My husband booked 2 nights here as a last minute getaway. Our room was in the annex of the house. The room was quaint but basic. When I first saw the layout of the rooms i worried it would be very loud but we never heard a single neighbor on our floor. The biggest praise for this establishment must be the stellar service by the excellent staff! The moment we emerged from our room and came downstairs they were right there, ready to meet any request with an enthusiastic smile and cheerful demeanor. (Something i find rare in NJ) The next home run has to be the Madbatter restaurant. Everything on the menu is unique and the portions are enough for a family of 3! We had both breakfast and dinner and all were excellent. My only small suggestion would be to install a proper shower head in the shower. This was the PERFECT getaway for my husband and I to celebrate our 5th anniversary. The Carroll Villa is a National Historic Landmark and the building dates back to the 1880s. We stayed in Room #18 on the 3rd floor. Pros: - It's a block away from the beach - Two blocks from the Washington Street Mall restaurant and shops - We received a $30 voucher for use towards breakfast or lunch at the Mad Batter - Our guest room was decorated and accented in a modern fashion - The hired staff was friendly Cons: - It was pricey for an Inn with very little amenities - The rooms are relatively small - There is no elevator (Not an issue for us, but might be for some) - The hotel parking lot is located several blocks away (Pro: They offer golf cart service to and from the parking lot. We found this to be a nice perk) - The latest they allowed us to check out was 11:30 (Most places allow a late checkout anywhere from noon-2pm) - We found the check-in and check-out process by the owners to be very impersonal for a B&B. Update based on owner's response: There were patrons at the bar drinking, including the maintenance staff. The bartender was behind the bar. Not sure how that constitutes it being closed. And if "dirty water" from a leak above the bar some how penetrated the bottles behind the bar, or your beer kegs, that would be nothing short of a miracle. Just because a room is popular, doesn't make it superior to others. The room we were moved to was loud, had an outdated bathroom, and lacked privacy. Customer service shouldn't be difficult. If you're planning a trip to Cape May, be cautious where you stay. read more

Fantastic Getaway! On a last minute decision, we decided to spend Thursday night, February 4, 2021 in Cape May.  When we stay in Cape May we prefer to be near the Washington Mall.  After a quick internet search we chose to stay at the Carroll Villa Hotel on Jackson Street.  The Carroll Villa website has great information about the hotel, pictures of all of the guest rooms, and the ability to check availability/make reservations. Upon making our reservation we received a nice, welcoming confirmation email from the Carroll Villa Hotel detailing our stay.  I opted "in" to receive text updates, which provided information about our stay and check-in time...but more importantly a text notifying me that our room was available well before our scheduled 3pm check-in time. Because of the time of year, Cape May was not very busy and the parking meters were disabled so we could park across the street.  My wife was greeted at the front desk and handed the keys to our room...Very easy! We chose to stay in Room #13, which is located on the 3rd floor.  Room #13 overlooks Jackson Street and has a "glimpse" of the ocean.  It is nicely decorated with a private bathroom.  The room has the usual items...wall mounted TV, mini-fridge, iron/ironing board, hair dryer, and two cushioned chairs.  Everything was very clean! Located on the 1st floor was a small sitting room with comfortable seating and a toasty gas fireplace - a great place to relax and sip a cocktail. Also, because we were staying at the Carroll Villa Hotel, we were provided a coupon for 30% off dinner and a $30 voucher/credit at the Mad Batter.  The Mad Batter is a great option that is located under the same roof as the Carroll Villa Hotel...this is especially nice on cold, windy nights so that you do not have to leave the warmth of the building.  The Mad Batter has excellent food and service...we especially love the "The Original Manmosa" and "Bellini Cocktail" for breakfast - Cheers! The hotel staff could not be any nicer or attentive.  This was our first time staying at The Carroll Villa Hotel...it will not be our last! read more

will not be coming back. we could hear the bar until very late at night, the bed was very uncomfortable, the window opened up to the back of a building, we could hear the people snoring and sleeping next to us in the next room, the air system that they use through the building was making noise and going on and off all night waking me up periodically. if you can't find anywhere else to go it's not the worst of the places but for $200 I expect much more. read more

