Scheduled an inspection to see what needed to be repaired and materials needed, give us the contract (and no additional costs were added during the repair) then scheduled repair date. The roof was "droned" so that any other areas that needed attention could be found and we watched the movie - The Roof. A team of three arrived to do the repairs. They are safety minded. Two guys (Buddy system) on the roof together. Actually painted to match the new flashing they installed so the roof looks perfect. Checked the whole roof and caulked/re-fastened nails, etc. Explained and showed me what was done after work was completed. Ivy then emailed our invoice. A pleasant experience. 21 Roof is now in my contacts for roofs.

In this case their salesman Billy showed up on time (!) and advised that while there is evidence of minor hail damage that might support an insurance claim, the only current problem is a single nail-pop. He patched and repaired that while he was on the roof, taking pictures of the before and after. At no extra cost over the original $89, no less! He did suggest that we have a maintenance check done, and showed me where there is pollen getting under some of the flashing that might become an issue later, and quoted this at $375. A week later the repair techs arrived, again ON TIME, and were professional and friendly, completing the work and providing me with photos of the other locations they had repaired. They did not change their billing, and we gladly paid the $375. In this world where every roofer is angling for a sale and keeps a public adjuster on staff just to argue with insurance companies, an honest roofer with great pricing is a gold nugget among the rocks. I'll be calling again when/as needed.

But now we are having problems with the company responding to our inquiries about problems with the flashing. Originally it was done poorly. It took months for them to call me back, get someone to look at and to "repair". Six months later this is what it looks like (see below). I had a contractor look who told me that despite H&S normally excellent work this was bad. All I want is someone to come fix it. But no one will call me back (same as right after I paid for the roof). Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this company at all.

I told him i wanted a written, detailed estimate with options. he refused, and threw out numbers. The first thing they did was to ensure that my vehicle was parked far enough away (slightly down the street) so that no damage to it occurred. They then spread tarps over all my shrubbery and other outside items to prevent any damage or contamination that might arise while they were working. They went to work immediately at full speed and did not stop at all until the job was almost completely finished! Their crew was very respectful and did things that I did not expect, like moving my patio furniture away from the house so as not to damage it. Additionally, they trimmed some hedges that were out of control, although this was CERTAINLY NOT THEIR REPONSIBILITY! Bee Roofing is a family-owned company and they place great pride in standing behind their work and providing a quality service. Their headquarters is in York, South Carolina, however they provide service to a very wide area. I wholeheartedly endorse this company and the high caliber of their staff and work ethics.
