This has to be the worst car wash location and service in north Dallas. This Prosper car wash sucks I paid $30 for them to wash the car outside thinking they were gonna clean the inside. My fault for not reading the fine print.. Most car washes, clean the inside and outside for $30. Not only did the representative try to up sell me on getting a monthly membership for $50, $60, $80, etc. l but he had audacity to tell me that if I don't use it on a monthly basis then it's my fault. I went in for a car wash on 10/08/24 at the Prosper, Texas location of Carnation Auto Spa. The female attendant put the hard sell on me for a trial basic car wash membership. I said I wasn't interested but she kept on saying that it was only a trial membership and that my credit card would only charged if I elected to continue it beyond 30 days and that I would have to proactively tell them I wanted to continue. I only wanted a single car wash so I gave the attendent my credit card to complete the transaction. for a single car wash. That day I was charged for an $11 basic wash. I never went back for addtional washes nor did I indicate I wanted an ongoing membership. I just noticed that the car wash has charged my credit card $22 on 11/08/24, 12/08/24 and 1/08/25. I immediately went to the Carnation Auto Spa website and found that the business had signed me up for a recurring monthly membership using my card. I canceled the membership and emailed the business requesting a $66 refund which has not been issued. If I had purchased a car wash membership on Oct. 8, the business would have charged my credit card for $22 that day and I wouldn't have been charged $11 for the car wash I purchased that day. Instead, they waited until 11/08/24 to begin charging my card. Many people don't notice but I'm meticulous in reviewing charges so I caught it eventually. This is fraud. I have made a formal complaint to the BBB and noticed that there was a previous unresolved, unanswered complaint very similar to my experience. In that case, the recurring charges weren't caught by the consumer for 6 months. Beware! read more

Continue to charge credit card for several months after cancelation. Attitude when you try to cancel it. I ended up calling a corporate operations guy because no one would get back in touch. I have had a membership since they opened. Lately they are not meeting expectations. Check in is taking too long and today they didn't brush/clean the front grill or back of the car. I went through again, told the attendant and they still didn't clean the front or back. They did for the car before and after but not mine. After having some body work done, Carnation did a detailed cleaning on my daughter's 2018 Civic. This model of car has some terrible cloth seats that really shows stains, so over the years the interior, mainly the seats, has been looking pretty sad. We've never been able to do much with the stains with over the counter cleaners that we've purchased. So I was amazed at how beautiful that car looked when we picked it up. I didn't look this good when we purchased it!(it was a couple of years old at the time). I'm not used to having cars detailed at this level so I can't compare to other experience, but I was extremely impressed with this work and I'm very grateful. I came to this location for a single time wash. Did not realize until six months later I was being billed regularly for a membership. It was such a small amount. I didn't notice it on my monthly billing cycle until several months had gone by so when I went up to cancel, they could not find my membership based on my license plate so they looked at my card on file. Come to find out there is no car attached to my membership at all and they've just been billing me $34 a month for nothing. When I asked how they would reimburse me, I was informed "that's not policy ". I asked them what their policy is on fraudulently charging customers, and the lady just stared at me and said "sorry". I'm apparently not the first person that has happened to either, so do yourself a favor and never come here! They did offer a free wash so I went through and was left with nothing but soap suds all over my car. read more
