As a matter of fact; I don't think they accept it! That's the story going around town. I do come to this Walmart quite often. Today I took my purchases out to my car and had a What did I Just Do Moment! I forgot that I'd tossed my prescription glasses in my drivers seat and I sat down on them! Both lenses popped out of their frame! I kind of got a sick feeling in my stomach! I pondered what to do to get out of this jam! I didn't buy my glasses here and I didn't know if they would repair them or even if they could be fixed! I decided to take a chance and carried this self induced disaster to the vision center. I patiently waited my turn in line and asked the technician if she could help me or was this beyond repair! She was friendly ( she probably sensed that I was desperate) and smiled at me as to reassure me and calm my mental state down! She told me to hang loose and she would repair them and be back in a minute or two! And there she came with my newly fixed glasses! I asked her how much money I owed her and she said no charge! I immediately tried to give her a twenty dollar bill but she said they can't accept tips! I told her this was no tip and I intended to pay for her lunch. She turned her head and with her eyes took a long look at a security camera directed right at us! I guess they were watching us! She wouldn't take anything! At any rate; how can I not think favorably about the Walmart Vision Center after this experience? I was treated more than nice! I recommend this place most favorably!

After my wife had her eyes dialated they sent her home without the safety sunglasses which are usually handed out for this reason causing her to suffer. I had to give her my sunglasses to help her get home.

During the appointment, the person fitting my glasses made inaccurate assumptions about my vision history, dismissed my input, and even physically hurt me during the fitting--with zero apology. When I politely corrected him, he brushed it off entirely. What makes it worse? I sent a kind, detailed follow-up email asking about important next steps in my eye care--lenses, drops, treatments--and nearly two weeks later, I've received no response. For a place that had no problem taking over $600 for glasses, the lack of communication and accountability is unacceptable. I don't recommend this clinic if you expect to be treated with basic respect or to receive professional follow-through on your care.

On 3/31/2026 I went for a routine exam for glasses. Got what I thought was a good examination by…read moreDr. Lindsay Wood. She gave me a prescription for glasses which I requested by bifocal. Although she also gave me new of some issues that I need to get checked by a Retina Specialist; still glasses were prescribed. No problem there. I was measured for the bifocals. I was told it would be two weeks wait for the glasses; which took a couple of days more. On 4/17/2026 finally went in for the pick-up of the glasses; to find that they had order the wrong prescription (keep in mind I paid $398.00). I could not see clearly upon trying them on; but could see clearly with what I previously had. They had no explanation for me as I questioned where this process went wrong. Why for the first time ever I had a wrong prescription. I admit I was angry; but not disrespectful. I also was pressed for time with a family matter and could not prolong having to wait for them to fix the error. I asked for a full refund but going deducted the lab fee as per their policy. My issue with this place is that the manager did not make the effort to find out where and who did the mistake. I question how they get to keep the lab fee if it could have possibly been the actual lab that did the mistake in the prescription in the first place. They wanted to go further and report this unprofessional matter but will let it go and find another place. Another problem is with a copy of the so-called prescription I received; how am I to know that this is a correct prescription; if I wanted to just go to an optical for frames and give this prescription? They never even tried to reach out to make things right.
