Today was the first time I used Carpet Works. I decided to try them because they're a local company. I had put off getting our carpets cleaned way too long so the situation had gotten desperate. I was very pleased with Carpet Works. The technician Alex showed up on time. I liked him right away. He turned out to be pleasant, friendly, competent, and knowledgeable about carpet cleaning. He was able to easily answer any question we asked him. Our old carpets are now much cleaner without any lingering chemical odor. We decided to ask Alex to clean the carpet in our RV. That carpet had never been cleaned. They came out so clean I was almost shocked! So I certainly recommend Carpet Works. read more

What a relief to find timely and attentive help in the Land of Enchantment! My rental home in Los Alamos was in need of some TLC. My white carpet looks like new! They did an absolutely fantastic job and were very detail-oriented. Several mysterious stains were completely removed, including one that was sticky. They were very careful with the furniture and did a thorough cleaning of the entire carpet. They also did a preliminary vacuum to remove dog hair that I wasn't able to get up on my own. I've used a chain carpet cleaning service in a different city, and the quality and service experience with Carpet Works was much higher. I checked some other carpet cleaners before deciding on Carpet Works. After speaking with Rux, the owner, who was friendly and accessible, I decided to go ahead and give this company a try. I particularly wanted a company who would not use chemical, but rather natural enzyme, biodegradable cleaners. Alex was at my place a little early and did an excellent job of cleaning my carpet and sofa. He was friendly and personable. The carpet looks wonderful as does the sofa and there are no harsh smells which chemicals often leave behind. I recommend this company highly. read more

Carpet Works has cleaned all the carpet in my house for years, beautifully. The wonderful extra is that the owner, Ruxton Waddell, checked in while they were working the last time. As it happened, I was in the process of choosing new carpeting. He talked with me about carpet and what he has learned from their years of experience. He helped me make what I think was an excellent choice. Then, alas, when I spilled V-8 juice on the new carpet, he came out for an emergency fix. One week after installing new carpets my dog got super sick. Without getting into too much gross detail, there were stains including blood. The crew was able to get the blood and other stains out and although they were late, they called an hour ahead of time to warn me they were behind schedule, and had my carpets cleaned in a timely matter. I had two large carpets cleaned and was very pleased with the results. One of my rugs was a 60 year old Chinese Oriental the I am giving to my daughter.
