Excellent service! I called Monday afternoon to see if someone could come out in the next four days…read more(guests staying for the weekend) to fix a moaning toilet, a leaky shower, a low-pressure shower, and a maintenance check on a water heater. After calling several other companies--Cary Plumbing, Waite Plumbing (who never answered or returned my call), Michael and Sons, etc.-- Bizzy Bee was the only one able to come that week, and although it may have just been luck, the scheduler said there was a cancellation and the very next day just opened up. The interaction was quick and easy; the only slight snag I might have is that Bizzy Bee works on an inspection fee (was $60 for me) first and does not give out estimates over the phone. This is understandable, because who knows what mess a plumber will be walking into, and, if we're all being honest, if we're calling a plumber to fix the issue, we're not as knowledgeable about the issue as we would like to think. It is a bit problematic if you take a day off work and the job ends up being bigger than expected (or parts need to be ordered), but I rather get the issue fixed correctly and have an accurate price quote after it has been looked at. The plumber who came out was Kenny Hoggs, and he is awesome! After a discussion of the issues and some inspection, Kenny went back to his truck to negotiate price with a supervisor. He came back and was upfront about how long it would take and what parts he would use. I have the benefit of having a father (lives across the country from me) who has been a plumber since he was 16; I, sadly, did not follow in his footsteps (the trades are booming, people!), and only picked up some basic skills. Yes, if I had the tools and the time, could I probably fumble around for several days and fix my issues while watching poorly lit YouTube videos? Maybe. Would some of it leak and potentially cause thousands of dollars of damage? Likely. I ran all the issues past my Dad and he let me know the price range I could expect for what I needed. Bizzy Bee came just under the average he suggested; as an expert in another field, I think the reviews discussing the expense of plumbing services need to remember that you are paying for expertise from a licensed plumber--not just the services being provided. Would you take the cheapest surgeon available for an important procedure? Kenny fixed all of my issues in three hours, was informative and open to any and all questions, and did not try to sell me anything I didn't need. I can easily say it was one of the best interactions I have had with a service provider. As long as Kenny is around, I will 100% take all of my plumbing needs to Bizzy Bee. Highly Recommended.

His contemptuous reply was much more troublesome than the fact that he refused to believe our photos and documented facts. We didn't call Bizzy Bee because we assumed that the mold inducing leak was not from the new toilet they installed just months before. We called Triangle Home Repair who noticed...after they had assessed the source of the leak, noticed that when the toilet was flushed, a new batch of water would emerge. Once it was reinstalled with proper wax ring...the problem was solved...after $1500 worth of repairs to damage. Mr President talked down to us as if we are stupid or liars, which I found inexcusable. Beware.

Barrow…read moreBuilding Co. ended up being an absolute disaster, but Kidd Plumbing sent us an older, experienced plumber at first--everything seemed fine. As the project progressed, our renovation received a host of different plumbers who seemed less skilled than the original person. To make a long story short, they plumbed hot water lines to our toilets and outside faucets, cold water lines to our faucets, etc. It was only by sheer luck that we discovered that we would have been paying for hot water every time we flushed a toilet or used the hose! Multiple calls to the owner and two physical visits to their offices failed to get ANY response from Kidd. There are definitely other plumbers in the Triangle area that you can work with.

We spoke with many different plumbers, but Eddie was clearly the best choice. He has more years of experience than I've been alive, charged reasonable rates, and was able to schedule a visit on the same day. Once he was on-site, he identified the leak was within our irrigation system and was able to quickly shut off the leak without disrupting the flow to the house. He, unfortunately, didn't have the equipment to complete the repair, else I would have certainly contracted him to do so. Overall, Eddie is a straight shooter and the type of person you'd comfortably recommend to friends and family - not just to random people on the internet!

The sales process with Michael Martin was smooth and transparent with no pressure tactics. Michael is lovely to work with. Incredibly responsive, knowledgeable, and inspires confidence because he actually does know what he is talking about. The design process was also great, with no pressure to accept any particular designs. The design team was very flexible with me and made adjustments to make it exactly as I wanted within my budget. Paul Matarazzo was our project manager. He did a phenomenal job communicating with me while we were out of town during the project, and was very responsive to all of my questions and concerns. He kept the schedule up to date far enough in advance that we were able to talk through details of certain finishes (like whether to add crown molding around a new post or not) before the work would be done. They used high quality moisture resistant drywall and waterprooofed, waterproofed, and waterproofed some more. This was standard practice for them. I had been concerned about the affect of the construction dust on my husband and son's lungs (they have asthma), so we decided to leave the house for the first couple of weeks of our project. EZPro went above and beyond by placing an industrial hepa filter in the room adjacent to the master bath to manage dust. I was so glad to hear this not just for my family, but also for the health of their workers. When we got home, they had vacuumed as well!! The entire house was so clean. We took the vent covers off and cleaned them and vacuumed inside and found almost no evidence whatsoever in the ducts that they had ripped out two bathrooms. Amazing! They also went above industry standard on a few things for me to add some finishing touches I wanted to make the bathroom a bit more child proof. They didn't push back at all on these items and kindly did them. They had higher standards and better attention to detail for the finishing touches than I did. In areas where I felt something was 'good enough,' they insisted on making it the best it could be. At one point, they asked if I recognized a small dent in my stairwell wall. I didn't recognize it, but since I have young kids I told them it could easily have been one of us who made the dent. They insisted on repairing the drywall and repainting the entire wall. It literally looks better than when they arrived for our project and they left me with the leftover paint to touch up the rest of my house (at no cost to me!). All of the workers were incredibly professional, worked around my baby gate when needed though it was an inconvenience to them, and were kind in answering several of my childrens' questions. When they finished, they wiped everything down, vacuumed again, and left my house completely free of construction dust and debris. I would absolutely work with them again on any future projects I have.
