Which she didn't like. Ughhhh. Sooo, we came back and the staff helped her pick out some really beautiful diamond earrings she DID like and now everyone is happy. But, I did learn that after 20 years of marriage, I still don't know my wife (she, on the other hand, can read me like a cheap Harlequin Romance). All kidding aside, Strickland's is a really nice store with nice helpful folks. They're local and that's what I really like. I'll definitely be back again to pick out another wrong anniversary gift!

I went to two Lowes locations, Home Depot, and Best Buy to get a replacement. None of these locations had the oven I needed. Furthermore; their representatives all told me the same thing....I would be put on a list and I wouldn't have an oven until the first week of January, at the earliest. I walked into Brackin Appliances, where I met with a true Sales Consultant. Ryan was interested in my situation and truly wanted to help me out. He talked to me about my needs, and found the oven I needed. He ordered my oven, which will be here today, AND he pulled strings to get it installed on Christmas Eve! I will have an oven for Christmas Diner because of his true desire to help his customers. I highly recommend Brackin Appliances for any Appliance need. Ryan is a true consultant, not a sales representative. He will talk to you and help you find the right appliance to fit your need. Thank you Ryan for your help.

All of the sewing notions that are harder to find in stores like Wal Mart are available, as well as pattern brands like Vogue and Butterick as well as more indy brands. There is a great selection of reasonably priced ribbon and lace and elastic as well as lots of fabric and buttons and scissors, you name it. Don't let the size fool you--they really have lots of good stuff in a small space. I've had my machine repaired there twice and though it took a while to be done it ran perfectly afterward and I even got some advice for making it continue to run better. Every time I've had a question the employees have been friendly and helpful. Now that Covid 19 is a problem, this is the only store I have been in that I have actually felt fairly safe in. None of the other businesses I have been in cared enough about my health and employee health to require masks and limit customer numbers. They even give out a free mask pattern! I can't wait to go back and I highly recommend Enterprise Sewing Center.
