They repaired my car back to its original condition and gave me a time frame of 2 and a half weeks. Throughout the time that they had my car, I got text message updates to keep me updated on the progress and timeline. It took exactly two and a half weeks to repair my car and I was so shocked that they actually detailed the inside and outside of my car for me as well. Abysmal experience. Brought my brand new 2023 Honda Civic Touring (1518 miles) in for a routine repair that was supposed to take 2-3 days. I was told the vehicle was ready after 5 days and I went to pick it up. The paint did not match and the blend on the hood and door had glitches. I left the vehicle for them to fix properly. After another week or so, I was told the vehicle was ready so I once again went to get it. The paint job was better still not perfect, but I could not waste any more time there. The interior of my brand new car wreaked of paint and body shop and lost that new car smell. There was dust and prints all over the inside. The underside of the hood was splashed with paint and sanding debris. As if that wasn't bad enough, I had 1518 miles on it when I dropped it off and when I picked it up almost 3 weeks later, it had 1700 miles on it. The shop could not explain who had been driving my vehicle for three weeks. Stay away from this shop. They will make your new car old and take joy rides in it. read more

I took my car for repair after someone rear ended me. This was one of the collision center that was referred to by State Farm Insurance. They were all good and courteous when I took it in. When the insurance company called to let me know they were going to total it, because the work was more than the 72% they allow themselves as to what the car is worth. Once they found out I wasn't going to have the work done by them, as the insurance company just sent me a check instead. He then got an attitude and started talking over me to what I was trying to tell him. I told him I wanted the car back just the way I brought it in. He went on to tell me that they don't put it back together if they considered it total. I explained to him, that was just a term for the insurance to use, as he could see that it wasn't totaled. He went on to say that they get paid to tear apart, not put things back. Well, they somewhat put it back with certain parts missing and left the wiring off of the tail lights. Didn't realize it until the next day after I picked it up. I called them to let them know, he then proceeds to get an attitude with me. I would not recommend Car Star Collision to anyone, as they do not know anything about customer service, unless it benefits them. read more

I've been a customer of Mr Collision for over 20 yrs. The customer service and the quality of work is impeccable.

