She discovered I have macular degeneration after several doctors couldn't diagnose my vision problems and got me into the retina center that morning. Smart, kind, patient. This year I said maybe I'll order my glasses here also, usually I go to Costco. When I started to look the lady came over and asked if I needed help. I told her yes and she asked about my insurance. The young man that just did my vision payment brought her my insurance sheet she glanced and said you have "Spectera, that is not good insurance ". That just made me say to myself, okay can't get classes here. She continued to say my insurance is very bad, her words. I was looking at Oakley frames and she said your insurance will not cover Oakley, you have spectera. I told her I have had the same insurance for years and didn't know it was bad and I guess I am going back to Costco. I asked her are you sure my insurance is that bad. She said, yes, spectera does not cover many things. At Costco the guy said my insurance covers a lot of things why she would say it was bad he did not know. I will continue to go here for exam but will always go somewhere else to get glasses and contacts

We talked about eye Health and the Doctor is knowledgeable and makes you feel very comfortable. I would suggest him to anyone and if you pay out of Pocket as we did as our Insurance is there but hasn't been set up yet, it's wasn't expensive at all. The Office Manager Nick is thorough with Insurance (and we all know Insurance is complicated). He's really good on the phone and setting up appointments and answering questions. We plan to go in and get glasses once our Insurance is properly set up by Employer. Dr Babbington Senior is very part time and his Son is there all the time. He worked with his Dad growing up in the Practice then came in as a Doctor so he knows his stuff. I highly recommend them. I also appreciated the mask wearing and cleaning during this time.

Over the years, I've learned a few things about Dr. Dennis Keyhoe. First, call him Dennis. Second, he's a dedicated Minnesota Vikings fan. Third, and most importantly, the team he has built at Viking Vision feels more like family than a medical office. From the moment you walk in, you're treated with professionalism, respect, and genuine friendliness. The entire staff does an excellent job of making patients feel welcome and comfortable. They're knowledgeable, efficient, and clearly enjoy what they do. Dennis is also great at connecting with people. If you follow Viking Vision on Facebook, you've probably seen his personality shine through. As engaging as he is online, he's even better in person. He has a knack for making an eye appointment feel less like a chore and more like catching up with an old friend. You don't need to be a Vikings fan to appreciate Viking Vision. Just be prepared for some quick 20/20 wit, exceptional eye care, and the possibility of gaining a lifelong friend along the way.

My personal opinion is that Seth is a great optometrist, cordial, pleasent and friendly. His new office is welcoming, and everyone there is nice, accommodating and makes you feel at home. Since most every Doctors office feels uncomfortable, for perhaps the first few visits, I've never felt that way here. I'm a diabetic, and his compatance is reassuring and a comfort. The most beneficial thing to know is that he takes the time to visit with you, and carefully explains,, after his assistants do tests even in the back of your eyes, to see what's going on with your peepers He accepts insurance, as does the (glasses shop) there. I appreciated the way I felt leaving after my appointment, and though it's up to me to care for myself as a diabetic, I plan on coming here for many many years! So, if it's your first visit to an eye doctor, you need a new optometrist, or wish to get a second opinion, Seth is young, well trained and consistently has a great bedside manor! My vision was terrible, but the day after my procedure, I was already seeing better than 20/20. After about 15 years, my vision began to decline again. I remembered that they offered a future enhancement if needed, so I returned in 2024. Fortunately, I was a good candidate for the PRK procedure. Just like before, the staff was incredibly friendly, informative, thorough and walked me through every step of the process, from what to expect during recovery to the results I could anticipate. For the second procedure, I had to space out each eye, but I'm thrilled to have my sharp vision back. Both of my parents and several friends have also had LASIK at Coleman, and everyone has had a fantastic experience. I would absolutely recommend Coleman Vision to anyone considering LASIK, they are 5 stars in every aspect!
