Carpaccio is a nice spot if you don't mind going to the American Dream Mall or are already there shopping. It' is aesthetically pleasing from the outside and also has a tastefully done interior. It's located in the luxury end of the mall so expect the prices to go with it. We did their prix fix lunch menu along with some cocktails. Service was good. Caesar salad Filet mignon Porcini mushroom/cheese Pasta Chocolate lava cake Tiramisu A nice spot to enjoy a respite from the busier section of the mall.

Carpaccio is such a cute spot inside American Dream Mall and definitely one of the prettier restaurants there. The full liquor menu is a plus, and honestly the bathrooms were stunning (had to mention it lol). That said, the food felt a bit overpriced for what it was -- not bad, just underwhelming for the price. Waiter wasn't super attentive for slow afternoon lunch. Still a fun place to grab drinks and hang out, especially if you care about ambiance.

Service here was great today with servers constantly looking after the table, and the downside was the menu has changed slightly (more expensive) and the dishes are slightly different. Portion size on the chicken fettucine alfredo was smaller, but still good, but the prosciutto flatbread which used to come with large shavings of cheese now has an option of parmesan sprinkled on top, not quite the same flavor. Fried calamari still excellent with the squash and hot sauce and the marinara.

Revisit with family as we are in American Dream. Since my last visit is horrible so the expectation was low. They seated us for one of the best view inside with round table. We order filet mignon, jumbo shrimp with linguine, salmon, chicken Parmesan and pasta with lamb. Food execution was very well. 5/5 The only negative is the price. Our bill came out close to $400 with tips. 2/5 Will come back again for the executive lunch which is fair on value

Dined on a quiet, rainy, Thursday night. Party of 8, we had a 6:45 reservation. The host was MIA, it took a minute for them to seat us and then a while for a waiter to come to our table. The restaurant was fairly quit so not sure why the service was slow, everything from the water to the dessert was delayed. On to the food- the Manzo Parmigiano and fried calamari for apps were very good, perfect sharing portions. For entree I had the chicken Parmesan which was large and delicious however it should have came with a side of pasta as opposed to the hospital grade mashed potatoes and bland steam veggies (broccoli & carrots). My sister ordered the branzino which was on the specials menu, the waiter came back and told her it was no longer available, she opted for the capellini with shrimp, the pasta was very good in a light spiced sauce, the shrimp however were inedible, very fishy. The rest of our party enjoyed their dishes- lobster fra diavlo special & lamb ragu. The waiter was apologetic for the slow service stating they were short staffed (this is my second time at this location and both times the service was super slow), he brought us 3 complimentary desserts. Apple pie which was huge & flaky, chocolate soufflé, and tiramisu (heavily soaked with alcohol). All were good, big portions. Espresso martini was on point, made perfectly.

We had an absolutely fantastic meal here this past weekend. My husband and I dined here on a whim while visiting American Dream as I was craving Italian. Our bread that came out needed a little more dressing to it, but nonetheless delicious. My Pinot Grigio was perfectly chilled. The fried calamari might be one of the best I've ever had. It was cooked to perfection with sweet marinara sauce. My husband enjoyed the spicy pepper that came with it. For dinner, I ordered spaghetti with marinara which was fantastic. My husband's dish was great as well. If you're in the mall and are looking for a nice restaurant, definitely stop here! PS. The bathrooms are clean!

The Samtini was delicious well balanced alittle sweet but nice. Ambience: amazing. Service :fantastic very cheerful and welcoming. Lilia at the bar was snacking with custom drinks. Shrimp cocktail was tender and juicy not too cold. Fried calamari with zucchini was nice but could use just slight bit of seasoning. The salmon with herb was delicious, mash potatoes was nicely whipped elegantly placed with some broccoli and carrots and zucchini The jumbo shrimp was really HUGE no mistake there pasta was alittle lemony but still good, Salmon with cream sauce topped with shrimp was also good.

10/10 experience. We went there as a full team from Ferrari to indulge in some happy hour bites & drinks and had the best experience ever. Service was top tier by Cici & Enrique. They made sure at all times we were doing great, very accommodating, very friendly & great vibe overall. Would recommend a 1000% if you're in the mall!!

Really good food, ambiance and service! It's located inside the American Dream mall and is their fine dining option. I loved their homemade iced teas. It comes out hot (cooked tea), then they pour it into a cup of cold ice... amazing! As for the food, it hit the spot. Fresh, tasty, tender, crispy, flavorful, delicous... etc. Can't wait to come back.

Located at the luxury part of the mall. Service is great, attentive & friendly. Food is amazing. $35 for 3 course meal a deal! Portions a big. I had the salmon entree w tiramisu. So good. The place is very pretty, photogenic. After a big meal can go for a walk to digest. The mall is gigantic.

Beautiful interior. Both inside or outside seating are great. Service was attentive and the wait wasn't long for seating and for all the food we ordered. It's a bit of a walk though from one end to the other in the mall. The restaurant is all the way on one end while things to do are all on the opposite side of the walkway. But I guess you can walk off everything you eat here. For apps we ordered salmon tartar and meatballs. 5/5 Chicken parm 4/5 just what you'd expect Truffle (more than a hint - so the scent was a little overpowering) tortellini (al dente) I'm not sure if I enjoyed it the sauce was very good - added shrimp (ok) 3/5 Other than the food and the location, the atmosphere and the service is great.

This is a luxury dining experience! This restaurant is inside the American Dream mall. It has delicious, authentic Italian food and a beautiful ambiance.