I have my own mobile detailing business and am very familiar with the generally very poor paint and body work available at car dealers and chain body shops. I can spot shoddy work and even average paint/body work from several feet away. Excessive orange peel, color mismatches, over-spray and buffer swirls are all the tell-tale signs of poor paint work. With Mister Collision, that isn't an issue. I've sent several customers to him and in every case, finding the exact area of repair is extremely difficult without getting right up on the car and going over it very carefully and that included a Maxima that had to have a new back half welded in. Even in the door jambs, the repair was invisible. I've taken my own cars to him as well since I've finally found a body shop that is just as picky about their work as I am about mine. I had a 1990 Honda Accord repaired by Mister Collision in 1999. Someone turned left in front of me and took out the front end of my car. The repaired area looked terrific and still did in 2004 when I sold the car. In the spring of last year (2010), I was driving by a tire store and noticed an Accord that looked like my old one-same wheels, tint and nose bra. Pulled in and sure enough, it was my old Accord. By now the car was 20 years old and the clear coat was pretty much gone on the roof and trunk lid. However, the 11 year old repainted front end that was done by Mister Collision still looked great! I took my car in to Mr Collision, as they were referred by my insurance adjuster. Troy checked in my car on Jan 24, 2019, at 10am. Troy gave me papers to fill out in reference to my vehicle, and as I was going to get the mileage, he stated he will get that info, take pics and send them by email. I did receive the pics, of the vehicle breakdown. Obviously there was NO check engine light on, when the mileage was checked, or when the car was driven back for repairs. On Feb 5, I picked up my vehicle. When I got in my vehicle, my check engine light was on. I immediately went inside to tell David, my check engine light is on, but it was not on, when my car was brought in. David, replied I just brought your car up, and the person who worked on your car Troy is sick, and will be back tomorrow, but sometimes they have to unplug things for repair. I explained I will be calling back on this, because I did not have any check engine light on, when I dropped my car off. I left Mr Collision, and drove to a library, in Irving. When I left the library I drove to Starbucks on 183 and Story Rd. I was in the drive through and looked down and my temp gauge was all the way to the H. I immediately turned my car off, and called Mr. Collision. The owner - Aldo Amighola answered, and I explained to him, the check engine light was not on, when I brought my car in, and I told David, earlier. My car is running hot, and I just picked it up, today. He said, we only repaired the bumper on your car. I asked about electrical, because the right tailights had to be unplugged in order to repair. I had to jump out of my car while in the Starbucks drive through. There was smoke, a loud pop and fluid running from the car. Two gentlemen in the trucks behind me, got out to see if I was okay, and offered to push my car out of the drive, after the cars in front moved. I started my car and immediately got to a parking spot. I called Aldo Amighola, and told him what happened. He said we fixed your bumper, are you trying to blame us. I again explained, my car had NO check engine lights on it, when I dropped it off. He said we fixed your car and even washed it for you. I replied, I really don't give care if you washed my car, because I am stranded. He then asked if I wanted to tow the car, I told him you can tow it, and then I told him I would call him back, because one of the gentlemen had come over to let the hood up, for my car to cool off. I took pics of antifreeze all over everything, under the hood. When I called Aldo back he told me, he was leaving a message for Troy. I called the next morning, and Troy said he does not know why the light was on, because they did not drive it. Troy then told me to call the insurance company to see if they would reopen my claim, because the check engine light came on. I called Shannon at the insurance company that paid to have my car repaired. I was told by Shannon, I could have my car towed back to Mr Collision. I would have to have a diagnostic, because my claim was closed, and they would have to know if this was something Mr Collision, is responsible for. In the meantime, I had to leave my car, and get a ride home. I missed a day of work, and had to pay to get my car towed and repaired. I was out of $270, and Mr. Collision should have taken the responsibility. I would not recommend Mr Collision to anyone who wants assurance in good business practices. Aldo Amighola, this is NOT the way. You should listen, understand, before defending wrong-doing by your business. No one should be treated this way!!!! I wouldn't recommend you to my worst enemy, for one my paint job sucked, it looks like orange peel in some places & running in others. Their was additional damage done to my car by your employee who admitted it. I was told it would all be handled & to my surprise , 2 weeks later Aldo @ Mister Collision advised me that I'm a liar & nothing is getting fixed? Then to top it off, Im told i have to pay for the rental car they provided for "FREE" before they will release my car to me...That alone speaks for itself. I would hate for any other consumer to experience what I did due to me not sharing this horrific experience!... For your information, I'm not one to put bad reviews unless the experience merits it! I was treated very respectfully and Tony, the gentleman that was helping me with my vehicle, explained everything to me and made sure that I understood everything that was going on. I have had my vehicles repaired here for years. I live near downtown and don't like to venture too far outside of 635. This place is in no way a convenient location to me. But it is the ONLY body shop that I will trust my car to. I also own an insurance agency and I would recommend Mister Collision to anyone who has damage to their vehicle. They do great work and customer service is a top priority to the owner. They have a top of the line paint booth that will leave a Mercedes with better looking paint than when it rolled off the assembly line. This has been one of the best experiences I have had with a business in a long time. They are extremely courteous, professional, and fast. Mr. Collision repaired my front bumper and buffed out some minor scratches after a hit and run. The work was beautiful, but more importantly the service was outstanding. They picked up my car (which was a great convenience to me) and quickly made repairs. The excellent service begins with the front desk and ends with the owner giving valuable tips. Recently my 2015 Mustang was in an accident (don't worry, no cars and coffee visitors were run over). After my last experience with a body shop (Sheer Metal in Plano -- you can find my review also on yelp), I was trying extra hard to do my due diligence before picking the next shop. Ended up somewhat reluctantly going with Mister Collision... couldn't be happier with my choice. Everyone at the shop is incredibly friendly and helpful, they got my car done a couple days earlier than the date they gave me, and the work was nearly impeccable. I say "nearly" because I did have one small problem with one of the rear tires making a strange humming noise at speed. But they were more than happy to check it out for me and gave me top priority when I came back in to have it inspected. Turns out it was just a tire that needed patching after something happened when getting an alignment. Everything is perfect now. Granted my damage was mostly cosmetic (very minor suspension damage), and I haven't driven the car much since the return. Will update if anything else goes wrong, but I am perfectly happy with my choice of shop this time around. ... If there's just one complaint that I have, it's that the parking situation at their location is pretty awful. There's very little room between the actual parking spaces and the I35 frontage road, making it pretty difficult (and even dangerous) to get in and out of spots. In the grand scheme of things, that's a relatively minor concern... But it would really suck for you to get your car back all shiny and looking brand new only to wreck it again trying to navigate that abomination of a "parking lot". read more

