Dahlia was a delight!…read more Stopped in on the way home from the beach for queso and margs and was shocked by the GINORMOUS margarita I was served. I love a good coconut marg, and theirs was $14. I had no idea what was about to come my way but it was HUGE!!!!! The drink was so good (sooo much ice filling that huge glass) but it was fun to get such a big drink. The queso was good too. My husband ordered steak and it had to be sent back for undercooking, but otherwise, it was a really good meal. The service was not responsive. Had to ask for chips, drink refills, and waited a good bit to see the server to tell her to take the steak back to be cooked again. All-in-all, food gets a good nod, but due to the lack of service in a largely empty restaurant, I am giving it 3 stars.

We were pleasantly surprised that they were able to seat our whole group, at one long table, without any wait. The restaurant itself is a lot larger inside than it appears from the outside, with plenty of seating. I ordered a house margarita, which was good, and substantially sized. The chips and salsa were tasty, and with as large of a table as we had, they refreshed them for us, which was great. For dinner, I had the pollo poblano, a chicken dish that comes with mushroom and spinach stuffed chicken, rice, and they kindly switched out the black bean puree for vegetables. Overall, the meal was good, but surprisingly not super flavorful.

Hanwoo Korean BBQ--The "Hidden Workout" Dinner **Strechy…read morepants, may be required** Rating: 5-Star If you want to feel like a Michelin-star chef and a competitive eater at the same time, get yourself to Hanwoo in Port Orange. I went with my BFF and her boyfriend after hearing all the hype, and let's just say, the hype is real (and very filling). The Vibe: Steakhouse Chic meets DIY: Oddly enough, the decor gives off major upscale steakhouse vibes. It's sleek, dark, and actually quite romantic or great for a quiet "getaway" dinner. It's definitely not your average "greasy grill" joint--the atmosphere is gorgeous and classy. Disclaimer: Even tho I was the 3rd wheel. lol The "No Doggy Bag" Challenge: Our waitress was super nice, but she didn't waste a second before dropping the hammer: "No to-go bags allowed." Basically, she was telling us, "Eat it all or leave it behind." Naturally, we took that as a personal challenge--accepted! The Food: Why it Beats a Traditional Steakhouse We went with the Classic Dinner, and the quality was top-tier. The Favorites: The Bulgogi and Hanger Steak were flavored to perfection. The Short Ribs were a total dream, and the Gyoza and Fried Shrimp were the perfect crispy distraction while we waited for the grill to heat up. The Value: Think about it--at a fancy steakhouse, you'd pay $50+ for one steak and maybe a side. Here, for a similar price, you get an unlimited parade of high-quality meats, seafood, and appetizers. Plus, I'd much rather pay for a nice sit-down meal--even if I have to cook it myself (pun intended! lol)--than waste money on "yucky" fast food. The Aftermath: I walked in hungry and left "overfilled." I'm not kidding when I say I literally couldn't get up from the booth. I had to sit there and contemplate my life choices for a few minutes before my legs would work. It's the kind of fun, delicious experience you do once a month or every other month to keep it special. (if that) Pro-Tips for Hanwoo Newbies: The "Same Page" Rule: Remember, the whole table has to pick the same menu (Classic or Signature). Choose your "meat-mates" wisely! Pace Yourself: It's all-you-can-eat, but the "no to-go" rule is real. Don't order 10 plates at once or you'll be staring at a pile of steak you're too full to eat. (Please be concious, don't waste food, TY). The "Forklift" Exit: Wear stretchy pants. This is not the place for tight belts or restrictive clothing. You will expand. For real tho, lol Master the Scissors: Use the provided tongs and scissors to cut the meat into bite-sized pieces while it's on the grill--it cooks faster and makes it easier to share!

Our 2nd visit in the last 12 months. 1st visit was ok, 2nd visit knocked it out of the park. Great…read moreratings and reviews, and hungry for some good Korean food, provoked us to come back. Our server, Sophia, was exemplary in service, knowledge and customer service. We didn't catch the managers name but, she stopped by the tables numerous times on our visit. The runners, the servers, the food were all on point. Much to our surprise, one of the All You Can Eat specials on the weekend is only $27 per person and there is plenty of food for that price point. Sophia and company have made Hanwoo our new favorite Korean restaurant & BBQ in Volusia County.

I just happened in here on my way to the beach to go surf and very glad I did. I love quality Viet…read morefood--but so much in Florida (aside from Orlando) is lackluster. This is different, this is the real deal. You look at their menu and know it's legit at once--then there are the desserts which are also legit and remarkably so--very welcome. My bun bowl with skewered grilled pork and spring roll was absolutely perfect. Like, it seriously could not have been any better. Adrian, my waiter, was also excellent. My only critique--and it may seem a petty one--is the music was banal, trite, American and British pop hits from the early 2000s. There is so much good Viet pop and other Asian music--K-pop if nothing else--they could play, so why this? I don't want to hear the same music Kohl's plays at a restaurant so magical and delicious. But aside from the bad choice of tunes, this is a gem in full.

The name is actually Mama's Pho and it was changed quite a while back! Our 2nd visit to Mama's Pho…read more Anyway, our first visit was about 6 months ago. Our first visit we had Ashlynn F as our server. We struck up a conversation with her on the first visit and found her to be friendly, professional and knew everything about the food and restaurant. So, as we drove over for our second visit we hoped Ashlynn would be there again. Well, our wish came true and we were greeted by Ashlynn when we walked through the doors. Not only did Ashlynn remember us, where we sat on our first visit but also what we ordered the first time!! Anyway if you want great food, great service and some drinks, with or without alcohol, give Mama's Pho a go and we don't think you'll be disappointed. See you next time Ashlynn
