Took it to the mechanic shop and they said it was the axle. And said they fixed it drove 5 feet away from the shop and the grinding noise started again. Called Car Hop and they said to take it back. Made the appointment and the shop looked at the front end and said it was the other side of the axle. Car Hop said I would have to pay $200 of the repairs. By that time I was outside the 7 return window. Went to the store and was told by the unhelpful customer service rep that was the nature of buying used cars. After losing 2 days of pay to get repairs done and paying the $200 to get the repairs made I had the car for less than 2 weeks and $840.00 in the hole. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. They are not people of their word nor do they stand behind what they tell their customers. Thank God credit is fixed and I don't have to buy from them ever again.

Dropped off my 1996 Eagle Talon with an oil leak that had gone undiagnosed for a year. Other mechanics weren't able to figure out what was wrong with it. It also needed an oil change and a tune up. Clay not only diagnosed the oil leak, he called me several times to let me know what was going on and to make sure it was okay to do the repairs. For the tune up, oil change, oil sensor replacement, and valve cover reseala (for the oil leak), the total cost was about $200. He was quick, efficient, knowledgeable, and honest about what was going on with my vehicle. Will go here for any future repairs.

My fiancé and I were too trusting and bought a car at NY Auto Sales without doing so and got screwed over. Tariq gave us his word that if anything happened within 2 weeks that he would work with us. 9 days after purchase the car was brought into a shop to get it checked over due to an odd noise. When the vehicle inspector put our car through a code reader, over 20+ codes appeared, those including engine misfires in every cylinder, hydraulic engine mount failure, rear upper strut mount that needs to be replaced, air bag codes, and multiple others. When we contacted Tariq and asked for him to work with us since it was still within that 2 week time frame, he denied. We completely understand that older vehicles are not perfect and that dealerships sell "as is". The issue is that he isn't educated about the cars he is selling and made it sound like this vehicle was in great shape when in reality it's below fair condition and now we will be spending thousands to fix what is needing to be fixed. He buys his vehicles off online auctions and I doubt he sends them through a mechanic to even gain knowledge of what is wrong with the car before selling. And if he does send them to a mechanic, he knows what is wrong with the car and is not honest with his customers. As for the individuals who apparently "fix" the cars he gets on his lot, they used spray paint instead of real paint on the gas cover and we were told the struts were replaced but after this that's highly doubtful.

This guy is all excuses. He gets his vehicles at auction from dealers. Wish I would have known that prior to purchasing - IF THE DEALER DOESN'T WANT IT, IT'S TOO MESSED UP!!!! I even saw another one of his vehicles on the side of the freeway the same week we got ours..... not surprised.
