Worst place to buy a vehicle they do not take care of them or look them over before they sell them not even two weeks of owning my truck brakes go out while hauling over his trailer. Parking brake is snapped in half there's missing pistons in the brake caliper and there's multiple code popping up now they just clear them. And the owner of the place is so rude he told me my back windows don't roll down because I don't have the master key for the truck and the two mirrors don't go out and in and they tried to sell so the truck without mudflaps I told him it was illegal to sell a Dooley without mudflaps their trucks are just rigged together wouldn't ever go to this place again. I'm so lucky I pulled over and knew something was up the truck because if the brakes went out when I was hauling that could have killed me and everyone in my truck. DO NOT GO HERE!!! read more

These guys were amazing to work with. I have been looking for a diesel truck for awhile and flew out to Dallas from Az to go test drive a 2013 GMC Sierra HD Duramax. Carlos the owner offered to have me picked up from my hotel and I gladly accepted. They picked me up first thing in the morning and took me to the dealership and let me take the keys to the truck all by myself and I took it for a test drive. After about 10 minutes of driving the check engine light came on. I took it back to Carlos and we found out the code was for a failed fuel rail sensor. Carlos knew I wanted to buy the truck and start driving back to Arizona right away because the next day was thanksgiving. Carlos the owner personally rolled up his sleeves and got up in the engine bay and started taking out the bad sensor. I knew Carlos didn't typically do this type of thing all the time which made me appreciate him so much more. I'm not trying to say he's not a diesel mechanic but that he normally has his shop mechanics do all the work. He could have easily asked one of his workers to do it and he could of gone back Into his office but no he didn't. He wanted to help me get this problem fixed ASAP. Once the failed sensor was out he realized he didn't have the correct one in stock. I told him there was an auto zone just down the street that might have the part and he said to me, "oh no I don't want to put a cheap after market sensor in the truck, we can run to the dealership and get the exact replacement". (The dealership was almost 40 minutes away). I was taken back. Carlos wanted to have the best parts replaced and didn't care if the dealership was 40 minutes away. He wanted it done right. I gained a ton of respect for this man. Once we got the new sensor he got it installed super quick and the engine code went away and I got on my way back to Arizona. I can't thank Carlos and his team enough for making this truck buying experience so awesome and stress free. I didn't have to worry about any salesman tactics or pressure at all. Would give 1 star if I could and here's why. Saw a truck online and decided to go see it in person. They forgot to include scratches and window chips but I asked if the vehicle had any leaks they said no and low and behold the vehicle had a transmission leak. I told them to fix it before I bought it and they did . Then whilst signing the paper work my co signer and I asked Carlos O what happens if the transmission goes out he said and I quote "usually we provide assistance" without setting a specific timeframe. 2 months later as I'm driving I hear a loud noise from the transmission area. Have to pull over into the driveway. And I send them a message and he doesn't respond I had to call then he said they'll call back and never did so I had to call again. Just to find out he started saying that he never said they provide assistance or will help in my case. now it's been 2 months with my truck since purchasing ,and I had to deal with my brakes going out and now my transmission. Look before you buy if you buy here or go somewhere else . Or you can put your life or someone else's at risk. read more

The cars all seemed to be in nice condition, often priced under Kelly Blue Book. They had no problem with me taking a test drive without them with me. I drove off in my new car with a smile on my face. The only reason I am not giving them a 5 star rating is that they weren't willing to negotiate much. Maybe that is due to them already pricing their cars well, but I like to negotiate. Worst car dealership I have dealt with in a long time. Called multiple times to put money down and hold a vehicle as I purchased a ticket to fly down from Boston in order to purchase the car. Even After I explained to them that I purchased a ticket to fly down to buy the car, they sold it the night before I was coming to purchase it. They never called back even when they said they would. Carlos the owner and Carlos the sales representative fail to communicate even after they ran our credit and I asked them to send over the numbers. Put a down payment on a truck with CarPoint and all went well until financing fell through, so we took the truck back on a Tuesday, the FOLLOWING Tuesday the refund for the down payment still has not come through, because it was not entered in their system when he gave us the receipt for it, it was not even touched until the FOLLOWING Monday, so he waited 6 days to refund AFTER giving me the receipt, and then we were told by their credit card services a week later that it takes yet another 5-7 business days to get your money back. So I am still waiting on my refund to buy another car because this guy didn't do his refund when we requested it. Don't expect your money back for a long long while, if at all, if your funding falls through. Update... Got my refund ten days later..Two weeks later we get a notice from the bank that our funding had NOT, in fact, fallen through. All this for NOTHING. Apparently the offer just expired because we didn't USE it so they cancelled the note. Now why would they ask us to run our credit a second time, which led to a higher payment and interest rate if the funding DID go through the first time? I'd be careful if they tell you the first bank didn't want to finance you!!! read more

