What a great spot just 1 minute off of US-30. Plenty of space to park a large RV or Semi. We stopped for breakfast on our way home from Mid Ohio Sports Car Course to grab a quick breakfast. We love to support the "mom & pop" restaurants and this little diner did not disappoint. Large tasty portions, all homemade. We sat at the counter and enjoyed the breakfast bowl and the Royal Breakfast, both were delicious. You won't be disappointed. We will spot by again. read more

I've eaten there several times, and never had a disappointing food. Their breakfast are very reasonable and I could hardly eat all of it. They all you can eat fish on Fridays is all this world. I will keep going every time I get a chance. read more

The bacon looked and tasted lightly salted and peppered. Ambiance (*****): Seating is at a premium, though this does not inhibit the regular patronage from enjoying the quietude of this roadside diner. We were on our way to a wedding in Mansfield, Ohio and were looking for a quick lunch. My GPS showed Carolyn's Kitchen and Yelp said OK. We went right passed it first because it didn't look like a restaurant, but we were hungry and we were here. There were several people inside so we seated our self and were waited on immediately. Very friendly waitress and we ordered simple. Grilled cheese for my wife and eggs and bacon for me. Both were excellent. I rate this a 4* for what it is--- a very nice and friendly diner with great food and not very expensive. If you're in the area try it. read more

Passing through the flat farming lands of north - middle Ohio and was getting hungry. By the look of only farms and crops in the fields for many miles, did not know if any food joints would become available. GPS showed this diner and we decided to try it out. Was only a mile or so off route 30. Glad we did! A normal diner that is not fancy but has a variety of homemade menu choices to choose. We both ordered sandwiches, soup and a slice of pie which hosts a long list of pies and cake. Great diner to refuel your energy. read more

This little diner is one of my favorites!! The staff is very friendly!! With fresh made to order food and the portion sizes are big. I have heard amazing things about the pies but I'm always so full I haven't tried them yet. My favorite thing is the western omelet and they are huge and stuffed full of all the goodies. It's a local diner, and it serves up some fine food. I really can't say much more than that other than bring cash; they will not take credit cards. Breakfast all day (which is what got me in the door), and if I were a really picky ex-chef, I'd remove a star for them making a scrambled egg by frying it up hard in a pan and then chopping it up a bit...but the French toast was pretty fine and the stack of pancakes my wife got was massive, and well done. So, don't be picky, bring some dollar bills, and eat well in the middle of nowhere (which is really pretty good cycling area, hint hint). read more