You have to love "early American/Victorian" styling... which my wife loves and if I'm truthful... is pretty nice in Cape May's setting. But for me, I prefer modern decor when I'm staying in a hotel/motel/airbnb. That said, I really don't have anything negative to say about Carroll Villa. The staff was very friendly and always ready to answer a question or help us out. As everyone states when reviewing... this hotel is as good as it gets location-wise. Right in the middle of Jackson Street, turn left and you're 1/2 block from the boardwalk and the Atlantic. Turn right and you're a 1/2 block from 'downtown' Washington Street (walkway only) and some amazing restaurants. The room itself was "old"... but was not musty as some older hotels are. The bedding was clean and fresh and the floors were wood, so no rugs, which we appreciated. The bathroom/shower was very nice and recently(?) renovated/moderized, so that made me happy. There are no elevators and the stairs are a bit narrow, which for us wasn't a problem... yet. I'd have no problem coming back here. Carroll Villa offers $30 off breakfast vouchers as well as 30% vouchers off dinner at the Mad Batter, located in this hotel. A nice chilled bottle of Pinot Gris was waiting for us in the fridge... which was a nice touch. read more

While I enjoyed the trip to Cape May, I was extremely underwhelmed with this hotel. The service and experience did not come close to match the average $333/night cost. I gave this hotel a low rating for the following reasons: - The room we stayed in was smaller than most B&B's I've stayed in throughout the country. It had a king size bed and two chairs with a table, but along with our luggage we really did not have much space. - On our last night, the room above us had a drunken altercation from 2am to 330am that ended with a police investigation right outside of our room. - We stayed in the "Annex" portion of the B&B, which was right above the Mad Batter restaurant and on the Jackson street side of the property. It gets noisy starting around 7-730am when the restaurant on the bottom floor comes alive. If you are going to consider staying here, I highly suggest you do not stay in the Annex. - The entire staff aside from the cleaning lady and Kyle (manager at Mad Batter restaurant) was unwelcoming and cold. We've stayed in numerous B&Bs and they typically come with a cheery and overly friendly staff. It was complete opposite experience. The staff made us feel we were burdening them with any inquiry. As hotel guests, do not expect any special treatment to get seated at the Mad Batter restaurant. You'll wait almost an hour on weekends for average food. - No one monitors the hotel after the restaurant closes. We called the hotel 5 times to alert them to the altercation. When we highlighted the 3am guest altercation from our last night, the hotel receptionists brushed off the incident as if it could never happen again and were not receptive to our feedback to improve emergency responses to prevent similar situations in the future. We asked where we could locate an emergency number for after hours, for which we were given various responses (no one seemed really to know where to locate said #) and the final response given was outside the hotel. We did not want to leave our room so having an emergency contact # located outside of the hotel is not much help. It should be clearly displayed by the phone in all rooms if the main line provided on the piece of paper at check in is not monitored after hours. Additionally, the hotel receptionists provided minimal apologies and couldn't even provide a small credit (at the time or for a future stay) or additional credits at the hotel restaurant to compensate us for the horrific experience. I left vacation feeling exhausted.... the opposite you want to feel after a getaway. -On the positive side and the only reason I gave this two vs. one star is the location is fantastic. Minutes from the beach, Washington mall and other primary Cape may landmarks. read more

The room itself was spacious and clean. The heated bathroom floor was a treat. I appreciated the dim light on the clock. The food in the attached Mad Hatter restaurant was delicious as I remembered from a previous visit. Parking was a slight challenge, but I found a spot a couple blocks away. I chose Room 18 because it was on the top floor and advertised as quiet. If I had know that there was going to be live music on Sunday night until 10pm, so loud that I could not fall asleep even with 2 white noise machines, I would have selected a different place to stay. When I mentioned the noise at checkout, I was met with an attitude of skepticism and disdain. "Where was the noise coming from?" Um here, unless there is another bar next door I don't know about. "That's the first complaint we've ever had from that room. Maybe it was louder than usual." You think? I don't care if it's the first complaint. It was MY complaint. So if you ever stay here and want to get to sleep earlier than 10, remember those noise canceling headphones! read more

I believe this is our 5th year at the Carroll Villa. Could not think of a better place to spend a week at Cape May. I hesitate to write about it in a review but our room is the BEST. We take room 20, the only room with a porch on street level. Love sitting out at night, sipping a glass of wine and watching everyone walk by. We actually schedule our vacations around when room 20 is available. We are very low maintenance so we don't need a lot of service, but if there is an issue or question everyone at the CV is extremely helpful and friendly. Between the breakfast voucher, the 30% of dinner and the beach chair and umbrella service you couldn't ask for any more. The location is perfect, it is within walking of almost everything. We park our car and walk everywhere. We just love the Carroll Villa. read more