The guy who owns the joint, his name is Aldo. I call the shop and he gives me a quote on my Bentley. It sounded too good to be true so I said I want this in writing. He says fine just come in. I drive all the way to this place from one of my houses in Dallas telling this guy I want it in writing and when I get there he says he can't put it in writing because he isn't sure how much it will be yet. I got my car fixed here after my most recent fender bender and somehow we both missed that the fog light needed to be replaced because it had a crack in it from the crash. When I took it back to get it replaced, they also fixed this light that was stuck inside it's casing and gave my car a bath. Also, this is an Iranian shop and unless you are Iranian you will not get good service or a good job.. Most of his business comes from Iranians, you know, the people that hate us!!! One more thing, he forges signatures and if you have a legitimate complaint and he is in his typical bad mood he will throw you out!!! I went to Mister Collision on a friend's recommendation and I'm so glad I did! Tony was my contact. He explained all the work that needed to be done, and he worked diligently coordinating with the other party's insurance adjuster making sure all repair items were included for coverage. He also helped me get set up in a rental, and Aldo -- the owner himself -- drove me to pick up my rental. Tony was prompt in returning my phone calls and kept me updated through the entire process. Tony even replaced my brake lights no charge (which had nothing to do with the collision -- but was told by another mechanic I needed diagnostics run when I only needed the bulbs replaced!). I highly recommend Mister Collision! From Trish the receptionist to Tony my contact to the owner Aldo, what a great experience to offset the headache of being involved in a collision. I've waited several months to write this review because I am still upset about my car. Mister Collision did a great job with repairing the body work, looked brand new. The staff was friendly for the most part and allowed me to pick up my car after hours. However, there was also an electrical problem with the lights in my gear shift. The lights were working perfectly normal AFTER the accident, however, I believe when they were completing the other repair work under the hood something went wrong. I then returned my car and they advised it was the light bulb and they would change it for me. They ended up keeping my car longer than expected because they could not determine the cause of the problem. I paid for a rental car for several more days AFTER already returning the first rental car. They ended up having a third party look at the electrical problem because Mister Collision could not determine the problem. State Farm then reassessed the damage to my car and would not pay for the electrical outage because they couldn't prove it was caused by the car accident. It WASN'T caused by the accident it WAS caused by Mister Collision. When I finally received my car back there were no lights working on my ENTIRE DASHBOARD. I was left to pay the expenses on my own (I believe over $300) which I wasn't going to do. Mister Collision and State Farm did nothing. This is a great body shop but I would never bring my car here again. read more

Just had to make a complaint with the BBB about Mister Collision. I wish I could give lower than 1-star. DO NOT TRUST THEM! I paid $700 in cash that was not returned to me after a failure on their part to do any service on my car that day. When I picked up the car they said they looked at it but didn't have time to work on it. That would have been fine BUT they refused to give me my money back when I said I would take it somewhere else...NONE OF IT. They kept all $700 because they "looked at it'!!! STAY AWAY!!!! read more
