This is the absolute best playground in Warwick. It is very well maintained, safe, and clean. It's such a neat experience for children. They can truly let their imaginations run wild here. They can drive the big wooden car or one of the many Little Tykes cars they have. You can fly a helicopter or be the train conductor. You can play in the sand table with all of the construction vehicles. You can pretend to paddle the fishing boat and pretend to fish. It's truly one of the best playgrounds I have seen. As much as I love a good place for kids to play, and as much as I want to say that I love impossible dream, I'm just not sure if I feel the same way about it as I did when my kids were young. I took my great niece there last month, and was disappointed that things are not kept up like they should be. it is a great place with lots of things to do, but it isn't kept up. There is a donation box at the front that obviously most people don't even bother to put anything in. I always throw at least five dollars in each time I go to help with upkeep. It's a big place and there is a high school right down the street, and they should reach out to the high school to ask for volunteers especially in anyone pursuing any type of crafting or art, anyone looking to volunteer for putting in time towards maybe some program for children? I wonder if they had even asked? . I don't know who is in charge of upkeep, but it isn't very good. There are cobwebs, at least two bees nests, spiders in everything with big thick webs, and as we all know kids hate bugs, at least most of the kids I saw there, along with my great niece, would scream bloody murder every time they saw a spider or a bee or a cobweb. The cute train closed down, I'm assuming for a while now, many things could use a paint job, were a bit dilapidated and in desperate need of repair or upkeep of some sort. I realize many of the parents are not as caring towards the area and let their children run and do whatever they want. Which is fine to a degree, but I even saw children being overly rough with things and the parent didn't even stop them. There needs to be a couple of volunteer monitors because apparently parents don't care. That's how things get broken There is a nice area where the kids can play in the sand and there are some toys there, plenty of seesaw, places to climb and some slides, but I think a few of the areas could definitely use some of those sun sails for kids to play under on scorching hot days, especially over the sand area there is a nice place to sit and have something to eat that is covered. But you have to bring your own picnic stuff. And if you have questions while you're there, no one is really there to answer them. It's a shame this place has gone downhill a little bit, there is a lot to do, I will give it that but maybe whoever is in charge should reach out to colleges and get some volunteer programs going For weekly upkeep. There are also bathrooms there, you have to go inside the main building Let's be honest there isn't a whole lot of places to go with kids that is inexpensive or free. This could be so much better though. read more

Was invited to participate in a work function at The imPOSSIBLE Dream and it was lovely. The campus is easy to get to from the highway and through the entrance leads you to a path into a private parking lot. There are different functions to this space. The play ground was awesome. Different things to have the children play. There was also an indoor space used to rent out for functions. Very nice to set up and coordinate with different vendors to provide catering. Overall a very nice experience. I am happy to have found this gem and look forward to checking it out again. read more

We took the little (4 year old) to this playground over the weekend. They had two outdoor parties going on but that just meant more kiddos to play with! I have to say - I thought this place was GREAT!! It is huge and has a bunch of options. Swings, see-saws, monkey bars, a pirate ship with slides, sand boxes (could use some sifting so we didn't really use them), a castle with slide, trains that you can climb all over and a koi pond among other things!! This playground is funded by donations and maintained by volunteers - so yeah, there were a few dilapidated hand me down McDonalds toys - but other than those - I don't see what's run down about this place (mentioned in one or two reviews) ! So there are a few faded, older, Little Tykes toys - that didn't stop the little from whipping up imaginary food at them! I love that 85% of the ground surface is some sort of squishy composite - makes you less anxious about slips / road rash! I also love all the little houses towards the back - great for kids who love to play pretend - we saw a workshop (sponsored by Lowes), a mini house with kitchens, and one that looked like a post office. I also really love that this is an inclusive playground - meaning it is set up for able bodied children and disabled children alike! They have swings that can accommodate wheel chairs, most of the wood structures had nice wide ramps and the play houses have big, wide doors! All in all - I would say this place is a must do for anyone with little kids. They have indoor bathrooms (it was warm and we must have been sweating - we were there over 2 hours and never had to go!) so I can not comment on those. Check it out - I know the little is already asking to go back!! Pack some snacks, bring some cash (bills or change!) and make a donation as you enter or exit so all children can enjoy this awesome playground for years to come!! This place has many items to the kids to be entertained and improve their motor development. Because I came with a 4 year old and 1 year old I wish they would have a gate at the entrance with a latch. Also, wish they posted the inside hours separately. Disappointed not open at 10:30. read more

