We decided to refinish the wood flooring (1/2 the first floor was wood) in our house as well as pull up the soiled carpets in the other half of our house and replace it with new wood. Nelson came to our home reviewed the damaged floors and without pressuring us, provided a very detailed explanation of the process and then provided a very fair quote. Throughout the entire process he made himself available to our many questions, including on the weekend. He was also very patient when we asked him to do a match of the builder grade stain used on the original flooring. He gave us multiple color choices which actually inspired us to change the color which we had originally never considered! Due to weather, we had an issue with the floor not drying and bubbles occurring in the polyurethane and without us asking, Nelson volunteered to rebuff the top layer of the Poly.
