I received gifts from this place and I also purchased a few nice items (silver) when in the area. It's long lasting jewelry. Very cute and nice designs. Be very careful bringing jewelry or gold here to sell. I brought in a necklace, and the lady…read moreworking behind the counter told me it was completely fake. She then immediately turned around and asked me to sell it to her privately for $10 'for her son.' I felt uncomfortable and took it to another shop for a second opinion. When you are with a group of friend and someone wants to try things, the music is blasting! So if you are bothered by loud noises I wouldn't go in this place. I also, have mixed feeling about the items. I do think that some things can be overpriced but somethings are really cute and feel unique. I know that these shops are going to be more money because it is a tourist spot, but sometimes things are little crazy IMO. If you are looking for cute gifts you can find something for 20 bucks but if you want a dress get great to spend around 100 on one thing.

Easy to find; located on the main shopping walkway off George St. Walked right in and greeted. They were friendly, explaining the process and offering suggestions on the type of jewelry given where you were planning to wear it. Also explained their warranty--jewelry is covered should it break or should you need to have it taken off for surgery or something. If you are not nearby you can work it out to ship to them and they'd even put a clasp on it so you could wear. Based on experience of another place that we have been to for permanent jewelry that broke, this warranty is awesome! Easy process of getting the jewelry put on. Cost me $202 for 1 anklet (sterling silver) with a charm and 1 bracelet ( rose gold) with 2 charms. This is cheaper than what I paid before at another place when we were in Hawaii. Overall good experience.

This store seems very cluttered (some may say well-stocked, lol.) So much so, that it is difficult to get a cart through the aisles. My first visit, I brought a cart in from outside that seemingly had been left out in the parking lot by another patron. I thought I was doing something good. Contrary to my belief, an employee came over to me aggressively telling me that I couldn't use that cart inside the store. She demanded that I take my infant granddaughter out of the seat so that she could take that cart to their back room. This was NOT a good first impression for me! It took me several months to revisit! At the time of my last visit, it was most certainly not ADA compliant. It was still very crowded /cluttered throughout most sections of the store.

It's a really neat shop and is a must-visit, don't get me wrong. There's so much to see here and there are a lot of cool pieces to look at. However, if you're a collector like myself, you will be shocked by the price gouging. I have an extensive rock collection and I already own a lot of the rocks offered here, so when I saw the prices doubled if not tripled, I gasped. For example, I own a beaver skull and it cost me maybe $40. At Prehistoric Florida, that beaver skull is marked up well over $100. I also own a cave bear paw that cost $600...here at Prehistoric Florida, that cave bear paw is marked at over $1200. So while I enjoyed browsing, I was bummed that I wasn't going to buy anything due to the high prices.
