We had a recent miscommunication during our daughter's appointment. Their incompetent front desk said they had trouble pulling up our insurance even though they accepted it. I stayed at the clinic to try get a hold of insurance for them but spent almost thirty minutes on the phone with no success They said I was taking too long even though this insurance issue should've been dealt with on their end before we came to our appointment. We drive out 40 minutes just to see this doctor for personal reasons. They tried turning us away and we said we can pay cash. They said it was illegal for them to take cash because we initially told them we have insurance. Long story short, we were frustrated and left the clinic. We tried calling back to get my daughter seen. They responded by saying they were no longer taking new patients. We called a few times more and kept getting the same answer. The last time we called, the receptionist said there was an issue with our insurance. I called our insurance and they said we were black listed from their clinic and cannot call back. I just wished they told us up front and discussed about what happened instead of lying and giving us the runaround. They're not organized and they might not tell you the truth. Don't come here.

For the past year, I have repeatedly requested referrals to specialists, and it has been an ongoing struggle to get them handled correctly. Referrals have been sent to the wrong specialist offices, information has been entered incorrectly, and I have had to repeatedly follow up and explain the same issues over and over again. This has caused unnecessary delays and made an already stressful situation even more difficult. Unfortunately, my concerns are not limited to referrals. I have also been disappointed by the lack of knowledge and efficiency when it comes to the technology and computer systems used to document visits. There have been situations where it seemed like staff and providers were unfamiliar with the systems they are expected to use, which makes the entire process feel disorganized and unprofessional. The reception staff have also been difficult to deal with. When you ask questions or request assistance, the attitude you receive can make you feel like you are inconveniencing them rather than being treated like a patient who deserves help and respect. What concerns me most is the apparent lack of communication, accountability, and follow-through. Mistakes happen, but when the same problems continue to happen repeatedly and patients are left responsible for correcting those mistakes, it becomes unacceptable. Patients should not have to spend months or years chasing referrals, correcting errors, repeatedly calling offices, or fighting to have basic requests handled properly. Overall, I have had a horrible experience with Creekside Medical Group and would not recommend them based on my experience. PLEASE READ THIS…read more First and foremost, I want to say that I absolutely love my doctor at this office. She is efficient, compassionate, and truly listens to my concerns. This review is not about her, it is about my experience with one of the medical assistants. I was recently told by my primary care provider that I was pregnant based on my lab results. After experiencing bleeding, I was directed to go to the emergency room. The ER informed me that there was a strong possibility I was having a miscarriage and instructed me to follow up with my PCP and schedule an appointment with an OB-GYN. The next day, I called Creekside Medical to request a copy of my lab results because the OB-GYN specifically asked me to bring them to my appointment. Kailee told me she would email them to me no later than 5:00 p.m. that day. Unfortunately, I never received them. The following morning, I went to my OB-GYN appointment without my lab results. Because they didn't have the information they needed, they were unable to properly evaluate what was happening or determine whether I was miscarrying. After the appointment, I called Creekside Medical again. Kailee answered, and I explained that I had requested my lab results the day before but never received them. She responded with an attitude and told me she had sent them "20 minutes ago." I explained that I had specifically requested them the previous day because they were needed for that appointment. Her response was simply, "Well, I sent it." I then asked if I could speak with my doctor because this was an urgent ER follow-up. Kailee told me my doctor was busy and fully booked for the week. When I explained that the ER had instructed me to follow up with my PCP, she told me that if it was urgent, I should just go back to the ER. I asked for her name to confirm who I was speaking with and ended the call. I went back to the ER that same day. The ER staff explained that there was nothing more they could do because it was too early to determine what was happening and that my follow-up needed to be with my primary care provider. After leaving the ER, I called Creekside Medical again. This time, Kailee sent me directly to voicemail four times in a row. After the second time, I started recording the calls. To verify what was happening, I used my boyfriend's phone to call the office, and the call was answered immediately. I also have that recorded. I reported the situation to another receptionist, and the only resolution offered was, "At your next appointment, I'll make sure she apologizes." That is simply not an acceptable response. I am in the middle of what may be one of the most difficult experiences of my life, trying to get medical care while possibly miscarrying my baby. Instead of receiving support and guidance, I felt dismissed, ignored, and humiliated. I also work in healthcare, and I cannot imagine treating a patient, especially one in such a vulnerable situation and way I was treated. Every patient deserves compassion, professionalism, and access to appropriate follow-up care. Again, this review is not a reflection of my doctor, whom I genuinely appreciate. It is about the unacceptable and unprofessional way I was treated by one staff member. I will be reporting this experience because no patient should be made to feel the way I did.

I was given some lidocaine shots in my muscles some muscle relaxers and they said they "don't give pain killers". If you have pain do not visit them at all. They will not help you. I'm a long term patient at Sutter. Never taking narcotics before from them. I see my pcp a few times a year with a long history with them. I was still not trusted. The doctor that helped me was kind and thoughtful, but would not support pain management. I was open to going to the hospital for observation and this was refused as well. I will be seeking a different pcp and care team. Knowing if I am ever in need I will not be helped.

I was assigned Dr. Roy Harris as my PCP. Although I prefer to have a female PCP, I was okay with scheduling all of my appointments with his NP Janina. She was awesome, but eventually moved out of state. I then scheduled with NP Wendy and was happy for the most part with the care I received. At around the time she retired, the practice brought a female MD on board. I thought, "Great, I can finally have a female MD as my PCP!" Her profile described her as exactly the doctor I had been waiting for. When I called the office to schedule an annual physical with her, I was told NO because Dr. Harris was my PCP. I told the scheduler that I was not comfortable with a male performing a physical and asked to change my PCP to Dr. Michelle Do. I was told that had to be "approved" by someone named Cynthia in the office and I would receive a call back later that day. While awaiting the call back (which never happened), I started reading reviews online and was appalled by the multiple negative reviews of Dr. Harris specifically. At that point, I was not just uncomfortable with having a male PCP, but with him being my PCP. It took two more calls to the office that week to ultimately be told by Cynthia that I could NOT change my PCP assignment. It did not matter to her that in 10 years, I had never had one appointment with him or that I was completely uncomfortable with him. She claimed the practice has a policy about switching doctors. When I asked for the policy via my patient portal, she admitted that there was nothing in writing. Anyone in health care knows that if it is not in writing, then it doesn't exist. She was incredibly rude and dismissive. By the end of my phone call, the scheduler Roberta and Queen Cynthia confirmed the following: If I were a brand new patient, then I could choose Dr. Do as my PCP. Because I was already a patient, I no longer had a choice. (Whichever PCP a patient starts with is who they are stuck with.) If I wanted an annual physical with a female, then I could schedule with a nurse practitioner or physician's assistant. The female MD in their office was not a choice for me simply because my assigned PCP was Dr. Harris. Their supposed "policy" of not allowing patients to change their PCP is completely disrespectful. Brand new patients have a choice but established patients do not. Their website claims to "deliver personalized health care" and that their "philosophy is to provide individualized care", yet they will not allow patients to have a say in who provides their care.
