I had a good time at Carrabba's. The staff there was quick to help and very polite. The food itself I would best describe as a step up from Olive Garden. There's more character to the dishes and better flavors, but its still not going to be the same as a dedicated Italian spot or a pasta specializing restaurant. I would still recommend checking this place out though if you're looking for something similar to what Olive Garden can offer, but with a slightly more premium atmosphere and taste. read more

We had an excellent time at Carrabba's. Our bread was warm and the dipping oil was delicious. I ordered the bolognese with a side house salad. Highly recommend the house salad; all of my vegetables were fresh and the dressing was delicious. The bolognese portion was huge!! Happy Birthday to me! I celebrated my birthday at carrabbas and it was wonderful. I went for lunch and had the shrimp scampi, salad, chicken soup and bread. Yummy! It came out hot with very little wait. Katie was my server and it would be hard to find a better server! She was very professional but kind , attentive and knowledgeable and she did it all with the biggest smile! When she found out about my birthday she came back with a piece of cake with a candle!!! Recent remodel in dining room and bar brighten up floors tables and the bar. Very clean restrooms. Lighting is perfect. Started off with an Arnold Palmer and unsweetened iced tea. Keith, our server, brought out fresh warm bread with spices in olive oil to start. Ordered the Veal Marsala with mushrooms in sauce. Pan seared garlic cloves accented the Spinach or broccoli side. Chicken Polo was great served with an Asparagus side. Vincent, the owner, came out to greet us tableside. The dessert was the famous CARRABBA'S ITALIAN GRILL SOGNO DI CIOCCOLATA (CHOCOLATE DREAM). Delicious indulgence in chocolate is a must try! I highly recommend this fine Carrabbas in Apex, N.C. located on Haddon Hall Drive next Sky Zone up on the hill. This place has always been a favorite but not tonight...my first impression was the dirty door. Next the lack luster caring of the staff...totally off what I know of this waiter. Then the dirty oil dispenser. The food tasted good but the picture on the menu was not true in real life ( no tomatoes, not enough of other goodies like spinach and mushrooms) . No urgency at all to acknowledge customers or delivery drivers.. 02/10 came in for pickup waiting 4 minutes at the greeting area before I was even spoken to..restaurant wasn't busy it was close to closing probably had 5 tables with customers .once finally spoken to she checked and said its waiting on fries .16 minutes later it's finally done..since when does it take 15 minutes to cook fries.. 2/11 went in for another uber eats order same thing not busy at 2pm few employees looked my way and continued on talking before employee comes over about 5 minutes and ask have i been helped i say no not yet here for a pickup..she said let me go check and she goes turnd around and starts removing dishes and takes them to the back she returned from tye kitchen and proceeds to clear off another table instead of seeing if the order was ready to be picked up.. 2 orders i could see was on the rack by the cooks..so another employee ask me what i needed and told her and she went and got the food..acknowledge your customers even delivery drivers read more

I've been coming to this Carrabba's Italian Grill since they opened and recently had dinner there. It's easy to suggest that nothing is like it was. Over 10 years ago and Carrara's has made some great changes to their menu offerings to adapt and some other things not so well done. I ordered the linguine positano with chicken (Tag-Tic-Tac replacement) and it was just ok - not served very hot, not sure if chicken was freshly grilled and the lukewarm presentation couldn't melt the fresh parm cheese and the tomato/olive oil appeared more watery than oily. My wife's crab cake appetizer was awesome. One other item for Apex Carrabba's is do something with your mens room.....for years it has been a smelly arm pit with liquid on floors, trash overflowing and downright disgusting at 5:15 pm read more

