When I went in today to get my oil topped off, I was met by a young mechanic who said pop your hood man. Then he told me it would be simpler and easier to check your own oil at home. That doesn't strike me as polite service for a paying member of the car wash. I pay about $100 every time I get my oil changed, and I pay $40 a month for your membership. I feel I should get more courteous service then "it would be simpler and easier to check your own oil at home. I have the right to come get my oil topped off when I need to since I'm paying for oil changes there.

Basically, every other self service car wash business within 10 miles is utterly horrible and Cougar, while not glamorous, gets the job done so 'In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.' If you need someone to talk to about your car wash experience at Cougar, you should probably get your car washed elsewhere because Cougar tends to have various anonymous people 'running' the facility, most of whom are never there and who also provide no means for contacting them. If you wash your car at least once a week, install the Coinless app and you'll be automatically be charged $25 / month which nearly always covers the time required to wash your car so it is worth it because you are basically paying a little over $6.00 per car wash. ($25/4 = $6.25). If you don't wash your car that often (let's say once or twice a month), then of course your cost per car wash goes up ($25.00/#washes per month) is $25 per wash if you only wash your car once a month. Since I have recently scaled back the number of times that I wash my car per month, I elected to delete my account from within the Coinless app, which, as far as I can tell, is the only possible way to keep them from charging me another $25 on the 23rd of this month. Similar to the Cougar Car wash, it is extremely difficult to actually find someone to talk to at the 'Coinless' company so I'll be watching my bank account for any future charges to my bank account after I delete my Coinless account via the Coinless app. Moving forward I'll just use quarters to pay for my car washes at Cougar.

I think the cheapest outside wash was like 8$ all the way to close to 20$. I asked if they dried the car afterwards and they do not- which usually I don't like- so I got the cheapest outside wash. However they do provide towels when you are vacuuming your car- so I really liked this better because even though I dried my car myself, I did it the way I wanted to and it looked nice and shiny at the end. The staff seemed really nice and on top of cleaning and picking up after people. The vacuums were good quality and you get one on each side of your vehicle and you don't really share them with the car next door like most places do. They have a lot of spots to vacuum so it doesn't feel crowded either. I think they may do inside cleaning as well but I honestly didn't ask about prices. Definitely I will be back to this car wash. Affordable, new, clean, quality machines, good service and its kind of near my home. Check it out!