Had some friends meet us at this playground for a little birthday gathering for my child. At one point, I was doing a headcount and couldn't find my child, so I had my husband circle too. Nothing. So we started getting a little scared and had more people help. My mother in law ended up finding my child INSIDE WITH THE WOMAN WHO OWNS THIS PLAYGROUND.. alone. After some discussion, I found out my child was invited inside for free toys. I was so disturbed by this... I don't care if it's a woman, you don't take someone else's child!!! The woman also approached me afterwards and said I needed to pay, and I told her we graciously donated $50 in her donation slot. She said "no honey, the picnic tables aren't free and you're having a party here" my husband and I were really confused.. it turns out on the website it states you have to pay $75 for use of the "covered party pavilion"... they're picnic tables at a playground where half the equipment is BROKEN! So we offered to write a check after some back and forth and she said "no honey sorry cash only" (what's with the honey??" So my husband had to leave, go to his bank, take out cash and drive back.. missed about an hour of our child bday party. I will never ever ever ever go here and I tell everyone I know how creepy, predatory and pushy the owner is. What a shame. read more

A great playground for kids, lots of activities and play areas all with the padded ground for safety. The goal of the playground is to make it accessible to kids with disabilities and it succeeds - every kid will have fun at the playground and maybe even learn something in the process. It is free but they do accept donations to help maintain the park, help if you can but let your kids enjoy the park either way. read more

I had my sons birthday party over the weekend and although everyone enjoyed themselves there were a couple issues I ran into. My balloons (5) were delivered before I arrived so the women working called me to tell me. She told me if I wanted her to grab them for me and put them in her office it would cost me $25 even though she was already there and was not in inconvenience to her but would've been a common courtesy for me. I had no choice but to say ok because the person delivering the balloons would not wait for me. When I arrived I gave the women my debit for the $25 and she said cash only. I had no cash on me at the time. After thinking about it, she said NO problem taking my card over the phone when I booked the rental for the party. This women followed me around all day for this $25. The more I thought about it the more screechy it sounded. I signed no contract when booking so nothing was in writing. I was not paying $25 for a balloon hand off and the fact she said cash only was a red flag. Whats funny is I was going to tip (donate) $50 after my party. Another issue we had, like others who left comments, regarding the gate being open. So many kids were running for the parking lot and with cars parked of both sides of the enteeence it's extremely dangerous. read more

This is such an awesome play area for kids!!! I guess what you think of it will depend on your expectations. Personally, I have 3 boys ages 5, 2, and 1. I have a very hard time finding play areas that they can all enjoy together.. It seems they are almost always designated for either younger or older kids, leaving one of them left out usually. This play area really is great for both of my older boys. I cannot get myself to stop accidentally calling this place the "Imagination Playground", thinking that's the name but really, it fits. This is not your typical slide and swing set place. There are various toys and obstacles all over, giving the kids a chance to really use their imagination while playing. I am a huge fan of more "free" type set ups like this.. I feel my kids have much more fun and there's much more to do when there's so many creative outlets, opposed to the same ole swing and slide. The playground consists of a bunch of different types of slides, one of them a big metal one that slants right to the floor. A couple see-saws, one you use ropes to pull up and down, and there's springs under the seats causing the person to bounce up and down (I tried it. It's crazy). There's lots of building type set ups like a kitchen area, "jail" area, a little mini house. There's a train to play on, some cars, little push toys.. There's all kinds of swings: baby swings, tire swings, swings that look like cars. My kids have such a blast, I wish it were closer. The ONLY thing keeping it from a 5 star review is I really wish there were more things for infants. The only place to swing him is in the back area in some shorter swings, and I let him crawl around a but in the fake house. If there were maybe a small, closed off area that did not have the wood chips, where the younger kids could hang out and get some interaction as well, then this place would be PERFECT read more