Had a great stay at Carroll Villa. Central location and for the dead of winter, this place was packed! In terms of a hotel, it is older but the rooms are renovated. I stayed in room 14 which was great for a weekend but probably too small for a week stay. The bathroom was huge but they need a different shower head for a better more luxury experience. The sheets were amazing but I think they should have down comforters vs the thin quilts-especially in the winter. The room wasn't cold but it would be more comfy with a comforter. Love that the room had a great tv and fridge. Best part is the restaurant and bar attached. I was really concerned that i would have noise is room 14 since it was the front of the building but it was perfect and away from the stairs so as quiet as can be! Took my special lady to Cape May for a night on a trip up to NYC and decided to stay here based on the strength of their rating @ Tripadvisor.com. Let me preface my comments by noting that the ratings game is very subjective, even though a business may garner a 4-5 star rating from more than 30-40 people on a website. The "Villa" was highly rated on tripadvisor.com, but perhaps I should've dug deeper into the reviews for substance given my inclination towards the details (I like research after all). The Villa was located perfectly in the heart of Cape May, such that one could drop the car and walk everywhere around town. Plus 1 point here. What was less appealing, however, was the layout of the place. You walk through their attached restaurant "The Mad Batter" (more to come on that) before ending up at a motel-style window for check-in. Though I recognize that checking-in is a necessary requirement, the ambiance was less than thrilling when compared with all the other B&Bs I've stayed at over the years. Minus 1 point here. In addition to parading your luggage through an open, busy restaurant with scores of people staring you down as you try to manipulate your luggage through the various doors and hallways, our room was located in the "Annex," which conveniently was located through a door that was smack-dab in the middle of the restaurant (right at the hostess station). This was an ugly setup - minus another point here. Next, after trudging our luggage up the narrow English staircase in the Annex, we got to our room. I will note the room was nicely decorated, if not too much fashioned after my grandmother's house in 1970. All the basic necessities worked fine, although the view wasn't anything to write home about. Overall, the room was neutral in the points game. But while we wanted to get out and immediately explore Cape May, we next had to "deal" with the car. Apparently hotel parking in Cape May is only available for the high society, given that we had to drive our car about a half-mile away to park ours in a city lot. Now I'm fit enough to walk, so this wasn't too large a deal. But if you needed to walk home late at night after a long day out traveling somewhere else this wouldn't be any fun. And this is, after all, the ratings bizness, so minus a point here. The last matter is breakfast. Advertising itself as a "B&B hotel," the Villa does include a $30 breakfast voucher for their in-house restaurant The Mad Batter. While I didn't eat anything laced in batter per se, the Eggs Benedict was delicious and hearty, while my lady had no complaints over her waffles. Good service and tasty coffee - add a point here. Without getting too mathematical, I'd say the Villa's central location, decent price, and good breakfast make for a decent bargain in Cape May. But I wouldn't recommend this place for a romantic getaway or if you're a stalwart B&B aficionado. read more

My stay at the Carroll Villa was above satisfactory in almost every way. I had an unpleasant experience at the very end of my time there that left a bad taste in my mouth. The woman at the front desk was pleasant and kind, eager to help with whatever we needed. The room was clean, quiet, and the air conditioning was fabulous for such an old building. We were right next to the widow's watch which we utilized at sunrise to watch the sun come up. I bought a travel deal through TravelZoo to stay at the Carroll Villa which included a $30 food voucher for breakfast in the restaurant. Upon completion of the meal, we had spent $25 out of the $30 food voucher. When I went to the front desk to ask if the rest of the voucher could be used to pay the tip towards the waitress, the man/owner was very dismissive, condescending, and gruff with me. He gave some excusing excuse about cashing out the voucher and how it would run them out of business. My main concern was making sure the waitress got tipped, not trying to get the money I paid back. After asking why the voucher did not work similar to a gift card (the balance of a gift card can usually be cashed out for a tip, if the patron wishes), I was rudely told that it did not work that way. The main said that part of my deal included tipping of the housekeeping staff and waitstaff in the restaurant, but even if that was true, the way he told me felt very much like he was trying to end the conversation. This B&B is cosy, clean, and moderately priced, however take caution with their vouchers and coupons, read the fine print, and tip the waitstaff, since I highly doubt the management is concerned about them at all, based on my experience. read more

