He got back to me right away, I explained to him the issue and that I knew it was likely too small for him to take on. He told me not to worry about it, that he was more than happy to come on by and handle it. He came by, diagnosed what was going on, explained to me in detail his plan to fix the carpet, and was in and out in under 60 minutes at a very, very reasonable price. The carpet looks good as new! More than happy with the results. Definitely reach out to Krystian for your flooring needs. He's easy to talk to, respectful and honest, and above all, does great work. Really glad I found him and I've already recommended him out to friends. Photos 1 & 2 (Before): Carpet is frayed where it meets the tile, with nails poking out. Photo 3 (After): Krystian's work reattaching the carpet to the tile, cleaning up the fray, and removing the nails. Good as new!

Krystian came here himself and did a fantastic job. He's meticulous in his work - the space he repaired looks great. His price was competitive with a few other estimates I received. And he's a really great guy to talk with. I'd definitely use him again for a repair, or when in need of new carpet. Highly recommend.

Some would not tell me the brand the flooring was. Some just did not know their products. It was all so frustrating. Then along came Charles. My knight in shiny armor. He is sincere, honest and truly cares about your needs. He lets you know if there is a delay or a problem. I felt that I was in good hands. He told me all I needed for the floor. The supplier he deals with is top notch. Then came delivery/installation. I was immediately was put at ease with the worker he sent. I wanted to keep him. He did a nice job installing the floor. As soon as there was a little dust or mess there he was with his broom and vacuum. I love my floor. I did not even have to get use to it. My old floor was dark and this one was quite lighter. I do not expect to have any problems now. If I do I have confidence that Charles and his crew would be right here. Carpeting will be done soon. My plan is to go with Charles again. Skip the fast talkers and go with Nationwide Floor and Windows.

We paid over $14,000 for a professional installation, but we have been left with a failing floor and an owner who uses "warranty offers" to avoid fixing his own team's gross negligence. 1- The "Standard Procedure" Trap The owner, Brian, will claim he is "ready to resolve" the issue, but don't be fooled. His "remediation plan" is a cheap "spot repair" that ignores the systemic subfloor failure documented by an independent inspector. The inspection report--which the owner himself initiated--confirmed the subfloor is outside of manufacturer flatness tolerances and should have been leveled before a single plank was laid. Instead of honoring the contract, Brian is trying to force a "patch job" that is technically impossible for a click-lock floating floor without compromising the locking mechanisms of the surrounding area. 2-The "Extra-Cushiony" Gaslighting When the floor first began moving and crackling, the owner and his Project Manager, Chuck, didn't even bring a straight-edge to measure the floor. Instead, Brian actually wrote us a letter claiming the structural instability was a "feature," calling it an "extra-cushiony step." It was only after we refused to accept this gaslighting and an independent inspector proved the failure that he finally admitted the floor was out of tolerance. 3- Why "Access" is the New Excuse The owner claims he is being denied access. This is a blatant attempt to flip the narrative. We have welcomed a wall-to-wall assessment to ensure the floor finally meets the 1/8-inch manufacturer requirement we paid for. The owner has refused this. He only wants access to perform "localized" patches that would leave our $14,000 investment non-compliant and likely void our long-term warranty. 4- Unprofessional Negligence: * Technical Failure: The crew installed the planks tight against all four walls with zero expansion space. * Zero Preparation: Subcontractors arrived with no knowledge of the scope of work and didn't even know a vapor barrier was required (even though we paid for it). * Scheduling Over Quality: They attempted to install over a wet slab only 24 hours after abatement. ***Final Verdict:*** FCI Chicago North Side skips the most important steps (leveling and moisture protection), tries to talk you out of noticed defects, and then offers "minimal repairs" once they are caught by an inspector. They prioritize their profit margins over industry standards and contractual honesty. If you want a floor that actually lasts, do not trust this company.

We had received multiple quotes from other companies but we liked Adrian's professionalism the best. Rovin's workers showed up on time the day work was to begin; however, a job that was supposed to take 1.5 days to finish took 5 days due to human error, and trying to resolve the problem (drip from final application on floor where the worker set his roller to leave for the day and forgot to smooth it out on his way out the door). Total accident. It was one minor problem that turned into several after trying to rebuff and reapply the finish. I contacted Adrian when I noticed the drip and he sent his guy back that same day and the entire first floor hand to be rebuffed and another finish applied. With that said, this is a Swedish finish with horrible fumes so I'm sure it took it's toll on the worker. Unfortunately, the next day I noticed a very uneven application in several areas. I called Andrian again and he came to inspect the job the next day and said he's very busy but he would be back tomorrow to redo them himself. Anyway, Adrian came out to correct the problem which I appreciate but there are still some spots that I'm not completely satisfied with but I did not want him to do it again. I can hide those spots with rugs or furniture, and I want to get my house back in order. Overall, Adrian is professional and the floor looks way better than it did when they started. There was a language barrier with the workers so be mindful of this but Andrian is easy to reach if you have questions or need clarification. I wanted to give them 4+ stars so bad but couldn't justify it given the delays, uneven application in certain areas and no discount offered for the inconvenience. Would I hire Rovens again? Yes, probably, because he's professional and he tried to turn around the situation. Good customer service means a lot to us and I can tell Andrian wants to ensure his customers are satisfied. I added a photo of the drip that caused the rework if that hadn't happened I would have given them 5 stars because everywhere else was perfect. Unfortunately, the rework process turned one problem into several problems and additional delays in completing the work.
