I have nothing but good things to say: he's an excellent communicator (didn't hesitate to call, text or send photos if he had any questions or issues came up) and they did a great job! When I finally saw their work in person, I was very impressed. I've used a lot of painters over the years in other cities, and Joe knows what he's doing and is a real professional. It was a quality job, and they were neat and clean about it as well. They also showed up when he said they would and got the job done in a reasonable amount of time, and he was true to his estimate with no surprise additional charges. I also appreciated that because I wasn't living in the house yet, Joe took the time to let me know about a couple of house-related issues he noticed when he was there, even though they weren't necessarily "paint-related". I will definitely use Joe's again and I will absolutely recommend him to others.

We purchased a home in Ormond Beach that was really gross inside. The previous owners had tenants,…read moreand these tenants smoked... a lot. The estimate was fair for the work proposed. We asked them to use a specific primer to ensure the smoke and nicotine never bother us again, and to do three coats. They complied with this, even though the fumes from the primer were horribly bad, and none of the windows open. They estimated a week and a half to paint the entire interior, and they completed the job within that time. We had first looked at another company, but that company wanted more money, and couldn't get to our job for three months. Lewis & Lewis worked us into their schedule a week after we met them. This is a cinder block home, and the tenants had put huge holes in the cinder blocks wherever they hung stuff. Somehow these painters filled those in so well, and matched the texture. We truly cannot tell where a single one of these holes had been. The attention to detail is extraordinary. The house feels so clean and new now, and there is zero residual smell from the previous tenants. The pictures include a few before, and a lot of after pictures (I bet you can tell which are which). In a few weeks, we will be painting the exterior of the home, and we will definitely use Lewis & Lewis again.

The mother (me) didn't even say anything. The client and the mother were together to ensure everything was articulated to the owner about the issues. The painters refused the fixing of the job and walked out. They had no intentions to address the mistakes. At one time they might have been great. Brand new doors inside the house should have been spray painted and not brush stokes all over them. They were upset we wanted them fixed.

He told us would get back to us and come out to ensure these strips would work - that was in September. Jim did not get back to us, I had to contact him. Here we sit, the floor still is not completed. I cannot in good conscience recommend this business! It is by far the worst follow-up and communications I have ever encountered from a business owner!
