When you first walk in you feel as if you're walking up to someone's cute little house in the south. It has a large porch area with chairs out front. Then when you step inside it's massive! I walked through room after room with different themes and color schemes. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. I felt like I could shop in there for hours. I will say they are a bit on the higher side in price, but they have many markdowns around the store and their items are quality pieces from the best furniture warehouses in the US. This is not one of those bargain places to buy cute furniture that breaks in a month, this place has sturdy and beautiful pieces. I actually sat down and felt the weight of some of these objects. Since I most likely won't be back in this part of town, they gave me a printout of all the designers and warehouses they order from to get pieces shipped to me, so that was awesome.

The store itself is out of the way and we had to snake through a residential area to get to it. They have a wide variety in terms of selection but while browsing, my husband and I found nothing that suited our taste buds. This isn't to say that this is a bad place to shop. For the prices that they were charging, I was expecting items a little less dated. Coming from LA, we have large strips of furniture places so the selection is plentiful. While I did see a couple of "okay" items, there was nothing here that I would actually purchase or place in my home. Desk staff was very nice and didn't harrass us.

WORST TREATMENT EVER!!!! Dear Badcock Corporate, I and my…read morewife were treated with total disrespect and disregard by one of your employees in your Dothan, AL Store. He was a first class Arogrant Prick who seemed to think he was too good to assist us. We were there to purchase our son a Real Tree Couch, Love Seat and Recliner... And for us, a TV Stand and Bed Room Suit. We had been in your store in Enterprise, AL and were treated exceptionally by your staff there... When I asked your Dothan Store employee (rather heavy set 50ish, gray haired gentleman) if they offered a Military Discount , he said "no we do not!" I then told him that the store in Enterprise had offered us a 10% Military Appreciation Discount... He responded with a smart ass grin, "Well, you are not in Enterprise Boss man!" I told him that that kind of treatment did not encourage me to buy anything at his store. He just walked off and left us standing there and refused to wait on us. We then went to the back counter to talk to a young lady that was willing to help us. As we were talking, the rude, arrogant condescending employee came up and interrupted my wife, me and the female employee saying, "I got them!" I told him that he had walked off and was too much of a smart ellick for us to deal with him further and that I would prefer that we dealt with the female employee who was being very helpful to us. He then said, "well, she is not going to wait on you...!" My wife and I then left the store... We had found the Living Room suit that my son wanted and other items that were perfect for our house and we had $5K in the Car and we're making our last minute Christmas shopping today. But, we had no intention of spending a dime with this jerk! He was one of the rudest salesman that I have ever dealt with. My wife was APALLED! I was livid! We will never set foot in another BADCOCKS again. Please have an upper level Managing Supervisor contac me... We want a full apology from this rude employee, then we may consider spending time and money in your stores...! By the way, we bought furniture this morning from your Enterprise, AL store and was very pleased! And they Quoted us a Price on the 3 Real Tree items that was $700 below what the jerk in your Dothan Store quoted us... WE KNEW THE ITEMS WERE IN SALE... HE MIST HAVE TAKEN US FOR IDIOTS.... I am a Wartime Disabled American Veteran that served our country for 39 years and I just think I and my wife as well as other patrons deserve better than this guy...! FIRE HIM YESTERDAY!!!! Their rating should be in LARGE NEGATIVE #'s!!!!!! Insincerely, Doc Franklin, LTC(R), U.S. Army. "NSDQ!" AND BADCOCKS UPPER LEVEL MANAGEMENT NEVER CALLED ME... nothing... as of 09/25/2018, CRICKETS...

I picked up the headboard and footboard got it home and unpacked it when I noticed it was cracked and the post was misaligned (see photos). There are only a limited amount of times where I left feeling good about spending hard earned money, and this is certainly one of them. Walking into the store had a familier feel.
