This should be below zero, or perhaps- six feet under the ground for trying to screw me up when they told me that they don't accept credit card and it's "cash only" for payments. Under Vehicle Code 22658 Section (k) (3), it is against the law. If I should have only recorded our conversation with the guy I talked to over the phone (which I didn't because I didn't know they could do this), I could have sued this agency. Nevertheless, I am speaking the truth to warn others about them. My car which I have reported as stolen last Feb. 2 has been towed by this agency because they are under contract with Carson Sheriff Station. A different deputy found my stolen car illegally parked on a different address after 30 minutes that I reported it as stolen, but I was never informed that they found it. After 3 weeks, I got a letter of pending lien sale from this agency. After getting the release form from Carson Sheriff Station, I came here and asked the lady to show me a proof of authorization document but she only told me that she has the same copy as mine(recovery report). She asked me if she can see my copy and I gave it to her. She then went inside and then came back with the same copy as mine- except that I have a BLUE circular marked on mine while hers have the same exact BLACK circular marked on the same exact place on the paper. But she kept on saying that the police gave it to her. I asked her what time they towed my car and she said it was at around 7:30 or 8pm while the deputy who gave me the release form just showed me a copy of first report saying that it was towed in the morning at around 6-7am that's why the stolen vehicle report wasn't on their system. Something fishy is going on between Carson City Towing and Carson Sheriff Station. Anyways, I end the conversation and just paid my bill using a credit card. If God would be the judge, these people are sure gonna go to HELL. read more

I just called in about a notice that was sent from this towing place. The first time I called the person who answered put me on hold for 10-15 mins. Never got back to me or nothing. The second time I called it was a woman, her customer service was horrible. I don't know why she's answering the phone with a catty funky ass attitude. You guys need new people answering your phone. People that actually want to help & not throw attitudes. please train your employees to learn customer service and the values of it. I like their casual, easy going atmosphere of their auctions. They're just really cool people, and this comes from a former customer, as 2 years ago they had my car on a 30 day police hold. Be careful... They will charge for fee's they are not allowed to charge. Get a copy of the Reno City Tariff, by contacting the the City Attorney's office. Completely dishonest, over charge on services for Law enforcement matters. Luckily I was one step ahead and called them on their unethical practices! THIS PLACE IS A TOTAL JOKE!!! ILLEGAL OPERATION FUNDED AND FULLY SUPPORTED BY OUR LOCAL SHERIFFS! Whew , sorry. Ok here's my horror story and decide. I was in an accident and car was moved by order of Sheriff to this lot as a "public storage" CAR WAS NOT IMPOUNDED. There is a difference, the car was NOT being used as evidence in a criminal case, it was NOT being ordered for destruction, it was NOT a lien or repossession. It was my car stored here. I work construction and had been living out of the car earlier that week. ALL OF MY TOOLS AND GEAR AND ALL OF MY PERSONAL PAPERWORK WAS IN THE CAR: ID, SOCIAL CARDS, BIRTH CERTIFICATE... ALSO MY PHONE LIST AND HARD DRIVE WITH ONLY COPIES OF CHILDS PHOTO. I cant work, i cant get a different job with no paperwork, how do i get car out? The first time i called they said bring ID and come get your stuff. It took me 2-3 weeks but I went down there (1 hr on the bus) with spare proof of identity to get MY BELONGINGS FROM MY CAR. The guy was helpful but knowledgeable. Took my ID and came back a min later. " you cant get anything from car" me: why not ? he didnt know and asked the obese latina in cubicle. her: cuz no one can go on lot or get anything, ok. I said i called and they said it was ok, nothing. I went back a second time and similar outcome. My friend who works for the state was kind enough to let me know that 1)they have no legal right to ANY PERSONAL PROPERTY in your car 2) even if you owe them money they must let you get personal property or arrange to bring to safe area if lot is not suitable for customers. 3)They can put a lien on the vehicle but NOT PERSONAL PROPERTY I called sheriff and asked what i should do, i even cited vehicular code establishing legally i am in the right. They were not helpful either. i got one "we dont get involved with that stuff" (im sorry who TF enforces vehicle code again????) and also got a "i dont know code and i dont know anyone that would be able to help you with this issue. DID they sell my stuff? steal it? Loose car? WTF are they doing and why are the police even dealing with them with so many complaints and soon to be pending law suits? And why was my car taken soo far from my area? EITHER WAY AVOID. AVOID. AVOID. Thanks a lot you A************!!!!!!
