Our table was pretty cramped for four people, which feels like a weird oversight in a place that size, come to find there was better seating in a separate area. On the positive side, the waitress, Tanya was friendly, attentive, and accommodating. She even packed up our leftovers for us, which honestly felt like the highlight of the meal. As for the food, it was hit or miss. The fries were way too salty, the deviled eggs leaned heavily on mustard and didn't land well for me, but the fish sandwich was actually solid with fresh, good-quality fish. Unfortunately, that level of quality wasn't consistent across the rest of the table. For a restaurant that leans into Portuguese cuisine, the other dishes were a bit of a letdown. Prices were pretty standard for the area, nothing shocking there. We ended our visit in a gift shop that predominately is filled with 3D printed fidget toys.

We didn't try any food or drink, but our 6:30 arrival time was perfect as we were finished well before karaoke started. They make excellent eye contact. Thankfully, they're back now! I visited them this week & was so relieved to see them. Goofy celebrated his 44th birthday in July & Nubs celebrated her 43rd in May. It was interesting that when the elephants were let out, they had different areas close to the fence where the elephants could grab a snack in an enrichment type toy that kept them very close and visible. We actually found that with a lot of the animals that they're enrichment toys were located in areas that kept them close to the crowds, and they seemed more than happy to be snacking in those spots. The enclosures were not huge, but seemed to be very clean. I was very satisfied with our visit. There are not a ton of food options, but would recommend the bacon cheese Smashburger meal, which came with a drink and very respectable french fries. Seems like a great zoo for kiddos and has a goat petting zoo where they can brush the goats.

They've switched to hourly rates instead of per-string pricing, which makes a lot of sense with their efficient setup. Their Monday-Friday special ($20 for an hour of bowling plus shoe rental) is a great deal - and thanks to how quickly everything runs, you can easily fit three strings into that hour, as we discovered when we overbooked for two! The facility itself is super clean, including the bathrooms (always a telling sign). They've covered all the bases for refreshments with both a proper bar/food setup and vending machines. The counter staff is friendly, parking is plentiful, and the whole operation runs like a well-oiled ball return machine. It's great to see a family entertainment spot that's both well-maintained and affordable. Lang's has managed to preserve its community bowling alley character while giving customers all the modern conveniences they expect. Perfect for family time or a fun afternoon with friends.
