In the past, I've purchased two bracelets for myself and gifts for others. All of us are very content with the quality of our pieces. I am very mindful of how I store my jewelry so I keep my pieces in their perspective pouches. Needless to say, I haven't experienced any issues with discoloring, tarnishing, et cetera. The store's layout is interesting. I enjoy the massive interior case that mimics a bar as the salespeople are behind the counter. It's is very well organized with the jewelry sectioned off by color, theme, etc. (ex. dolphins, pearls, silver, and so on). In addition to the interior rectangular showcase, there are separate display cases where shoppers can peruse and touch. The staff at JR Benet are extremely friendly and accommodating. My friend and I shopped in January when we went to see the holiday lights and we spent a lot of time looking and trying on the merchandise. They were so patient and never made us feel rushed. We both left with jewelry for ourselves and others. It was a pleasant experience and I'm excited to return later this month when I'm in town. Be sure to checkout the manmaids above the counter when you checkout.

This shop will hold a special place in my heart forever!…read more When I was shopping, my boyfriend stumbled upon this place and surprised me by getting my ring reshaped from its very smooshed oval shape back into a circle. He was chatting with Leonard about his projects, and having a good time distracting him from getting his work done, I'm sure, but Leonard was very nice and answered all of his questions. He told us how he makes jewelry and about his different tools, which was fun to learn about. While we were there, Leonard pointed out how delicate my ring had become over the years of wear. It was very thin and starting to separate in places, so reshaping it was tricky. He showed me under a microscope where the ring was worn down. My dad got me the ring in Mexico on my 16th birthday, and I've worn it everyday since then. I'm in my 30's now, for reference...it's been on my hand for over than half of my life. My dad passed away, so I need this ring to last. I asked if he could fix it, and he did me one better: he said he could make a mold of it and create a copy, but make it a bit thicker so it would last longer. That way, I can put my prized ring somewhere safe, but still have one to wear without worrying about it breaking. I just got the new ring back today, and it's absolutely perfect! Did I tear up when I opened it? Maybe.... Thank you so much Leonard! I will definitely be coming back. You've made my 2024!!! They have various types of jewelry that are replicas of famous actresses and even replicas of some Tiffany pieces. Some of the gemstones are real, some are not, it just depends on the piece. Some of the jewelry is sterling silver and other pieces are sterling silver plated over rhodium (primarily the rings). I'm not very fond of the pieces that are plated over rhodium because I know it will wear off and turn over time. However, I am quite fond of sterling silver... especially sterling silver earrings. They have quite the selection of sterling silver earrings and the day I was here they happened to having a sale on them and they were all half price. I picked up two lovely pairs of sterling silver earrings for a total (with tax) of $46 and change. http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/filthy-rich-st-augustine?select=_yGnLF_1dqmg9PrFpXHVRA#cKAV95eMcf0zm-fEgSfFVQ & http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/filthy-rich-st-augustine?select=_yGnLF_1dqmg9PrFpXHVRA#MagotC9pnP7kd8dK_Ozd-A I am quite pleased with my purchases! My friend also picked up a ring and a sterling silver replica Tiffany bracelet. The difference I noticed was the weight was much lighter than an actual Tiffany piece. I wear a sterling silver Tiffany ring which is square and they had a square replica Tiffany ring which I looked at. My actual Tiffany ring was much heavier than the replica. But, if you want to wear a piece that looks like Tiffany but can't afford Tiffany prices, this is the place to come. Couldn't have asked for better customer service. I will definitely return here again for more sterling silver earrings.
