I had carpet monkeys come to my newly purchased condo to clean the air ducts and stretch the carpet. The carpet in this particular condo is VERY old and hadn't been used in a long time. It looked like a mess, but I was told it would stretch out. The service was fast and friendly. There was a problem tho, the carpet was stubborn. The creases that had built up, refused to disappear completely. I was not thrilled initially, but I had sent the owner an email through their website with my concerns. He phoned me back within 10min. On a Saturday night.l at 10pm. Wow! What great service. Speaking to him, he assured me that he stood by his service and would do whatever it took to fix any problems! Just the best service ever! Who makes a business call at 10pm on a Saturday for a small carpet stretching job? After speaking with him, we figured out that because the heat wasn't on in the condo yet and the carpet was still damp after a day due to that fact, the carpet would likely improve once the heat was on and it had had a chance to dry. So it's Spring and time for "Spring Cleaning" before it gets too hot out to leave the windows open for carpet cleaning to dry. I had my master bedroom carpeting cleaned and my kitchen ceramic tile grout cleaned. The cleaner (Joseph) called before coming to let me know he was on his way (had an out of state caller ID, I almost didn't pick up), arrived at the appointment time, did a good job cleaning, and was very polite. I paid cash for the cleaning since credit card was a $3 additional fee. He emailed me a paid receipt and invoice PDF from his smartphone immediately. That made me feel comfortable that Carpet Monkeys is a company that is properly reporting income, paying their taxes and not doing anything under the table. To go off on a tangent for a minute, I always felt uncomfortable whenever I took taxi cabs for work travel and the driver would give me a blank receipt and tell me to fill in whatever I wanted. Once Uber came along, I never took another cab because it felt scammy. Anyway, back to the review. They even had "MONKEYS" as a personalized "vanity" license plate on the carpet cleaning van. i would get that plate if it was available, just because i like monkeys. anyway, I will keep them in mind for next time I need the grout cleaned. looks so much better. I tried cleaning grout by hand once and gave up and it wasn't anywhere as clean as what he did. will use again. read more

I wanted to write this to thank Rick and Joseph and to praise the service I received from Carpet Monkey. I called on a Thursday with an 'emergency' carpet cleaning job. Knowing it was VERY short notice I asked if they had any possibility of cleaning two bedrooms and a hallway either the next day (Friday) or Saturday. I was desperate, and honestly was just hoping to find some one, any one. Rick told me they were booked and I thanked him. He then stopped me from hanging up and said "If you can do it between 4:00 - 6:00 pm on Friday, I will make it happen." I agreed and am so happy I did. Joseph called at 5:00 on Friday, said he would be arriving in approximately 30 minutes, and he did! He inspected the job, and went right to work. Great experience. Called in for a quote and spoke with Rick. Very helpful and upfront with pricing and was able to get me in for an appointment with short notice. Pricing was also very reasonable. I had a small bedroom, stairwell and great room cleaned. Issac had showed up and did a walk through and offered to have my great room scrubbed with a buffer because of the heavy soil only for an additional $20. Totally worth it. Issac was friendly and efficient. He was able to get everything done within 2 hours and exceeded my expectations. Issac was able to fit up all the dirt and grime from the traffic way and had my carpet looking like it was move in ready. I called them to schedule a carpet cleaning for a hallway because it just had soooo much pet stains and smelled like pee! He got me an appointment in two days and he also made sure to give me call updates to let me know when the carpet cleaners are coming! I really liked that because I didn't have to wait around or anything! Finally, when they came in, they were super nice and fast!!! If I could give 10 stars I would. Pet EMERGENCY! Okay, maybe ME emergency, but regardless, it was dire times. Cat woke me up by curling up to me on my bed with a dirty butt at 5am, shaved her, bathed her, vaccuumed, all was well....walked the dogs, poop when I came out of the shower. I decided it was time to get the carpets cleaned and grouponed places, and then thought it must be a trap, there's no way a $180 service for $50 was possible unless it was a scheme, and I flat out asked Rick in an email. He was very straight to the point with stating how the groupon special works, and then ended up just asking what I needed and quoted me right then and there (spoiler alert: it ended up being even LESS than he quoted me). Decided to "think it over" cause I just had no urgency other than my rising blood pressure. Scolded the dogs and went to work. Came home from work to poop ALL over my bedroom for the zillionth time in a row and saw red. That's when I just couldn't take it anymore! It was less than an hour before 4pm (quittin' time on a Saturday usually) and everyone I called was quoting me for Tuesday or Wednesday. I still don't understand how people thought I could sleep in animal feces for 4 nights, and casually tell me they were full up. Near tears, I called Rick back and he said they were also booked (what's with it this weekend, the poop planets are aligned?) and after I explained how dire the situation was, he said he would personally be at my home within an hour. Too good to be true I thought, and hung up and hoped for the best. Soon I got a call from Joe, one of the nicest and most respectful laborers I have ever met. Within an hour he was in and out and now my house is poop-free, smells like citrus, the carpets are already dry, the pet enzyme killing treatment has been applied, and I am one happy pet-mama. Thank you Rick, Joe, and the whole business for your quick and courteous customer service, attention to detail after long hours that were unexpected, and taking the time out to put yourselves in my shoes, and make it a priority for me to be comfy in my own home. I will always recommend you, use you, and hopefully watch you grow for years to come! This is a business that has a clear mission statement of being kind, efficient, and respectful of their clients. Just had these guys come today and they were awesome! Talked to Rick to schedule. Let me know to vacuum before, move things off the floor, and vacuum once the carpet is dried. Two guys came out. They cleaned up ALL the stains from a one year old and all the potty mistakes from a puppy. My carpets are nice and fluffy again. They even cleaned my rug that was downstairs! How nice of them. We had them do a tile demo. I was really sad when we bought our house because the sealer we used, didn't seal our grout so our tile is horrendous but the demo area made it look like new! We are having them back once we get a price quote for the tile. No, it's not the cheap 54 for 4 rooms crap of a job. You get what you pay for. But the price was NOT expensive. The guys called 15 min prior to arrival, came right at the beginning of the arrival window, and finished in an hour. Will be using there services again. Our carpets are in great shape but since they are 3 years old we decided they could probably use a professional cleaning. No kids and two small lil dogs who are very well trained.
