Well, tell that to my HOA who was feeling grumpy about the state of two queen palm trees I planted 20 years ago. In their defense, that part of my yard needed attention and could be better served as a dog-run. While I consider myself handy, I do not consider myself skilled enough to deal with 30 foot trees. So I asked around and Nate came highly recommended. He gave me a reasonable quote, so I booked him. Within a few hours of his arrival, the palms were gone, the HOA was off my back (again) and our dogs have more outdoor space for their dog business. Some never responded, others replied only once or twice, and several asked for photos and videos but were unwilling to visit my property to assess the scope of work in person. After initially selecting another contractor based on a quote, I informed the other companies that I had made my decision. Chris, however, went above and beyond--he was determined to earn my business and asked if he could stop by at 5:00 PM to provide an in-person estimate and see if he could offer a better proposal. That initiative alone spoke volumes. When Chris arrived, he was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. He provided a more competitive price, but what truly set him apart was his willingness to take the time to come out, evaluate the project firsthand, and demonstrate genuine interest in earning my business. That level of commitment is rare. Once Chris and Francisco began the work, they were efficient, thorough, and extremely careful to protect my existing plants and landscaping. Rodrigo was very easy to work with, friendly, knowledgeable, & confident that they could accomplish the job. Their price was reasonable. I contacted them via email but on their website they said to call for quicker results. So I called and they were able to schedule an appointment with me. (They offered me two choices- 1) to come do estimate and assessment only or 2) come and do the work the day I schedule them. ) I chose the first option so I could hear their assessment of the three fruit trees (lemon, plum, and guava) we had in our garden. He came out and assessed. I was very impressed with his knowledge and experience. We scheduled the work to be done the next morning at 7 am. ! He came with his team and were able to trim and prune both the plum and lemon trees, and removed the guava tree which was old, not bearing fruit, was leaning over into our fence, and I was already debating to chop it down to a stump. (The day of the assessment, he inspected the guava tree and said if we just chopped it down, the roots would continue to sprout out more trees --similar to redwood trees and sequoias--and showed me the newly sprouting trees coming out. Yikes! He said in order to get rid of it, we need to remove the roots completely.) We decided to move forward with removing the entire guava tree. Everything they did, they did a fantastic job! Hernan and his team were efficient, professional, polite, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend them with no reservations. His service was very reasonably priced and he was able to bundle it as a package, and get it done in 2 hours!
