Carpet Pros came out & stretched my upstairs carpet. Apparently when it was originally installed it was not done correctly & eventually pulled away from the walls creating bumps in our carpet. I called Carpet Pros & the owner himself, Darrell, came out & gave us an estimate. Pricing was fair & definitely cheaper than replacing carpet. I also paid for them to clean my carpet as well. We had carpet installed many years ago and over time it came loose and formed a long 7-foot bump right down the middle of the room--a 'cow lick'. The Empire Carpet store recommended Carpet Pros, and I can't be more satisfied with the re-stretching job they did. Carpet Pros' customer service is great (they answer the phone and show up on time) and Lou the repairman really, seriously knew what he was doing. It took only a bit over an hour. Because of the direction cow lick ran in, he didn't have to move a heavy cabinet. The carpet looks perfect and the cost was very reasonable. None better! Darrell and his team of experienced techs are as good as it gets. After losing control of a very heavy washing machine on the stairs, it crashed into the brand new carpet at base of steps. I did not have any spare pieces to use and the damage was substantial and obvious. I made a call the to Carpet Pros and they quickly worked out their schedule for Darrell to come by and assess the damage on the day I called! He advised me of all my options including a DIY one, but I chose (wisely) to go with his recommended method of repair which they completed the very next morning. The equipment they use was very small, quiet and efficient. Lou, the tech that perform the work, is a wizard! I've attached pics since it would otherwise be impossible to believe this could be done! Very pleased with Darrell (office) and Dan (field technician). I have a white sectional that had a very specific cleaning method recommended by the manufacturer. No one in the area wanted to tackle the job because it wouldn't have been an in-and-out quick cleaning and was more challenging for less experienced cleaners. The sectional was pretty heavily soiled in spots, and, there were several pink/purple fruit/juice/berry stains that I thought were hopeless. Dan took his time, did an overall cleaning, then spent another hour tackling the spots with various cleaning methods and solutions. He was able to remove the stubborn stains. Once he was done he let me go over the couch and point out anything he missed or I wasn't happy with yet. Price was reasonable and gladly paid for this company's service. CHG 12/22/2017 I had carpets clean today. Dan was the technician and was professional. I previously had used Carpet Pros to have my Carpets restretched. I am moderately satisfied with the carpet cleaning, it's adequate. It's no different than others I have used. However, this was much more expensive. I would recommend them highly for carpet repairs and restretching, but I will use someone else for the carpet cleaning in the future. read more

Fantastic experience! My dog had and accident in the center of my new large area rug, so I immediately reached out to Darrell Thomas and his team at Carpet Pros. I had used them several times in the past to clean the wall to wall carpets and had always been very pleased with the results. Urine is tough to get out, but Carpet Pros did an excellent job. My rug is a little complex, in that it is a mixture of animal hide and carpet. Darrell and Jason pulled off an amazing cleaning job and my rug looks perfect! We scheduled Carpet Pros to remove water stains from our sofa, and while the service from the technician was excellent, the communication from Darrell the owner was abysmal. After speaking with the technician when making payment, it became obvious that there was a miscommunication from one of the scheduling reps on whether or not a 20% off coupon would apply (Originally, I was told it would). The difference with the discount was insignificant ($20), but on principle, I insisted that the original pricing commitment was honored. This prompted a phone call back to the office, where I then spoke with Darrell. However, instead of honoring what was discussed on the phone with his scheduling rep, Darrell insisted on aggressively arguing his point that a miscommunication did not occur. The whole conversation was handled poorly and management clearly has challenges understanding things from the customer's point of view - luckily this was a $20 dispute. I did not have a good experience with this company. I appreciate that they fit me into their schedule the same week I called, but they were comparatively expensive and my carpet looks worse than before they cleaned it! I paid for three rooms and a hallway. He didn't clean the whole room; only the high traffic areas, and charged extra for a 2" coffee stain. He told us to wear the protective booties when walking on the cleaned areas as it would take 10 hours to dry. 10 hours--Ha! It took over 3 days most areas, and I had water stains in a doorway. The areas he cleaned are still noticeably darker 5 weeks later. I wish I'd cleaned the carpet myself like I usually do instead of paying lots to have it look worse. We're empty-nesters with no pets, so our carpet was not that dirty before we hired them. read more

We purchased an area rug that had been a floor model and were not at all sure it could be "saved". Everyone we worked with was very knowledgeable and kept us updated throughout the process. He did not move all furniture (heavy bulky items) but did clean the carpet within reach. It did take longer to dry entirely than what I was told over the phone in making the appointment (phone call said 'overnight', was told 48 hours on-site) but it did the job.
