I followed their treatment plan for the first three treatments, one for the first three years. Then we went to one every two years. The next treatment will be in two weeks. Utilizing oil vice water-based is the best advice I could have received. Our driveway is 8 years old and still looks like new. There are very few if any cracks and the driveway holds up better than I ever imagined. Even my neighbors comment on how great it looks year around. When they apply the oil, it is done very meticulously. The value for the cost is well worth it as the long term effect means your driveway will last a very long time. Before when I used a water-based application, it looked nice at first but then broke down requiring re-coats every year.