I found what I thought was a nice looking well maintained truck here and i called and arranged to go and look at it the next day. I drove 75 miles the next day to waste my time. I started the truck and it immediately filled the air with white smoke and was shaking , missing and just running like crap. I raised the hood and removed the oil cap to see that it had excessive blow by. It needed major engine work. The salesman then told me that they knew something was wrong with it yet they let me waste my time by coming over there to look at a worn out p.o.s. I wouldnt go as far as saying these guys are dishonest but beware and be sure you go see the vehicle you are interested in and go over it closely before buying. WARNING TOO ALL! Do not purchase from Carlos Carmenera. I bought a used diesel from this place, and it has been the worst piece of crap I have ever owned. Lots of red flags at this dealership if you pay attention, full voice mail all the time, bad communication, and lots of rip-off cars. After my purchase of the vehicle I did not get more than 100 miles on it and it died. Towed to a dealership which I am no fan of as they always overcharge. They gave me a list of problems 3 pages long; busted oil cooler( major engine component), bad fuel sender, 3 oil leaks, and a laundry list of other problems. I towed the vehicle to a mechanic friend and he gave me a great deal on a repair for 3200 dollars. All new oil cooler, all new hoses, new belt, new radiator. Carlos sold this car with a check engine light on which is illegal everywhere else, and lied about the issues. Carlos keeps no service records of these cars on file, because he knows if he did he would get sued to high heaven. Also he has so many extra parts around in his shop, it looks like a chop shop. He buys these cars from auction, throws some bandaids on them with a mechanic who has no idea what he is doing, I mean my turbo was not even bolted down on the engine for Christ sake! Long story short go somewhere else or you might end up like me out 4000 dollars before you even make your first car payment! read more

Best car buying experience I have ever had. Staff is friendly and helpful. The truck we found online was available and is amazing! It doesn't just look nice it runs well with no issue what so ever. My sales rep was Rojo and he was great every step of the way. The owner is hands on and available for questions. I know I bought a 5 year old truck so if I have to fix something that is to be expected but it seems they went over the truck and took care of any issues. The only way I could notice it wasn't new was a bit of wear on the ac control buttons. (You can get stickers to fix that and I was able to cover it up easily) read more

thinking I got screwed!!!! We bought 08 F250 sept 19 2016, mid oct it started smoking and they said it was computer chip. mar 21 I took to ford due to smoke since I bought warranty with truck to find that 2 injectors are bad and piston messed up due to computer chip. Got a call the next day from warranty that warranty is void due to computer chip. after 4 calls and a bad review owner called and said I could buy the injectors and pay 200 dollars to him and they would install them. When time to sign papers I asked to see the car fax. said they couldn't find it but Carlos said I promise you this car has had no damage other than a minor bumper repair. said he was going to buy it for his wife but they had a new baby neded a bigger car. Yeah right, I know I should have made him produce car fax. Long story short I re-financed 8 months later new lender ran car fax. Whadda ya know 3 accidents one serious with "Frame damage". we didn't have such a good experience,we flew in from Calif.bought a 2013 ford 4x4 diesel,we ask if it would pass an emission test and we was told it would,we drove back to Calif.it didn't pass,it had been programmed and all emissions were removed,we told them and we tryed everything to get it to pass but no,we took the truck back to texas and we was giving a particulate filter for the exhaust and was told they didnt have time to put it on so we left and broke down on the way home,had to be towed and pay $1500 for repairs,we bought a $3500 warranty but the warranty people said it will be active when the truck is transfured into our name,truck still didnt pass,they told us they would get it taken care of,we had the truck 8 months going through this crap,we replaced all brakes and rotors,rebuilt the front end,$2700 tires and rims,then we was told to bring it back again and pick out another truck and for all our problems they would give it to us for their cost,we got there and it all changed,they wanted us to buy a different truck,without being given any credit for the nine payments that was paid,pro-rate the warranty money,we couldn't use it when we tryed to,the $1500 they got for registration fees they put toward the down payment on another truck,nothing on the other trucks worked,when we got to Calif.it was in the am hours and when I went to back up I couldn't see behind me I got out and no lights,took off the light covers,no bulbs was in the rear of the truck,we drove 1600 miles without any rear lights,all the money that was put into this truck including the payments was around $28000 and it was still unsafe,no horn,seat belts frayed,no cruse control and after they got it back it was on their web site for sale,no we seen another side to these people,they would talk in spanish so we couldnt understand them but Brad talks spanish.this place don't check the trucksout before they sell them I don't think read more