This is for the Apex, NC Carrabbas. Wife and I went to an early Mother's day dinner and we sat at the bar. 1. Katie was our waitress/bartender and was just outstanding!!!!! Stayed for 2hs plus and had a wonderful time. Service was prompt really friendly. We wound up getting chicken bryan and chicken marsala. Both great as usual. Terimasu was to die for. We wound up also ordering lasagna and shrimp scampi to take home. Just finished half the shrimp scampi and it was exceptional. Dinner here is always an amazing experience. Everything is always perfect: the service is excellent; the food is amazing. Their lentil soup is really the reason we keep returning. My entree was the Chicken Trio - highly recommended! My husband had the lasagna - always a favorite. They pour extra marinara sauce over so you have extra sauce in every bite. They currently have the apple crumble on the seasonal menu and it is to freaking die for!! Do not miss out on this - go very soon. Dad and I went to dinner after the movies and asked me what I wanted, and I said Carraba's Italian grill. I have been here before and enjoyed it very much, so I wanted to try it again. It has been a long time since I have been to Carraba's, but when I stepped in and sat down in a booth, I remembered how wonderful the dining experience was back then. Tonight was no exception! Our server,Lana, did an excellent job taking our orders and following up with us to make sure our food was good and arrived on time. She did an excellent job on refills for my blackberry iced tea and water, as well as bread. She exemplified perfect customer service and was very professional with us throughout the dining experience. The food was incredible as I knew it would be. I ordered the chicken Marsala with sauteed broccoli and my dad ordered the veal picatta with angel hair pasta. I had the minestrone soup as a starter and my dad had a Caesar salad as a starter. The minestrone soup was decent and refreshing, but a little bland in flavor. However, my chicken Marsala was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing!! The sauteed broccoli was prepared to perfection as well. Dad loved his veal picatta and angel hair pasta, so he was a happy camper. The blackberry iced tea was fantastic and refreshing as well! All in all, Carraba's was a wonderful meal and an excellent choice for dinner. Dad and I were satisfied and happy with the dining experience, and my Dad is a hard man to please at times LOL. Really don't have much good to say: the service was terrible from the moment we went in, none of the service staff we interacted with even pretended to be amiable, they all seemed somewhat irritated. Service was awfully slow, food was no better than microwave dinners, waiter never once checked in to at least see if we needed beverage refills. I also ended up with an upset stomach after the meal. HORRIBLE SERVICE: 3 times consistently have gotten wrong order, only to find out after arriving home (25 minutes drive) After repeating my order twice and then server repeated it twice to confirm, order was wrong when I arrived to pick up. The only way I found out was because I CHECKED BEFORE LEAVING!!! Recently, AFTER arriving, the server reported to me that they WERE OUT OF ANGEL HAIR!!! The franchise really sets you up for some delicious food but the staff (front and back) just throws it out the window at this location. I think I'm done this time, they screw it up every time but I'm just a long time fan, the online ordering is so well optimized, and it's just so convenient. I guess ordering a steak to go is an irresponsible decision anyways... interesting interpretation of medium well. It's like chewing on a tube of caulk...inedible. If you order online, don't bother sitting in your car like the autotext prompts you to. Your food will just be sitting on a shelf getting cold while you grow increasing frustrated. It's been a long time since I've eaten here and I regret that that it's been so long. Everything was promptly served and it was delicious. The server Alex was exceptional. It was a Thursday night and the restaurant was not crowded. The salad was beautiful and fresh and Italian vinaigrette was some of the best I've ever had. I love the warm, crusty bread with the olive oil and herbs. The prices were very reasonable and the menu was hard to choose from. Quite possibly the worst service. We ate here on 8/8 and had JR as our server. She seemed polite but acted like she was completely slammed when she had 3 tables.... We came in first and table #3 had their entrees before we got salads or a refill on water. She put our order in extremely late and it was so obvious. Had to ask for the same items multiple multiple times. We had dirty napkins when we sat down and she just seemed annoyed when we asked for anything at all. I understand the world is short staffed right now but with three tables it's not the end of the world. Here are some updates: Pros: a) 4pm-6pm 50% off appetizers in the Bar. b) Coupon Friendly offers. c) Plentiful selection surrounded by seasonal menus. d) Unbeatable herb compilation to add to their olive oil for dipping. e) Friendly Service. f) Restrooms clean and well stocked. We dined at Carrabba's in Apex tonight. When we arrived the hostess sat us as we requested to sit in dining room. The Server Keith did not seem to happy about it and became not very friendly. Keith acted as if he just could not be bothered serving us. Poured my beer in the glass and it overflowed all over the table. Did not clean it up. We had to ask for extra bread, and extra sauce we asked for when we ordered our meals. The Chicken Marsala was very good so that made up for the lousy service we encountered. This is my go-to italian spot in the area! Special shout-out to Vincent the owner. The last time I ordered from here, I was disappointed that chicken piccata was not as golden brown as it usually is. He asked me to put a note the next I order to alert Vincent and that he would make sure it was golden brown. I just ordered today, and the food was PERFECT! It was beautifully golden brown on the outside and moist on the inside. Thanks Vincent. y'all nailed it and made my evening. Here is what I love from here: Mozzarella Sticks - best in the area no question Chicken Piccatta - this dish really is the highlight of my meal, some of the best piccatta I've had(make sure you ask for it golden brown) Chicken Parm - really nice chicken parm too, the kind where the breading to chicken is the perfect ratio and the marinara is really great and caramelized. The chicken bryan is also something I enjoy when I wanna go a lil healthier. I will be ordering from here again. Probably next week. read more

Wow! My family came into this restaurant after leaving a memorial service. We were greeted by our waiter, KEITH. He was awesome. He didn't know where we came from, so he lifted our spirits and had us laughing during our whole dinner. He was awesome with his dinner suggestions and treated us so well. I ordered the breaded scallops with garlic potatoes and asparagus, it was great. My potatoes were cold and I told Keith, he literally ran and brought me a fresh order. Ordered the spaghetti and meat sauce (I had to pay extra for the meat sauce) and when I got the takeout home (20 min away), I discovered that all I had was basically spaghetti noodles with like a tablespoon of tomato sauce.