Seriously - book your stay here. Okay, so I have to admit... I am somewhat hard to please when it comes to hotels and restaurants. I am super picky to a fault. I am not kidding you when I say I can't find one negative thing to say about this place. Our pleasant experience started even before arriving, with the kind staff calling us to see if we still needed a late check in. When we got there, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with just enough Victorian charm. The building is well preserved, but you don't feel like the decor is a hundred years old as well. The rooms are darling, and the bathrooms are gorgeous. If you're a sheet snob like me, you will be in heaven! I had the best few nights sleep here. We stayed in room 14 for reference. When you're staying here, you get generous coupons for the attached Mad Batter restaurant. Use them! I'm serious, this is the best restaurant and bar in Cape May. Not only is the food delectable with tons of variety, the staff is delightful as well. I personally had the white bean ravioli and was in dreamland. I have a food allergy, so finding somewhere that catered to my taste was super convenient. And it was delicious. I know my review might seem super extra, but we have fallen in love with this place. I'm laying here in the most comfortable bed sad as anything that we have to leave tomorrow! You know a place is good when you get the end of vacation blues. We are lifelong guests! I have stayed here before and I had excellent service and a beautiful room. However, that's not the reason I'm reviewing today. About two weeks ago, my mother-in-law died unexpectedly and I had to cancel only a few days before my trip. I assumed that I would be charged the full fee as per their policy. However, I received a personal email from the manager expressing their condolences (no cookie cutter form here!) and they only charged me the early cancellation fee of $50! I got back money that I had thought would be kept. It was very kind of them especially during this time of coronavirus where hotels are really hurting financially. I have recommended Carroll Villa to all my friends and coworkers! It's my hope to reschedule a trip soon. If you have the chance to visit Cape May please try out Carroll Villa! read more

William S. and I had a nice little weekend away here during the holidays. We can New Year's day and Cape May is definitely dead during the winter (hence, off-season...). One thing that was kinda nice were all the great deals on art since a lot of the businesses were closing up shop until the spring! We were in a room upstairs in the main building and it was pretty nice. The TV was wall mounted and the bed was very comfy and the room was nice and warm. it was nice to walk around w/o a sweatshirt on and not be thinking about the heat bill HAH. I'm not sure what people were saying about the checkin window and walking through the restaurant. I really didn't have much to complain about w/ the facilities - it was clean, roomy enough, clean...large bathroom, though the shower is really small. I'd come back again, maybe in the summer when there isn't snow on the beach. read more

My husband and I had a very nice time at the Carroll Villa. The location is perfect within walking distance of everything. I'm not sure why the complaints about the decor and narrow hallways and the staircase. To me, this is expected in an old B&B. Also, the check-in window? I didn't have any problems. The woman was very friendly, gave me all the information I needed and invited me to come back if I needed anything else or any more information. The breakfast was fantastic and I'm not much of a breakfast person. Someone also mentioned that there is no common area. Not true. There was a lounge area when you walk in the door to the right that had comfortable furniture and even a case filled with books and games for the guests to use. It was always empty. My huband and I spent a little time there after dinner one night. There is also complimentary coffee there in the morning. Minus a star for two reasons. First, the shower was kind of humorous. I'm 5'2" and 130 lb. and couldn't shower without being against the shower curtain. My husband isn't a large man either but we wondered how a bigger person would manage in there. We recently stayed at the Carroll Villa hotel for our first trip to Cape May. Parts of the hotel were renovated over the winter, leaving a great looking property with classic charm. The porch restaurant (Mad Batter) was an awesome breakfast and dinner spot. We received a $30 voucher towards breakfast and 30% off dinner for staying at the hotel, and we used both. The food was excellent, great portions and lots of options. I only wish they would open the porch for happy hour, it would have been amazing to sit out there with a glass of wine before getting ready for dinner. The room was a good size for a B&B, and had a renovated, clean bathroom with nice marble accents. The bed was comfortable and I slept well both nights, which I don't usually do in hotels. I feel the pricing was very fair, especially with the added coupons and access to other features like beach chairs and golf cart tours. Yes, the parking lot is two blocks away, but, the hotel is very accommodating with a loading area and golf cart ride to and from the hotel. We would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to returning. I hope they get new pictures of the porch up soon, definitely an added value! read more

