They did a fantastic job at a reasonable price. That was 2022. About a year later, Steve redid our stair case & balusters. I couldn't have been happier with the end result. Again, very reasonably priced. Janene was always very communicative & over the top polite! I'd use them again if we had another hardwood project!

Steve was fine. Floors ended up good. He clearly knows his stuff. A little too well, in that he…read moretakes a few shortcuts. In the end, you'll know that the communication was horrible (mostly handled by the wife (whose name I forgot)) and the end result will be decent but won't wow you. Pricing is likely in line with that. We got three quotes, $2700, $3300, and $3500. S&J was $3300. I would say just don't trust their communication at all. They will be all over the place in what days to move stuff, what days they'll be done, when you can walk on it, etc. Just plan on 12 days of mayhem for 1000 sq ft and you'll be good. One last thing, they tell you it is a three coat system, but it is stain, then two coats. Very, Very misleading. Update: I suppose "shortcuts" was the wrong term. Lazy is the term I should have used. There is white stain all over my house where it shouldn't be. Nearly every door handle is stained because he didn't clean his hands, there is a permanent footprint on the entryway, there is stain on the dark kitchen cabinets, he left two hardboards here that I had to get rid of for him. There are little white beads of stain coming up between boards. Just lazy. Oh, and the communication piece I am referring to is that 4 days before our project started, the wife's cell phone was disconnected by her carrier and I could not reach them in any way. I wrote their email on the website but never got a review. Never was given Steve's number. The 12 days refers to 2 days to move your stuff, 5 days of work, then 5 days before you can put rugs back down. Steve told us only 3 days for furniture, but I actually read the label of the Bona coating he used and it clearly said 5 days for rugs (which furniture is on top of) so 12 days. Also, little lazy that he said 3 days when the product he is "certified" to use clearly says 5 on it.

We contracted with this company to complete a simple project of finishing the stairs to our…read morebasement as well as removing the carpet on the stairs from our main level in our home to the second level of our home and finishing them as well. All with the same existing product (an LVP) already installed on the main floor of our home. The owner, Tiffany, came out and took measurements for the free quote and found the product we needed. On install day, the workers informed us the product we had already paid for (about $1,800.00) was not made to fit the stairs we had. We were given the option to modify each stair (both significantly increasing the labor cost and making them out of code) or find a different product. Then we were informed that there was no way to return the already purchased product as it was no longer produced. Tiffany came to our home, took measurements of what we needed, had us order product that would not fit, and then basically told us we were out the money. There was absolutely no explanation or negotiation and from the onset and I have yet to be able to communicate our frustration with her since she does not call me directly (she communicates through our contractor), her voicemail is full, and she does not respond to text messages. Instead of understanding the product limitations before having us order it, Tiffany blindly chose a product that was useless given the measurements she showed up in person to make. Then, instead of helping us find a suitable compensation other than throwing away money, she left us out to dry and basically told us we were SOL without communicating it. It has been the worst consumer experience I have ever experienced and I have had some difficulties in the past. I have nothing but good things to say about Tiffany's workers as they were respectful and obviously frustrated with their employer's mistake. Now I am stuck with unfinished stairs and unusable product taking up space in my garage.

I hired Leo Aceves dba Wow Wood Floors in October 2023. I was having a problem with my basement…read morefloor being uneven and wanting to redo my stairs. Leo said he could level my basement floor, install new flooring and redo my stairs. I really liked how the stairs turned out, and was wanting to redo another set of stairs. Floors and stairs were completed close to the end of December 2023. Within one week, the flooring started to buckle, I could feel it push down when I stepped on it, and it would raise back up when I stepped off. Leo came out twice to try and fix it, doing the least he could, and it still was not corrected. He stated he would probably have to remove that last portion that was installed, reinstall it, and that would cost him money. He also said I could pay for another 20 bags of leveler and that would fix the problem. He was really slow to respond to text messages, about two weeks each for the first couple of times he came out. I kept trying to contact him, he refused to answer phone calls or text messages, I found out he blocked my number. I sued him in January 2025 to get the floor fixed. We had to attend court ordered mediation. During that process, he and his lawyer saw a video of how the entire basement floor was uneven, buckling and snapping. He asked to fix the issue. I requested to get through the end of the school year with teaching and covering sporting events. He agreed. In June, I sent texts or emails, once a week for four weeks with no response. He finally responded in early July saying he could get me on the schedule at the beginning of September. I responded and asked him to get me on the schedule. I never received any response from Leo. I had a lawyer send a letter to him and his lawyer in August reminding him of them agreeing to fix the repairs during mediation. As of this review, he still has not responded. I have attached three photos of the unevenness of the floor. This is how my entire basement is today. Please consider this review when deciding if Leo Aceves dba Wow Wood Floors should complete your project. There is a possibility you could end up with problems that will not get resolved, will get no communication from Leo, and have to pay another company to fix your project.

Work was completed in a timely manor, can not say anything bad about quality of work is was as expected (love the color and finish on floors!).
