Terrible. DO NOT BUY YOUR CAR HERE! They are cons. Was told the car was inspected and had "proof of inspection" which was provided. Was told the car was looked over by their "mechanic" and there were no issues with the exception of new tires "likely needed". If only that were true. I have put over $4000 into the car and now lights are coming on all across the dash for what is predicted another 500-1000 worth of electronic malfunctions. I took the car to my mechanic and they pulled the CV axles off to find they were nearly broken in half. It needed fluid in basically every place it could possibly need. The brakes were completely trashed (needed new rear pads and calipers). The wheel bearings were damn near falling apart. The electrical system was needing to be completely re-set (and still having issues with this). This all being said this car is a 2020!I wasn't able to pay the total $4000 right away so it has been approximately 1.5-2 months since I bought the car when I was finally able to pay off the repairs. So I brought a total bill of everything and the owner had the audacity to tell me if I had called the next day he might've been able to do something. The next day?? $4000 isn't a one day thing. There is no way this car passed safety inspections and no way any mechanic could look at the car and say there weren't "issues". If I could give this place a 0/5 I wouldn't hesitate to do so. I attempted to go talk with them before I posted this because I don't like openly trashing where people earn their money and this is my first negative review IN MY LIFE. When I brought the bill in and showed them they stated "Well at the end of the day it is a used car" This place doesn't care about good business. Worst experience and staff I've ever dealt with. Do NOT listen to anything they tell you. The kid in the office assured us that if anything was wrong with the vehicle we could bring it back and they would "take care of it" even though it was "as-is". We were even given an example of another person that had a transmission go bad, and how they took care of it. Within 6 days of purchasing, the car began overheating and broke down on the side of the highway. When we reached out to them and brought the car back they tried to tell us it was "as it". When we told them about the kid in the office verbally telling us something different, he then told us to bring the vehicle down. After the vehicle sitting there for days, we were told the mechanic is out of the country and we should just come pick it up and deal with it ourselves since they have no obligation to fix it. The kid basically laughed when I told him I would contact our attorney, saying "Don't waste your time and money - there's nothing you can do about it." Perhaps a little legal knowledge would help - NC does not have a lemon law, but we do have FEDERAL AND STATE protection under the Federal Trade Commission Act (UDTPA) Section 5: Unfair or Deceptive Acts or Practices. I highly recommend recording your conversations when visiting this dealership (as we did), and If this has happened to you - CONTACT AN ATTORNEY. I had been searching for cars for almost two months but I stumbled across Carprime outlet. I found two cars that were very hard to choose from but everyone was so great and willing to help. When I went home that day we kept in touch and also kept in touch before I went to see the car because I stayed 40 minutes away. They insured me that they would help me find a car at my set price and didn't force me to go out of my comfort zone. I was able to test driver within 5 minutes and I bought the car the next day. We bought a car that we were told had passed a safety inspection, we took the car to our state of VA where our mechanic informed us th at it in no way would have passed a safety inspection. The cars brake system needed to be replaced, were warped and could not have passed a safety inspection. The axles were leaking fluid. No windshield wipers. Also, thank goodness we bought the warranty because turns out the car needed a lot more work that will cost thousands of dollars which we will have to pay over $3000 out of our pocket. We asked Carprime to help with the brakes since that should have been fixed to pass safety but the refused to help with anything. They even tried to say that in some way we could have caused this in the short time we have had the car. They were unwilling to help in any way, not even a portion of the cost for the brakes.
