I asked one of the techs, "You aren't changing my oil, right?" He looked at me like I was nuts and said no, just tail light replaced. Hmmm ok. Next thing I know, I hear him tell another tech, "It's just a tail light on bay 3!" Ummmmm In the meantime, the franchise owner (I think?) comes in and he's speaking to another Jiffy Lube on the phone and he was very brusque. He hangs up, then the tech walks in and is patiently waiting, the owner says "Do you need to get in here?" He didn't speak to the tech very nicely, it was just not professional, especially with a waiting room full of customers. The man was driving a black Cadillac, if that's the owner, not sure. Finally leave and I get about 1/4 mile down the road and my car tells me my hood is open. I pull over and sure enough, they had opened my hood for no reason! A tail light has NOTHING to do with needing to open the hood. I'm so glad that I was paying attention because I really think they were planning on changing the oil without my permission. I should have just gone to the dealer, these quickie places are just no good and have piss poor customer service and pretty sketchy techs. Skip Jiffy!