Really cute hotel that feels like a bed and breakfast less than a block from the beach. Got a deal on living social for $100, but they were out of the room size that the deal specified so we upgraded to a bigger bed and room for just $20. Deal gave us free breakfast (obviously), 2 free mimosas at breakfast, free bottle of wine in our room, free wine tasting at Hawk Haven winery about 15 minutes away, free trolley tour of Cape May, and dinner discounts at the restaurant. Rooms are cozy, like you would expect at a B&B. Awesome breeze coming through the windows off the ocean that comes with a view. The restaurant, the Mad Batter, is great. Food is awesome. The $15 per person given for breakfast is more than you'll need. The happy hour is 3-6 and everything but top shelf is half price. My wife and I got 5 drinks, one of which was a Martini, and our bill was only $16. Cannot beat the location. Not only is it right near the beach, but its a short walk to the Washington Street Mall. If you're looking to spend a few nights in Cape May this is a great place to do it! read more

My husband and I both love Cape May NJ but we are not fascinated with the Gothic -Victorian style that most of the properties are decorated in. Search in the Internet I found that the Carol Villa is decorated in shades of cream, gray and ocean blue, just the peaceful getaway we were looking for. Marta, Tim & The entire staff were very welcoming and eager to ensure our stay was a good one. We were happily surprised to find a balloon a bottle of wine and chocolate covered strawberries in our room when we arrive for our Valentines Day overnight. They really went the extra mile. My husband and I stayed here for one night last weekend. Like Tony C, we picked Carroll Villas because we think B&B's are charming and Trip Advisor rates in #2 out of all of Cape May. As a matter of fact, I could basically cut and paste Tony's review here and agree with it all. I'll try to give my own spin to things. We arrived late and had a room in the annex building. Luckily ours was a room that had a bathroom INSIDE of it, rather than OUTSIDE in the hall as other rooms did. You have to lug your bags up a very narrow staircase and hallway. The room was ok - a pretty quilt, antique furniture, and grandma-style flowered wallpaper. In the morning we came down to breakfast and were given a $30 voucher for breakfast at the Mad Batter, the restaurant in the hotel. We sat on the porch and had a very nice meal. But we felt awkward basically walking through the bustling restaurant server's area several times to get to our annex room. We almost collided with at least three servers carrying trays out of a door next to the annex door. At checkout, we stood by the glass window (definitely minus a point on that!) for at least five minutes while the ladies behind the window chatted on and on. When we asked them about recommendations of where to stay the following two nights they bad-mouthed a couple of places and didn't give any real help. My husband and I felt that this place lacked any romantic or friendly B&B vibes - it is more like a motel inside a pretty victorian facade. Most of the interior is taken up by the restaurant and the office, so there aren't any communal areas to hang out, and the porch is occupied by the restaurant so there are no outdoor amenities like a porch to sit on. We will definitely stay elsewhere but for a night it was just fine. Well-situated right on historic Jackson street just a few houses down from the beach. read more

There are 2 great things about staying at the Carroll Villa hotel - the location and free breakfast at The Mad Batter. Outside of that, this place is below average. The beds are old and uncomfortable and the rooms overall leave something to be desired. We did a Thurs through Sunday stay in August. It was just ok. PROs: location, on site bar/rest, coffee. CONs: dirty feel throughout, small plastic showers, average/below ave service, clogged sink, small rooms with no where to put your stuff, skimp on bathroom soap/shampoo, there's no outdoor lounging or seating unless you're eating (you can't sit on the porch!), no restaurant seating prioritization given to house guests (that means you wait), no parking, too expensive for what you get, messed up food order, constantly have the laundry room/house keeper doors open, poor bedding and climate control. You can tell they don't do maintenance very well. Feels like they would rather cut expenses then generate revenue through better service and amenities. I would imagine they benefit most from location and very little from repeat customers. All the other places had 'no vacancy'. I know why. We had a nice time at Cape May, just not at VC. The staff makes u feel more like a stranger then a guest. read more

The building is very nice and location is just great. However, the bed in the room was not comfortable at all(standard queen),we didn't get good night sleep.Also,we had problem with heating -the AC was not working-. Upon telling this problem, they gave us space heater to fix the problem BUT it was not working great either. The good part of this place is 30% discount for their own restaurant which is right next to hotel, and the restaurant has live music at nights. The ambiance of restaurant is really nice.Their overall breakfast menu,specially their omelette, were great,however,our dinner experience wasn't same, food was tasteless. read more

