    Great little primitive and folk art along with beautiful consignment shop. Always the place to go for gifts! Nice owner too.

She gave one pillow to my dad and the other to me as Christmas gifts. Shortly thereafter, we discovered that the paint used to stencil the letters and numbers on the pillow was water soluble and wiped off with a damp paper towel. It would have been impossible to wash or even spot clean the front of the pillow case without also removing the stenciling. Today, well beyond the 14-day return policy stated on the receipt, my mom and I brought the pillows back to the store to see if there was anything we could do to protect the paint on the front of the pillow case (Scotchgard wasn't going to cut it). As soon as we walked through the door, we were greeted by an associate. We briefly explained our concern to the associate, and then without even batting an eye or even checking our receipt he apologized, stated that he was unaware of this issue, and immediately offered to exchange the pillows for other merchandise. We ended up selecting different Buffalo-themed pillows. Room offers beautiful contemporary furniture and home decor, and after spending time looking around the store and observing the quality of their merchandise, it's obvious that the faulty pillows were an anomaly and in no way typical of the products sold by Room. My mom and I were both impressed with this customer service experience and appreciate the attention we received.

My mom seems to shop here somewhat often but now that I know, I'll be honest: I don't love the overt Christian branding and that alone will never make this store my first choice. That said, I can't deny the variety they offer. No matter what craft you're into whether it be sewing, quilting, painting, home decor, seasonal projects, etc. Hobby Lobby seems to have just about everything imaginable under one roof even if it may be extremely challenging to find/the layout of the store wasn't great... While I'd prefer to shop elsewhere when possible, I can see myself returning if I'm in a pinch or need something specific. I can admit it's a convenient option. Three stars for selection and convenience with some hesitation on the overall vibes and prices.

But none of that stops me from wandering the aisles of Hobby Lobby like I belong there. Because baby, I do. I may not be gluing rhinestones to wreaths, but when it comes to home decor? This is my Super Bowl. No matter the style, no matter the season--modern farmhouse, vintage cottagecore, "my house looks like an antique shop and I love it" chic--Hobby Lobby always delivers. Fall? They've got pumpkins in every size and personality. Christmas? Don't even get me started unless you want to hear me wax poetic about artificial garland and buffalo plaid. Need a random decorative sign that says "Gather" in cursive? Oh honey, they have seven. And I will consider them all. (Who am I kidding: I already own all seven!) Walking into Hobby Lobby is like entering a magical vortex where time doesn't exist and your cart fills itself. I always leave with twice as many items and zero regrets.     Horrible customer service. Christmas just passed. My husband accidentally threw out his gift…read morereceipts from 2 separate gifts. We went in to ask if we could exchange them. We assumed they'd give us store credit without a receipt. Both items had their tags on. The store said they'd take the items back but take off 20% value for not having a receipt. They're getting their item back in perfect unused shape and want to take extra money from you for an accident? You can find better stores that will build better loyalty without ripping its customers off.

This winter break, I found a gorgeous sequined Bills jacket (blue base, red sleeves) priced at $217. They were offering 25% off Bills gear at the time, but I wanted to think it over before making the purchase. Laux had the same with colors reversed for $115 but I prefer the jacket to be more of the blue than red. *The one pictured is the Laux one. Unfortunately, due to a flight issue, I wasn't able to return to the store as planned before leaving town. On January 2nd, I emailed the store explaining the situation and inquiring about having the jacket shipped. I received no response. I sent a follow-up email and again got no reply. I finally called the store to explain what happened and asked if they would honor the sale price since I had tried contacting them earlier. The woman said that they don't ship if it's not listed in the website, which is fair.I even mentioned I have a relative who could pick it up for me. The response? They wouldn't honor the sale price as the sale is over. I understand policies, but the lack of response to my emails and unwillingness to assist a repeat customer felt like poor customer service as I attempted to get in contact with them during the sale. I've always enjoyed shopping here, but this experience has left questioning if I will be back or recommend it to others.
