After trying to fix it myself and calling several contractors, 919-Tile clearly stood out because of their knowledge and professionalism. They arrived on time, communicated well, explained why the issue was happening, and got straight to work. Within about three hours, the repair was completed, the area was cleaned, and they even fixed our shower glass door that had been scraping the step--above and beyond. A few weeks later, a small section started separating again. I texted them a photo, and they responded immediately and scheduled a follow-up with no hassle. David was extremely communicative about the timing and plans, so we always knew what would happen next and what we needed to do. His demo crew worked quickly and cleaned up very well. His craftsmanship was evident throughout. The corners line up. The grout lines are clean and consistent. The aesthetics are lovely, and the practical functionality of the bathroom is outstanding. He had to solve for a couple challenges, most notably that the new flooring was thicker and thus created a disparity with the entrance to the master closets in the bathroom and to the master bedroom. His solution was elegant and well done. My morning showers now feel like I'm at a spa. We love it! By the way he and his wife are lovely people and a pleasure to work with.

When you do get in touch, they have lots of excuses and very few apologies. After initially installing the wrong shower door, got it replaced 3 months later with the door I actually ordered, only to discover that it's far too heavy for my 90-year-old mother to slide open and closed, and now there's a metal track that she has to step over to get into the shower. When we were picking the shower components, I had a lengthy discussion with Austin about Mom's mobility issues and the need to keep the shower entry as low as possible. I selected the door from a picture, so of course had no idea how heavy it would be or that it would be a trip hazard. It would have been nice if Austin had been knowledgeable enough to have presented me only door choices that would actually meet my mom's needs so that we could have prevented this mess.
