially I had continued to come for the family feel. I dug a little deeper and was able to text a message and did get a reply that they would make the mistake right but was told because someone was spending a large amount of money in Jewerly my fix would be pushed back to after the holiday. I was also told to wait a year since people gain and loose weight. Anyway, now 6 months later due to an illness I've returned just to be questioned as if I'm making something up. I was asked what size, but isn't that their job to size my finger and then fix the size of my rings? I guess I was wrong. Honestly the uncomfortably I felt just sent me walking out. I had also finally brought in my deceased relatives Jewerly not knowing what any of it is. We started one piece at a time in which I was told previously to drop off my things, they'd look through it and tell me what I had. I was wrong.
