I go to Heywood for school and I say. Bring your child here for education. Many activities and lunch is cheap. I used to live in Las Vegas and went to Imagine Schools. I mean I liked it there but it wasn't as good as Heywood.The principals here are nice and they can appreciate anyone.I have met most of my friends here and I have gotten into gifted education aka GATE Enrichment Classes.And the only downside is no air conditioning. read more

I was invited to Grandparents Day today at Heywood School in Troy by my sweet granddaughter Taylor. Breakfast was a part of it with Tim Hortons muffins, doughnuts, orange juice, milk and coffee. It was a pleasure to enjoy this with Taylor and talk to her about her school. They also offered a book sale and we bought a number of books for Taylor to read. Next she walked me to her class and she gave me a gift she had made and showed me her class room. I was very pleased to see the school, to visit with a few of the teachers, to talk to some old friends and most of all, to spend precious time with Taylor. Thank you Heywood! read more
