I've been looking for a scooter for a while now and my husband found this spot for us to visit. We were greeted by Tim, the owner, right away. We explained what we were looking for and he showed all the scooters he had that could suit my needs. He was so knowledgeable and friendly that I knew even though that was the first store we went I would buy my scooter from them. Later that day we visit others stores by none could beat the service Carolina Fun Machines Offers. I bought a wolf Islander and a helmet from them. They explained how everything worked and what documents to take to register my scooter. I am planning to keep my scooter for a year maybe 18 months and them switch it to a motorcycle. Sorry, sorry customer service. We bought out daughter a kart for Christmas and she didn't even get through a tank of gas and the belt broke. That's ridiculous and the dealer didn't want to give us the time of the day. I understand how warranties on belts and such works but 3 hours is silly. They seem nice until they get the sale then they are pretty much finished with you. I will never go back to Carolina Fun Machines. read more

Dropped my TGB X50R by to get a estimate for repair on a Friday and had to chase them down on Weds to get a response. Claimed they left a message on my cell phone but it was mysteriously missing. On top of that they were rude and told me they didn't want to work on it and to come get it. The upside is at least they didn't charge me to make it worse. Although it cost me $32.00 to find out they didn't want to work on the scooter. read more

I'm in the hunt for another motorcycle and went to this dealership afraid I was going to get another dealer two step. However, my salesman (Rick) was as nice a salesman as I've ever had. He treated me like a human. He took his time explaining everything doing his absolute best to find a bike that fit me. We finally settled on a Kawasaki. I've another three dealerships to go to today. I doubt I'll get the same humane treatment as I got from these folks. read more

Over Priced, Poor Quality Chinese four wheelers and go karts. I brought my $1300 go kart thinking I would get a good product for the money. I was wrong. My go kart lasted three months. We rode it less than 6 hours with 4 problems. The final problem the muffler fell off causing the head gasket to blow. Poor warranty: the warranty only covers parts, so after the 5 hours labor at $65/hour. It would cost me more to fix the motor than by a new motor. Do not buy from. They only want their money and don't care about the customer read more

Never buy tires here. I purchased a new scooter a little over a year ago and I love it. I had no real problems, till I got a flat tire about six months ago. I plugged the tire and continued ridding until next scheduled maintenance. I got them to put a new tire on at that time. The tire they sold me is now showing significant signs of dry rot. When I took it back in, they agreed that the tire should have lasted longer, but the only solution they could offer was to sale me another crap tire at 10% off. One of the reasons I bought my scooter from these guys, was a promised two year warranty that they quit honoring after one year. While I would buy the scooter again, I will not buy another tire there, and will likely never buy parts there again, (they sold me an exhaust gasket that was supposed to be new but leaks). I have had no complaints with the service department, and may continue to go there for maintenance as long as prices remain competitive. If they go up much, I will probably start doing my own oil change etc. read more

Buyer Beware! Do not fall for Sweet Southerner Gentleman act. bought a very expensive scooter here. when i went to purchase it, it did not start, i was told that was to be expected with new bikes- waited a couple days for them to fix, went back out and picked up bike, 6 days later it wouldnt start again, brought bike back, after several days - they fixed it. picked bike back up. bike broke down again, same story, several days later i picked it up. they left wires exposed this time which melted to my muffler and caused my lights to short out at 11 pm while riding. took bike back, same scenario. Eventually i told them i was no longer willing to keep bringing the bike back and forth and paying for it to be fixed - they told me i had no choice. REPORTED THEM TO THE BBB and they replaced my bike. i upgraded and added a couple bells and whistles -i was overcharged $360, called them out on it and it was refunded. Now being forced to tag and title the thing (over $200) so that they can resell it even thorugh it is clearly a VERY faulty bike. They were never able to fix it for me, dont know why / how theyd be able to fix it for a new customer. very shady. read more
