The first is simple and contemporary, the second involved an intricate pattern of colorful tiles forming wall-size images. Sara worked with us on the design, asking many questions to understand our aesthetic aims and practical needs, and offering a variety of options for us to choose among to achieve our goals. She also provided a variety of very effective ideas and solutions, considering the physical constraints of the (relatively small) spaces, to ensure the best use of spaces and to create a very open feel in both bathrooms, all in a cost-effective manner. The actual construction was done in an extremely professional manner by workers who were not only highly-skilled but also friendly, considerate of our needs, and responsive to our questions and concerns as the projects progressed. Particularly impressive, amazing really, was the tile work performed by Cliff. The colorful bathroom involved laying more than 1,000 tiles, and cutting more than 100 tiles to create the intricate design. It also involved the fitting of the many tiles to very close tolerance specifications. Cliff was both masterful and highly conscientious in completing this tile work. The result is stunning. In addition, along the way in both bathrooms, specific questions arose about alternative approaches to implementing features of the design. Cliff identified and raised these questions for us to think about, and he offered aesthetically pleasing solutions. In short, Cliff's work was thoughtful, technically masterful, and informed by his strong sense of aesthetic beauty. We are most impressed by Kitchen and Bath World for their general approach, their implementation, and the final product in renovating both bathrooms. Kitchen and Bath World has our highest recommendation.

He was reluctant to provide advice on paint colors, but it was clear we didn't like the color I picked out for my living room. After some deliberation, a new color was picked and his team repainted the living room at no extra charge. Another important detail is that I'm pretty handy myself, and most contractors I've dealt with were generally dismissive of women who know a thing or two about home repairs, tools, and the work it entails. Not Devis. He and his partners were great - they listened, considered my input, and I never felt dismissed in any way. The work took a bit longer than expected due to material shortage but the end result was beautiful. I'm absolutely going to use QD for my kitchen renovation soon. We had to use them because we are building a house with a local builder (not a good experience…read morethere either). The consultation was fine and everything seemed to go well. We had picked out our appliances prior to our visit, something that should be noted. When the time came to install the custom cabinets, the island color/wood type was completely wrong. The width of the refrigerator opening was pretty much the exact size of the width of the refrigerator. They never asked the dimensions, they just said it'll be fine and they'll take care of it at the consultation. And lastly, we had purchased a drawer type microwave, which they had the dimensions for from the appliance people. After installation, we noticed two 2X4 blocks underneath the microwave. Custom cabinets? Custom install? More like a cob job to make it fit correctly. We are very displeased with this business and would not suggest them to anyone. The other thing that left us annoyed was the fact that when we asked how much the upgrades would cost, just an approximation, the owner underestimated by about $4000-5000. For someone who has been doing this for as long as she has, one would think she would have better estimation skills. Please be careful if you are doing business with them, not a good experience.

The space was not an easy space to work with but Bonacio got it done! I also hired Bonacio Construction to create a large closet as well as the installation of new lighting fixtures. From the moment we met it was professional, friendly and fun. The work is exemplary. The main points of contact, James Ackerman and Amanda Santy were always in touch and easy to deal with. In fact, James was super picky regarding the tile selection and I appreciated his opinions and perfection. One of the employees, Jim, was punctual and also very efficient. Believe me, I see scams and immoral hikes in pricing for the consumers especially the consumers coming into Saratoga for the track season. Not here. This is a family run business with folks who work hard and do a beautiful job. On a side note, James was nice enough to do a formal walk thru on my home when the builder (not Bonacio) did not show up when I flew to New York for my pre- settlement walk thru.
