It was a pleasure to enjoy this with Taylor and talk to her about her school. They also offered a book sale and we bought a number of books for Taylor to read. Next she walked me to her class and she gave me a gift she had made and showed me her class room. I was very pleased to see the school, to visit with a few of the teachers, to talk to some old friends and most of all, to spend precious time with Taylor. Thank you Heywood!

I am a proud alumnus of Wittenberg University class of 1999, and want to reflect on my time at the…read moreuniversity as instrumental in shaping my successful career in marketing and leadership. During my time on campus, I was not only a dedicated student majoring in business administration but also an active participant in various organizations. My leadership roles within the Xi Chi chapter of the Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity, Student Senate, and Student Appellate Board allowed me to showcase my ability to manage and lead diverse groups effectively. Moreover, as the president of Union Board, I was given the opportunity to demonstrated remarkable organizational and financial management skills by bringing renowned entertainers to campus and laying the foundation for the now-thriving WittFest. I credit my experience as the president of Union Board at Wittenberg as a pivotal moment that shaped my career. The skills I developed, including leadership, strategic planning, budget management, and revenue generation, have been invaluable throughout my professional journey. The advice I would give to potential and current students is to focus on the importance of seizing opportunities, taking on challenging tasks, maintaining a positive mindset, and believing in oneself to achieve success. If you want to be developed as a leader and given the opportunity to have tangible experience that will help you after graduation go to Wittenberg!

I made the best friends of my life here, met the best people I have ever known, and had an amazing time. I also had a disgusting time. Life in the bubble - the air gets stale and mold doth grow.
