I moved around 3 other appointments as I too am a busy professional. Yet, I got there, got the tests and drops and then was left waiting for 45 minutes and after they let others see the doctor who had come in and gotten drops 20 mins. later than me, I said something. The young lady was too busy eating and gave me a dirty look which was smug for a young lady. This is either poor practice management (no excuse when AI and other tools allow for accurate scheduling), a general culture of disrespect, or simply a young male eye doctor's arrogance. Dr. Khan seems to have lost control of his schedule and staff. This type of mismanagement may be acceptable to you. I am sure he is a good doctor, but I am good at my profession also, but would not treat clients this way. They want you to be on time, but they are not.

As a matter of fact; I don't think they accept it! That's the story going around town. I do come to this Walmart quite often. Today I took my purchases out to my car and had a What did I Just Do Moment! I forgot that I'd tossed my prescription glasses in my drivers seat and I sat down on them! Both lenses popped out of their frame! I kind of got a sick feeling in my stomach! I pondered what to do to get out of this jam! I didn't buy my glasses here and I didn't know if they would repair them or even if they could be fixed! I decided to take a chance and carried this self induced disaster to the vision center. I patiently waited my turn in line and asked the technician if she could help me or was this beyond repair! She was friendly ( she probably sensed that I was desperate) and smiled at me as to reassure me and calm my mental state down! She told me to hang loose and she would repair them and be back in a minute or two! And there she came with my newly fixed glasses! I asked her how much money I owed her and she said no charge! I immediately tried to give her a twenty dollar bill but she said they can't accept tips! I told her this was no tip and I intended to pay for her lunch. She turned her head and with her eyes took a long look at a security camera directed right at us! I guess they were watching us! She wouldn't take anything! The lady at the front desk told me immediately that I would have a 58.00 copay because I had original Medicare and a supplemental plan. They don't cover eye exams. I then told her I was covered under my wife's VSP insurance. I could tell that she didn't like this at all as the copay is only 15.00. After my eye exam at checkout the lady said I owe 58.00 dollars! I told her that was incorrect because she said 15.00 under my wife's plan. Here's the dishonest part: Even under my wife's plan if the doctor makes a medical diagnosis it's a 58.00 copay. I strongly asked for the doctor to come up front and explain this. He did; his diagnosis was that in a year or two one of my lens implants would need attention because it could get cloudy! That's a medical diagnosis? Customers be warned; this is a scam and a racket! Everyone seems to be trying to pick your pockets! I have never had a single problem with this office before; not in my twenty five years of business with them! Shame on You! You just lost a loyal customer! And I hope this review helps you lose more!

Some providers are concerned that they would be stepping on someone's toes and not speak up, but I was pleased that she did. I received a prescription for both glasses and contacts. The office has a good design and flow to it. Everything was neat and clean. They also have a small optical shop on premises that carries some pretty awesome frames.

Every staff member at Providence eye is genuinely warm and caring but most importantly knowledgeable. The communication between staff members is fantastic-making the patient experience much easier. I felt so comfortable knowing that everyone was on the same page. Despite the fairly simple pre and post op instructions they were repeated to me just the right amount of times, in writing and in person. I was made to feel completely comfortable to ask any questions at all! Dr. Mozayeni was friendly, warm, informative, very detail oriented and thorough. He didn't try to sell me on Lasik, but rather educated me and was informative about my options.