Nice location close to the beach and shopping, but aside from this, we were not at all impressed with Carroll Villa. First, parking is located blocks away. You drop your luggage off and then have to walk back to the hotel from remote parking far away. Terrible if it's a hot day. The receptionist was OK, but not overly pleasant. I felt like she didn't want to be there. Our room was up on the top floor so we had to lug our bags up two narrow, steep stairways to reach it. No bell cap to help you, from what we could tell. The room was clean, but that's about it. The window air conditioner was in the window nearest the bed. We had to create a barrier to diffuse the cold air blast away from us so we weren't sleeping in a cold draft all night. The bed - OMG - it was a double bed. A queen would have fit into the room, but no, we were in a double. It was high off the floor, and luckily neither one of us is short. We could hop up. No step stool that we could find. In the hotels with old, high beds in which I've stayed before, they have a small stepping stool in the room, Not Caroll Villa. If you're short you would have to take a running jump to get on top of it, or maybe become a pole vaulter. Bad night sleep. No room with two adults in a double bed. I might as well have been sleeping in a coffin. The bathroom was clean but old and the door wouldn't shut completely. So much for privacy. I will not stay there again. The restaurant on site, the Mad Batter, was ok. Just ok. Standard food. Good, but nothing that stands out. Have to admit I've never been a huge fan of B&Bs, but I expected more out of Caroll Villa. read more

My husband and I stayed 2 weeknights for our anniversary and really enjoyed our stay. Great location near the beach and shopping areas. Chairs and umbrellas free with voucher on the beach. Restaurant was very good $30 voucher for breakfast and 30% discount on dinner. Staff was friendly. Rooms were nice, AC in the wall and ceiling fan. Free water bottles in the room and free coffee in the morning. Only adjustment was having to park the car about a 10 minute walk away, but staff available to pick you up or drop off via golf cart. They will also help with bags to the room since no elevator. Good value. Good experience. Going back. read more

Great location near beach and shopping. Substantial discounts to excellent adjoining restaurant. Reasonable prices and frequent midweek and offseason specials. Quality of rooms vary, so check reviews and the website. Charming cupola. After a rocky start that was completely my fault ( I booked for the wrong date), Mark the manager was so accommodating, helpful and generous we loved our experience at the Carroll Villa Inn. We came on Valentine's weekend and this was the perfect getaway. Centrally located and great great breakfast. The rooms are quaint like you would expect at a beach town but comfortable and clean. Loved staying here!! We stayed for two nights and nothing beats the location and the breakfast. From the bloody Mary's, to the friendly staff who helped with our bags and transportation to and from our car, to the location, we couldn't have asked for more. Rooms were small but clean. Can't imagine why anyone would spend the majority of their day in a room with so much to do near by. Highly recommend and will be our go to place next time we stay in cape may!!! read more

Horrible ! Be very warned that this place is a nightmare the staff is rude and the rooms are beyond Filthy . There was blood on our bathroom door and toilet , not to mention a ringing noise that went off every hour all night and days from the minute we arrived !! Was told by the staff that something in storage room behind our room was overheating but not to worry !!!! And they could do nothing to accommodate us we had to stay at a different B&B for the night so we could get some sleep without being woken up every hour not to mention the fact that we were not really comfortable knowing something was overheating directly behind our bed!!! And they wouldnt even reimburse us , after a staff member and several other family members witnessed this ringing they Are now acting as if it never happened and we made up the whole thing! Good thing for many witnesses Very unprofessional!!! I don't know how they are even still in business to add to matters no hot water , leak in bathroom ceiling , parking 10 blocks away , food all over room floor, smelled of mildew & mold just to mention a few others .Easily The Worst place I ever stayed , And dirtiest ! This is the first & only review I have EVER posted but considering how horrific our stay was from start to finish I thought I should warn others In response to Caroll Villa I did mention the filthy room very early on during our stay & be clear that the young woman at front desk said in front of us and 2 friends that she in fact heard the ringing noise and that she was able to pinpoint the noise coming from an overheating unit in storage room directly behind us .... Oh and by the way the brand new toaster oven wasn't even in our room when the ringing started but good try ! Also I do not believe you called past guest to ask them if they heard noises in their room but then again that wouldn't surprise me considering the level of unprofessionalism read more