This place is awesome! First of all, at the entrance there is a little transparent box so you can put on a donation, if you want to, cause there is no entrance fee at all, so basically the entrance is totally free of charge. I think this is a non-profit park, there are a lot of toys that people would donate. It is a very beautiful playground, with their little wood houses and wood ships, slides, swings, and many other things for kids to have a great time. We liked it so much that we just celebrated my goddaughter's second birthday there. They have different packages at reasonable prices, that you could choose from to celebrate parties, you can rent a gazebo, a salon, or the Castle. The floor is made of a material similar to cork, so the kids doesn't get really hurt when they fall. The only thing that could be better is the shading, because there are not enough trees, so protect your kids before with sun block, and be sure to bring a lot of water, cause they'll be pretty sweaty. But, in general, the place is great, your kids will really enjoy it! read more

This is a lovely playground with lots for the kids to do, playhouses, many slides, swings, little tikes type toys and mini golf (I have never played, I think it costs a few dollars). Beautifully landscaped, soft walking surface and a fishpond where you can feed the fish! (there is a fish food dispenser for 25 cents) My kids love feeding them! It is also staffed so it is clean, there are no cigarette butts or trash on the ground or people smoking like other playgrounds. It is handicapped accessible so all children can play, which is great. The only problems: there's no shade and it feels about 10 degrees hotter here, so it's hard to go in the summer, and it's only open April to September. Sometimes it's closed during the hours it should be open, so you can't be sure it will be open. Overall, we really love it here! read more

Very nice park! The there are a lot of toys for kids to play with. The park is clean and well maintained. There are indoor bathrooms that are clean and air conditioned. There are a lot of different equipment for the little ones to play with. I took my 2 1/2 year old and he had an awesome time. We will definitely be back. read more

This was a pretty good playground. The kids enjoyed it for a while before getting bored. Bathrooms were clean too.Only thing I didn't like was the rubbery surface the playground was on, it really intensified the heat in the playground. We kept the kids hydrated the whole time though, other than that we'd visit again. read more

Visiting this park ended up being a nightmare. The park looks like it was nice at one time. However, it is somewhat run down, and nothing has been updated in some time, so I am not sure where the donations are being used. My son was using a seesaw that appeared to be designed for standing because there were ropes above it that were difficult to reach while sitting. A random woman started yelling at him from across the park. He is autistic and does not always understand directions. I did not intervene because I had no idea who the woman was. A minute later she yelled at him to get off the equipment because he didn't listen. At that point, I asked her if she worked at the playground, and she snarkily replied that she "owned the place." I have no problem with someone giving my child direction, but I would suggest that workers ID themselves and not scream from 50 feet away. This would be more professional and effective. Better yet, address the parent directly and with a gracious attitude. My son was upset and so was I. Especially since the website says, "Dreams should not be impossible to a child who is already limited by a physical or emotional barrier." When my son's aunt tried to explain to the owner that he has autism the owner replied, "I don't care what he has..." Inclusion...what a joke! How about basic courtesy? read more

We took our 16 month old daughter and here and she loved it! Its huge! There is so much to do. It is very clean and there are things there you dont normally see at a playground, including toy cars and power wheels to push the kids around in. The only downside, while not being enough to deter us from going, is the fact that some of the equipment needs to be repaired or touched up a bit. Granted they run on donations so it must be hard to upkeep. Either way, you can donate as you walk in and enjoy this from 10am-3pm everyday. Well worth your time. I would take my daughter here over any playground in our neighborhood. On a side note you can rent out various halls in the playground for birthday parties which is cool. read more
