I have been using Reza for flooring projects for over 20 years now. He carpeted my office on Duke…read moreStreet, he carpeted my sunroom on Washington Road, he carpeted a duplex I owned on Farmington Road, and even carpeted my motorhome (!!) and did a great job at a great price. The sign of an honest merchant is when they suggest things that do not profit them. For example, on Farmington Road, when we bought the property, there was newer carpet that was all wrinkled up. I was going to replace it but Reza said he could re-stretch it and remove the wrinkles, which he did and it looked great. A lesser merchant would have simply sold me new carpeting. Years later, when the carpet DID need to be replaced (tenant with a dog) he did the whole house for a very reasonable amount. We have a condo in Alexandria and the parquet flooring was looking sad. I asked Reza for a quote on carpeting the place and his reaction was "what's wrong with parquet flooring?" Again, a lesser merchant would have immediately tried to upsell me. But we decided to carpet and they just completed (today) the job, in less than four hours and it looks great and was very, very reasonable. The world needs more people like Reza, that's for sure!

I popped in to the store one day and picked out carpet and Reza came the next day and did all the measurements. I decided to add slate tile to my front entrance and Reza was a huge help figuring out what would work best coordinating with the new carpet. All of the four workers who came to the house were wearing masks and gloves. They were professional but warm and did a wonderful job. I will be stopping by soon to discuss new windows. I trust them and will definitely use their services again.

Awesome experience with VA Top Floors - Ileana and Jose are a dream team to work with!…read more First time homeowners, we moved into a house that was primarily hardwood - didn't know if we should do anything with them before we bought furniture, so called a few companies to look at the floors and advise. Ileana came out within two days and advised that the floors could go with a "buff and recoat" saving half the cost of a full sand and refinish... very honest! The former owners had given me some mixed messages on what they had cleaned the floors with, so I was concerned about the buff and recoat working and expressed this to Ileana. She was always really prompt with emailing and calling me back... and I was annoying. She and Jose personally came out to our house on their day off to do a sample spot to make sure everything would work - excellent customer service! We proceeded with the job and the work was done quickly and they did such a lovely job. Ileana is a "master colorist" and was even able to fill in some stain to worn areas of our floors and they look brand new. My husband and I literally cannot stop gushing about how amazing our floors look. And the best part is not only are our floors gorgeous, but VA Top Floors was such a pleasure to deal with through the entire process - no games or flakiness, unlike pretty much every other vendor out there. I completely trusted them in my home. Highly recommend!!