Finally made it Carpaccio for restaurant week. This is located in the Saks fifth Avenue side of the mall. The atmosphere is relaxed and chic with red chairs and mirrors. It was quiet on a Sunday afternoon around 4:30 but by the time we left it was filling up. We sat at the bar for dinner which has TVs (for the sportsfans) and our server Chasteidy was wonderful. Restaraunt week menu allowed us to try a good sampling : Tricolor salad was tasty with a light dressing. The Caesar salad was good but needed more dressing and we could do without the anchovy on top. Main courses- chicken franchaise was ok, lots of capers! Sauce was light. It came with mashed potatoes and vegetable. Salmon with shrimp and brandy cream sauce was very good. I had the sauce on the side because I don't like too much heavy sauce. Desserts - tiramisu - was delicious, very light and good espresso flavor soaked the lady fingers. The chocolate soufflé was actually a molten chocolate which is a favorite of mine, there was plenty of chocolate sauce in the middle and was served with vanilla ice cream on a shortbread. The serving portions were good.

But the staff was incredibly welcoming right from the start, and that alone earns them five stars. You never know what to expect in a new neighborhood, but they set the tone immediately. The vibe of the restaurant is very comfortable. It is the kind of spot you walk into after a long day or a productive day and you just know you are about to eat something good. It feels like a family run place, even if it is not actually run by family. It has that warmth. You can tell it is an important part of the neighborhood. I even noticed pictures of community members on the wall, which says a lot. Now, the food. There is hot food, cold food, and plenty of items you can take home. I ordered a chicken parmesan sandwich, and let me tell you, it was the size of a skinny football. I am not exaggerating. It took me almost a day and a half to finish it. It tasted exceptional, and I actually had to stop myself from eating the whole thing in one sitting so I would not slip into a food coma. One tip, eat it while it is hot. That is when it is at its peak power. My friend agreed with me about the overall vibe and quality. If I am ever in the neighborhood again, I will gladly go out of my way just to try more of their dishes. You do not find spots like this easily. New York City has great food, but a place with this combination of warmth, quality, portion size, and charm is rare. In another city, this could easily be a reservation only spot packed every night. Here, it fits perfectly in the community. Great job to everyone there. Keep up the good work. Cheers.

It was 40 mins before closing on a Sunday, the complete staff still made us feel lived and welcomed. They went through the menu with us, they described anything that was needed. Let's get to the beautiful ambiance, we sat outside and had a nice romantic evening together. The food was beyond delicious. I got a chicken cutlet parm with vodka sauce on a huge hero. The flavor was on point, texture of vodka sauce was NOT overwhelming. The amount of mozzarella they put on it was perfect to where it had a nice even melt. My bride ordered an eggplant wrap drizzled with sweet balsamic glaze. Cant wait to have to go to NJ for something again just to enjoy this place one more time!

The interior is visually impressive: elegant table linens, comfortable leather chairs, and a dining room that looks polished and upscale. When we arrived, what appeared to be the owner was greeting guests at the entrance. Since he was welcoming everyone and dressed differently from the rest of the staff, we assumed he was the owner. It was a great touch and immediately raised our expectations. Unfortunately, the experience did not fully match that first impression. We started with drinks: a glass of wine for me and an Old Fashioned for my wife. As happens too often in restaurants, the stronger drink was automatically assumed to be mine, and the drinks were delivered incorrectly. It's a small detail, but one that reflects attention--or lack of it. Bread arrived quickly, followed soon after by the food. I ordered the gnocchi with meat sauce. The dish was acceptable, but nothing extraordinary. My wife ordered the house seafood salad, which was very good--fresh, flavorful, and easily the best dish we had that night. Our waiter spoke limited English. Once he realized we also spoke his language, the service became noticeably more relaxed and somewhat overly familiar. He immediately tried to guide us toward the most expensive items on the menu. When I declined coffee after dinner, he responded by saying something along the lines of: "Well, that's your choice, but the coffee here is very good," which felt unnecessary. We also had a small issue with the Old Fashioned garnish. The orange peel looked unusual, so we asked for the drink to be replaced. The waiter did replace it, though he first tried to explain that what we thought were worms were simply marks on the fruit peel. For dessert we ordered the tiramisu, which the waiter promoted heavily as the best dessert to try. Unfortunately, it didn't deliver. Instead of the classic layered presentation, it arrived more like a cup full of cream with a few pieces of soaked bread and very little coffee flavor. The issue was not just the dessert itself, but the expectations created when it was described. Bareli's is a beautiful restaurant with a great location and atmosphere, but the service details and execution didn't quite match the level suggested by the setting.

It's not horrible, but there are definitely some areas that need attention -- especially when it comes to hospitality and cleanliness. Staff is hit or miss. Some are friendly and helpful, others seem like they'd rather be anywhere else, especially during the morning shift. The "seat only complete parties" policy is strange -- particularly when the place is nearly empty. Not exactly the kind of flexibility you expect from a hotel restaurant. Food is fine, but overpriced (as expected in a hotel). Nothing to write home about. Definitely skip the pasta -- especially considering some of the best Italian food in the country is just across the river. My biggest issue was with cleanliness. The salt and pepper shakers on every table were grimy and gross -- the kind of thing you don't want to touch, let alone eat near. If you're going to use communal shakers, they need to be cleaned regularly. It's a basic thing, and it makes you wonder what else is being overlooked in the back of house. Bottom line: I wouldn't choose to come here unless I had to. If it weren't for the convenience during a work trip, this would've been a one-and-done visit.
